So my computer shuts down sometimes when im playing reforged, not sure if someone else here has had a similar experience or if the problem is something else, but i think the autosave is the thing that is causing problems in my computer, is there a way to deactivate it?.

hi, everyone! suddenly i lost the lvl of my profile. i was lvl 25 and now i'm lvl 1 again. does anyone know what happend and is it possible to get the lvl back?

Is there a way to prevent hero skins from reverting back to default every time I launch the game? I have to keep going back to my collection skins and changing it when I launch the game. Also, would be cool to see some of the campaign skins make it into multiplayer. Ilidan with the wings and green blades and the different dreadlords are all so badass. It's a shame they can't be played outside of single campaign mode.

I’m trying to find a custom map that my brothers and I used to play and I can’t remember the name, you picked Superheroes and it started with you killing zombies in a city.

As the title states, i recently beat all the campaigns on hard (TFT missions were brutal....).

To start with, I still think Reforged overall is a pretty bad remaster, especially when you compare it to games like D2/SC. Its also a terrible attempt at a remake as it makes the game worse arguably. Bnet is also terrible with no reconnect feature and constant crashes/bugs.

That being said, i wanna say that some of the graphics that they did are really not bad. The game clearly takes a lot of inspiration from the WoW artstyle, trying to recreate that.

I think the Nightelf art especially, is really decent. The human is not bad as well. I think where the game falls a bit flat is that the undead dont look that great (ghouls look like trash, wyrms look good)... and I think the orc looks TERRIBLE. By far the worst one. They all feel like each of the races are from different games. Also the general color palettes in the game feel REALLY off. Some of the map and units clash together and look awful.

I read somewhere that the game was outsourced to multiple companies, which makes sense because it really does feel that way. Also the decision to make new sound effects make sense from a "aesthetic" standpoint but are really stupid for multiplayer. They should have have had separate settings for MP vs SP.

Anyways I get what they are going for, and it could have been so much better. But they clearly dropped the ball and i think it's a sorry state of affairs that most people play the game with the original 2002 graphics.

There are rumors that 2.0 is coming out but i dont have much hope. A huge missed opportunity of what could have been. I think the devs did have passion for the game but poor management killed it.

I am happy asf. Night elf player, but my favourite and most skilled player that ever touched the game "Lyn" is on a freaking rampage!!!!! 100% winrate in past 10+ pro games. Where are Lyn fans, is Lyn era at the begining again?!

What does tempo mean in direct strike?

A friend of mine and I started playing 2v2 and so far we're 0-27. That "win" was someone auto leaving as soon as the game started. Why does it put us at 5k mmr as soon as we finished placements instead of much, much lower?

As you can see, I am still playing the old version. I tried playing 1.31 before but I don't like the empty spaces on the sides of the upper and lower UI. I read somewhere that it's like a resolution or aspect ratio issue and it cannot be fixed, but I am still hopeful

I am writing to formally address an issue with Warcraft III Reforged, which I purchased on Nov 06 2018 through Blizzard's site. Despite my legitimate purchase, I am currently unable to use the game due to it not launching on macOS since the latest update. This disruption severely impacts the product’s intended functionality and has rendered my purchase effectively unusable.

Under consumer protection laws, there exists an implied warranty of merchantability which, by definition, requires products sold to meet a minimum standard of operability as advertised. In this case, Warcraft III Reforged does not meet those standards, failing to function on the platform it was purchased for. This, in turn, constitutes a breach of warranty under both federal and state consumer protection statutes.

As a paying customer, I expect the product I purchased to work as intended or to receive a satisfactory remedy. I am therefore requesting that you either:

Provide a fix or update that resolves the issues with macOS compatibility, restoring full functionality, or
Issue a refund for the purchase amount.

If neither option is met within 10 business days, I will consider pursuing further action, including but not limited to filing complaints with relevant consumer protection agencies and potentially seeking legal recourse for breach of implied warranty.

I hope to resolve this matter amicably and promptly and look forward to your response.

Does anyone know some good custom campaigns or maps, where we can play as a draenei ? But as the usual draenei, not broken like Akama.

Warcraft direct, 2.0 and all that, do you thing that they would fix the campaign issues and fix the fps and just simply fix the whole game? Bcs the only thing that makes me think of playing is watching b2w and knowing how good the old warcraft 3 was. Lore and all. But reforged campaign is buggy in a lot of ways. Do you think that the game is going to be fixed or its just going to die a little by a little (its kinda hard to see the player count but on w3c website its bad news).

Imagine instead of being a small game that is just being watched more that played, that they put all the resources to make wc3 better without making reforged at all.

Now it seems that the game revolves around 7 top players and patches according to them. What a downfall from what it could have been.

And they are not willing to patch simple grammar errors in the campaign, like is this game cooked? Thats how little they care?

I mean if 2.0 comes around or some massive update ill consider starting to play but if not ill just forget it

How does the battle net launcher kick off Warcraft III ?

I don't see any messages in the Console log related to warcraft, battle, blizzard, wc3.

Any ideas of how we can debug this?

I ran "strings" on the binary and see some references to Google protobuf

I'm not sure how else to debug this.

If you boot in recovery mode, you can run sudo dtruss "./Warcraft\ III\ Launcher"

and it will trace the system calls, maybe one is failing.

As an iOS dev I know often times a crash like this can be due to just a missing string in the app's info.plist asking for permissions.

New player here trying to chose my main race, and i want to know more about their playstyles. Like, i'm not talking about which units you should build but more like their "win conditions", for example, from what i understood until now

-Humans are pretty bad early and are easy to get harassed, but if they manage to survive they can build according to their enemy and have a really good late game.

-Orcs are good early and needs to maintain an agressive aproach of constant harass, otherwise they fall off...? I don't know actually, because i saw people saying that they have a good late game too, but others said that they don't so idk, but if they have then what's exactly their weakness?

-Undeads are also good early and win by constant harass, and from what i understood they indeed fall of late game. But then i saw that their strongest units are T3, so why they are bad late? Also, if both them and orcs win by agression, whats the difference between their playstyles?

-Night elfs have a good... early? Idk, i saw people saying their late is trash, but also that their early units are also weak so what exactly you do with them?

Hey! Sometimes it crashes to main menu after loading up a custom map. I am lately playing "survival chaos". Others have said they crash too on other maps.

Any tips?

I just reinstalled the game a week ago. Didn't have this issue before.

As someone how played throuh the campaign as a kid and is trying to play 1v1 now bcs b2w esport is SO damn interesting to watch but feels imposible in practice.

Im thinking of quitting bcs the game is so old that if you dare to play online there are 24 people left on this planet that actively play this game and are sweating hard like happy, so its either get obliterated by dudes with 427 APM with custom binds and strict build orders or play vs bots. Also i dont like how the larger the army you build the harder to control and easier to counter (hard to control bcs the ai is so dumb they start running behind each other to get to attack anything by the time you already finished the camp etc etc).

I really love the game but somehow noting is being done on the technical front so ig just play w bots for fun or dont play at all. I dont like quitting forever but if there is no patch 2.0 i think ill just leave it as a sweet childhood memory.

Playin w bots only gets boring after a week.

Also why the game doesnt tell you more about items etc like in dota? I mean what +3 intelligence means really? In dota you just hover over the icon and hold alt (alternative key) to see more details so check this out :

How do i know what items are dropped on what map and what creep is the one dropping? Like in-game tutorial not me needing to study the editor for 3 hours for that info.

In order to bring more players and make them stay is to make a way in which they can learn, not get stomped and leave.

How can such a game get destroyed by its own developers, thats why im off about the game. But i love its core.
