Yu Yu Hakusho Pace is a work in progress fan edit that aims to be as close to the manga as possible. Eliminating filler, anime canon and padding alike. The project is only available in the English Dub (yet) and has burned in subtitles. (Signs & Songs) Currently, the first story arc, Spirit Detective (Original Episodes 1-26 or Pace Episodes 1-14) has been finished and cut out 2h12m14s (21%) of filler. Episode lengths vary, typically around 30-40 minutes each, as this project isn't constrained by a set runtime.

FAQ

Q: Why is there only the English Dub available?
A: I along with many others praise the English Dub for its level of quality. In most ways it actually surpasses the original Japanese release. Additionally, Dubtitles and Closed Captions aren't as popular compared to the English Subtitles you find in anime. So this skips having to work on subtitles and lets me release episodes faster. In the future when this project is finished I can edit the project to include JP Audio/English Subtitles.

Q: How often do episodes release and how can I get notified for releases?
A: Episodes release when they are finished. Expect 2-3 episodes weekly on average. You can join the Discord server and grab the Release Ping role to get notified for releases.

How tall is Yusuke exactly?

Or did he just get much taller as the series went on? He was like only an inch over Keiko at the start of the series, only for her to point out how much taller he had gotten after Genkai's training.

And that was before the 3 year timeskip.

Alright everyone. I distinctly remember this happening in yuyuhakasho but I can't find it anywhere. I remember during this fight scene one of "bad" guys would jab his finger under a person's ear and rip out the optical nerve so you went blind. Can yall help me out with this.

I think it's not mentioned often enough that Yusuke defied fate and surprised all of Spirit World when he sacrificed himself.

I think, as the receiver of such a pivotal point in human history, he'd have some importance. Maybe not to the plot, but in general.

I have just started this show and honestly, its one of the best ones I have ever seen. I have seen my fair share of anime and this was the best first 10 episodes I have ever seen. The old artsyle doesn't even bug me because the story is just so intriguing. Also does the anime have the whole manga story?

Alot of people dont realize yuyu hakusho though created in the 90s takes place in the early 80s so with that in mind i thought what would it look like if Togashi was drawing yuyu today and based it on today kinda deal. im going to do colors later coloring isnt my strong suit so i made sure to scan the linework before i mess it up lol

I love how you can understand why he is so evil. He saw demons as evil and humans as good but could not come to terms with the true complexity of both races and lashed out in the most extreme way especially when he stole chapter black. He was a beacon of light that was tainted by the moral greyness of reality and that makes him a great villain and someone you can feel sympathy for even though he tried to annihilate humanity.

I know Hiei when we first meet him was D-Rank, and Middle B by the time Chapter Black starts. But I wanna know about the others. Like what rank Kurama is on his own, without Yoko, or if Yusuke was in the Lower B's or Upper C's when Dark Tournament begins.

Also, is there an E-Rank tier (I remember hearing at one point this is where humans who are spiritually aware go.)

Everyone is always talking about how Yusuke will outlive Keiko and return to the Demon World.

My headcanon is that Yusuke asked Keiko first for her approval which she said yes and then requested Koenma to enhance her life to live as long as he does. For everything Yusuke had done such as saving the Spirit World and Human World on occassions, Koenma agreed to it being the least he can return in favor as Yusuke and Keiko would rule the Demon World as king and queen.

Considering Koenma had no problem with Younger Toguro asking to bring Genkai back to life. I don't see why he wouldn't disapprove.

Like, what's the highest level opponent one could kill if it were to just empty a whole round of ammunition on something or someone?

When he powers up after Kuwabara takes a dive they specifically show yusuke’s energy as both blue and red. I know this is a huge stretch since based on the development of the story toguro was meant to be the final villain. So obviously the whole mazoku thing came afterwards but I’m curious to know if anyone has alternate theories.

Maybe that’s just how Netflix has it but so much happens in the first season then the next 100 some episodes are just the tournament. Glad I rediscovered this anime it’s one of my favorite of all time
