Had this concept in my head for a while n couldn’t stop thinking about it till I made it !
like if they really hurt you or amth y
I mean seriously? Fucking seriously? Dies in 2 chapters for what? Literally fucking what?
In the original series she wanted to die. For fuck sake she wanted to fucking die. She was SUICIDAL. Actively seeking out dangerous things to do in the hope that she'd die. Rejecting any possible salvation for her no matter how many people reached out hoping she'd die.
I mean I think I've been there somewhat. Can't self-harm for whatever reason so instead you just seek out something to hurt you so it's technically not your fault? She was falling apart.
She didn't "accidentally" die and her death wasn't inevitable. She was mentally broken and WANTED TO DIE. Her death is honestly a 1:1 parallel to suicide, especially in the sense that it wasn't inevitable. I mean for fuck sake, it was not inevitable.
Forcing a grief seed on her then could have bought her time, enough time to pull her back enough to buy just a little bit more time. Of course becoming a witch was the inevitable fate of all magical girls, but Sayaka didn't have to fucking die then. Honestly one of the main reasons she died was because Kyoko didn't know how to save her.
Point is Sayaka did NOT have to die. Her death was a storm of horrible events in rapid succession that weren't properly managed because those around her didn't know how to deal with it. (Not saying it's their fault either, Kyoko didn't even know what'd happen to a black soul gem and she also was almost definitely not qualified to talk a person down from suicide. Which is what it'd take to bring Sayaka back.)
Just. Bullshit. Her entire death in 2 chapters was just such bullshit. The rapid decline of a perfect storm of events? Nobody to pull her back? First of all, Mami was there to help mentor her. The absurd standards she held herself to for having human emotions might not have been so bad if she was able to actually TALK to Mami again. Instead of feeling unworthy to even look upon the idol she placed on a pedestal, she would have someone with experience to confide in and talk to about her struggles.
In wraith arc she started refusing to use the grief cubes. But why?? In the original series she was suicidal, she wanted to die, she wouldn't dare use something to prolong her life. Of course she mentioned how it'd be selfish and she would be the only one to use her magic for others. But let's be honest the major reason was that she didn't want to let herself live. So why would she start refusing to use grief cubes if she wasn't even at that point yet?
She was going out, hunting wraiths alone to try and make up for her slipups. This wouldn't be out of character but refusing to use grief cubes? She wasn't suicidal, she had no reason to just refuse. Let alone allow her soul gem to turn completely black
It's almost like they forgot what actually happened in the series..? It's not like she had it super easy of course not. But she didn't have every single one of her reasons to live and fight stripped away from her until she was left with nothing. Sayaka actually does have mental fortitude. She isn't pathetically weak. She just was under a constant barrage in the original series until she lost the will to try and save herself anymore and allowed herself to continue sinking no matter who tried to help her.
But what really pissed me off was that they just ripped away the potential for developing Sayaka and Kyoko's relationship over NOTHING. They drag Sayaka's character through the mud and then refuse to develop her relationship with Kyoko by killing her. I mean really? Just as they were getting close to one another?
In conclusion I'm just a sad loser and I'm going to devote the rest of this post to canon kyosaya scenes.
Hey everyone! I'm not sure if this is allowed, or if I have flaired this correctly, but I need some advice from any gaming fans in the community. Particularly Cyberpunk 2077! I'm currently doing a playthrough as Mami Tomoe. I'm thinking it will be a solo/shotgun type of build. However, I need some advice from any fellow fans of the game who might know how to handle the following story elements.
Panam's quest line Judy's quest line Takemura's quest line River/Paralez quest lines Phantom Liberty quest lines Johnny/Kerry/Samurai quest lines
I'm thinking that I need to follow within the law as much as possible and try to appease everyone while also sticking to what's morally right. All gigs should be completed as the fixer asks, all storyline/important quests are taken care of first, and trying to handle things without immediate violence, etc. Maybe someone has ideas for how she would handle those story quests, though? It's also just a fun topic of discussion, and I'd love any suggestions to incorporate into the playthrough. I already have the "Tactical Projectile Launch System" as her Tiro Finale! I thought that was a fun suggestion I got already.
Thanks in advance!
Edit: I was just thinking about it; when Claire asks, I should probably turn down her request for us to race with her, right? I mean, Mami was in a car accident that got both of her parents killed, so I should deny her request, right?
I feel so nerdy posting this, and I apologize.
Come to think of it, Rikugou died not knowing if the sequel to rebellion would come out
Just pretend you've been approached by Kyuubey without knowing what they do, what wish would make your soul gem shine? /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
Hii, I have been wanting to watch Madoka for a long time but I haven't got around to do it, for different circumstances I will watch it but after I'm done with some other stuff, so probably in a couple of months°
I was wondering if anybody has any non Madoka related reading recs that could make the show more enjoyable. I have heard that it delves into some existencialist topics and stuff, I've read some Nietszche and Camus but if there's anything else that you think would enhance the watching experience that would be great°
Please keep the recs spoiler-free, also it does not have to be exclusively western philosophy or even philosophy at all, anything is appreciated°
tldr: looking for philosophy/literature that could enhance my first Madoka Magica watching experience
Ive been kinda waiting for this close up of witch form madoka but I think i missed it. I went through and couldn’t find it in the show. Can someone give me some context?
So, I making a magical girl in the PMMM universe, but her wish is healing based: “I wish to heal myself and others regardless of their injury”
The main issue would be what kind of weapon she’d have. She already has a bag to carry all kinds of medicine (and other things, like grief seeds), but it’s not really a weapon per se, just to carry things.
