Okay! I was rewatching Sailor Moon Cosmos and during the battle against Galaxia and Chaos, Galaxia realized that Sailor Moon(?) is "the place where she belongs". I am STILL confused on what she meant and searching it up on Google didn't help. Can someone tell me what she means by that?

Why is everyone so friggin MEAN to her?!?! She helps them, saves their lives, isn’t stuffy despite being a reincarnation of a moon princess. She just gets verbally harassed they want her to be this mature honorable leader but what’s wrong with being a normal girl who just doesn’t vibe with school and doesn’t want responsibilities? I think it’s pretty fair the worst person that does this is Luna and Mara (even tho I love them both sm) they bully her THE MOST and do so even when she didn’t do anything wrong she’s just a beautiful heart of gold young lady and I think they’re jealous that she does less and achieves way more.

Ugh sorry rant over but if anyone can tell me PLEASE lmk

Here's my idea of the talents/interests of the Sailor Scouts that I can think of:

Moon - videogames

Mercury - swimming

Mars - singing

Jupiter - cooking/ice skating

Venus - volleyball/singing

Uranus - car racing

Neptune - playing violin/swimming

Pluto/Saturn - ???

What are the other hobbies/interests of the other scouts?

I had sailor mars in my first order but had to return because of a sizing issue 🥹😭

Sailor Moon made me appreciate friendships in manga a little more. Usagi is really lucky to have such a supportive group of friends.

Is there a reason why none of her work except for Sailor Moon and Sailor V (Which itself took 20 years to get translated) have been translated and released in English? Is it just not that good? Didn't do well in Japan? Has Naoko herself blocked it from being licensed? Just seems odd that the creator of this legendary franchise has had the rest of her catalogue ignored. I'm sure big Sailor Moon fans would buy them.

Whenever people talk about Sailor moon characters they don't like,It's usually Mamoru,Chibiusa ,or Seiya. And it's mainly cause of how they're protrayed in the anime.

Now,this isn't always the cause. I've seen people not like these characters in the manga and crystal as well. But what i am pointing out is that most of the time,when someone says they don't like a particular character,it's because of how they were in the anime.

I've actually had a similar thing. Rei was my least favorite of the main cast in the anime. I didn't hate her, but i didn't like her as much as the other characters. But when i read the manga,i really liked her character alot. She was interesting and she wasn't as rude as she was in the anime.

Now,i don't hate the anime. It was what got me into sailor moon after all and i love it either way. But what i am suggesting is that the anime might have screwed up some of the characters.

Regarding the weird Usagi/Mamoru/Chibi-Usa “love triangle” subplot… Don’t get me wrong I hate it too, but the way I see this fandom react and drag Naoko in a way they don’t do with other creators who write the same thing smells like to me a double standard.

For example in Fruits Basket there’s a plot based around almost this exact same premise with a gross mother/father/daughter triangulation, and I almost never hear bashing or criticism of the mangaka Natsuki Takaya’s writing of that in that fandom, meanwhile it feels like it’s open season on Naoko when it comes to this plot-point…

Likewise, Ikuhara inserted his own incest original ships in the 90’s anime that were never in the manga (such as Ail/En) and I never see him get dragged by the fandom to the extent Naoko is with Chibi-Usa’s Electra Complex…

Do you think people are being unfair to Naoko in this respect when incest just seems like a common theme in the anime & manga industry in general?

(Fair is fair, I’m an equal opportunity criticizer/defender of both Naoko and Ikuhara depending on the subject matter, and like opening up certain kinds of cans of worms regarding the reception to each respective’s writing in this fandom)

Was at a craft fair and saw some Pokemon magnets. They had DBZ too so I wondered if they had other anime ones. At the very end of the table I found my favorite transformation of Sailor Moon including the long bow! Way better than short. Not a huge fan of the background color but no big deal.
