/r/toradora
Toradora is a Japanese manga/anime series, featuring the kind but scary looking Ryuji Takasu who is in love with Kushieda Minori (Minorin), a care-free softball loving girl, who is friends with Aisaka Taiga (Tenori Taiga), a rich, tsundere that is in love with Kitamura (Takasu's best friend)
"There is something in this world which no one has ever seen. It is soft and sweet. If it is spotted, I'm sure everyone will want to have it, which is why no one has ever seen it."
This subreddit is for the light novel written by Yuyuko Takemiya that has been adapted into an anime and manga series, all of which are entitled Toradora! (とらドラ!). Legend has it that since ancient times, the dragon has been the only beast to equal the tiger. Thus is the story of Toradora-Dragon meets Tiger.

I'm rewatching it for the I don't now timeth. In episode two, after taiga confesses to kitamura, what does kitamura mean when he asks taiga if she remembers what happened last year?
I'm guessing he's talking about the drama with taiga's father, which is later on talked about. I'm I correct?
Hello - I have read the LN and manga up to where it currently is, and have watched the anime several times. I am actually watching it now, again.
Though I am confused on the general consensus (correct me if this is a wrong assumption) that when Ami tells Minori "guilt all gone?" it is referring to >! the assumption on Minori's part that the photo found in Taiga's handbook was that of Kitamura and not of Ryuuji, meaning she shouldn't feel guilty pursuing Ryuuji anymore.!<
Even though the photo in Taiga's handbook that was seen by the ones holding the book and Ami was of >! Kitamura !< it was obviously, in the manga especially, the photo behind that was of >!Ryuuji!<. But how would Minori know this? It was never specificied that "Taiga really does love ___". It was left as "him". I always translated this as Minori thinking the students were referring to >!Ryuuji!< especially considering the students holding the book initially said it should probably be returned to >!Ryuuji!<, before Ami snatched it and said she would do it. The snatch happened right when the students discovered a second photo behind and tried to see it. And I think Ami is pretty perceptive and most likely knew the second photo was (imo) of >!Ryuuji!<.
Minori knew Taiga much more than anyone else and most likely already assumed that >!Taiga liked "Ryuuji" at this point, and probably before!< which all the more makes me think she thought the students were referring to the photo as being of >!Ryuuji, and not Kitamura!<.
In the LN, Ami's greatly regrets saying "guilt all gone?" to Minori, and at the ski trip, I always translated the "guilt all gone?" event being the one Ami is referring to when she tells Ryuuji she had said something she shouldn't have that caused the rift to occur with him and Minori.
Also - if Minori assumed the "guilt all gone?" comment meant she knew the picture was of >! Kitamura and not of Ryuuji!< then why was she being so out of it and actively avoiding >!Ryuuji!< in the Christmas arc? Wouldn't she pursue him if she translated Ami's comment correctly? Doesn't that seem like she translated that whole scenario as the photo seen in the handbook as being that of >!Ryuuji!<? Ami can also be a bit snide (imo) in her comments, as she says later - something along the lines of she was always trying to fix things but it kept breaking more and more, and also messed things up for her as well.
So essentially- after all my word salad - can this a valid interpretation of that event and how it effects the remainder of events? And if not - what am I missing?
Do u guys want awesome toradora wallpapers like mine then I’ll be doing a tutorial someday for u guys but this wallpaper is neat !👌👌
What is the timezone the rewatch is based on? Is it Japanese timezone? I want to know in terms of what to follow etc.
Who’s excited for the annual REWATCH?!??
Hello Reddit. This year I'm doing something different for Christmas season, I'll be watching my favorite holiday time anime "Toradora" There are 25 eps and by the time I finish it it will Christmas Day. For some background Toradora is definitely top 3 romance anime, I first watched it 2018 and I watched it in one night and being completely honest I cried at the end. Being a young boy at the time I really enjoyed the thrill of them finding out they like each other. Anyways today I watched ep 1 and I really like how it started when it explains love without saying it's talking about love. My favorite part of episode one is when he delivers the wallet to the lost and found and she says he finds a lot of wallets. So episode 1 l would rate it 8/10. Check back for day 2!!
Here we go again! 😅
Hello everyone!
It is that time of year again for us all to cry and remember why we love Toradora so much. The annual Toradora rewatch is starting soon! The watch will begin on December 6th through December 30th, and the OVA on the 31st.
Please visit r/anime, because u/ChristmasClub will be hosting it and have more details on their post!
Let the mod team know if you have any other questions, otherwise we hope to have you join in the rewatch!
Christmas is coming up, and normally I’d rewatch Toradora but I’m finding that the show is becoming very predictable due to me having rewatched it about ten times already. Is there a way I can induce some kind of brain damage/amnesia that ONLY affects the part of my brain associated with Toradora?
Just got this gaming keyboard for my birthday and watched toradora and it’s really cool and what do u guys think
This will be my first one so I’d like to know and for the other people who don’t know
