In a rough patch right now. All Iāve got is Doesnāt Remind Me. I havenāt sunk much into Audioslave or his solos.
Found this on tik tok
I'm assuming this is on hold because of all the legal trouble between the band & Chris' widow? I know Kim has expressed his feeling that there isn't much extra material, but I would actually love to see an alternate track order that includes Bleed Together, Kristi and Karaoke.
I also seem to remember an interview with Kim back in the day where he said there is an alternate version of Applebite which has never seen the light of day. I'm pretty sure in that interview he said the band almost broke up arguing about which version was going on the final record.
I would love to hear alternate versions, early takes & live recordings from this period. Here's to hoping DOTU gets it's due and is given the deluxe treatment.
Small newer band well worth a listen , they only have about 5 songs to their name. Their latest single is top shelf material
From a lot of his song lyrics it seems there is a common theme of unrequited love or a break up.
Shadow of the Sun and Room a Thousand Years Wide are a couple examples off of the top of my head
Am I right in this assumption? Who was it?
Breaks my heart every time I hear it.
Great song, great way to announce to the world about this new (and extremely awesome) band Soundgarden.
The voice though.
If I was blindfolded and made to hear this song, I would have never guessed it was Chris's voice.
It felt heavier.
Eventually it has become easier to identify his songs but that one, man never in a million years.

I've heard Hetfield's songs from Kill 'em All and they've pretty much remained the same - the voice.
Hi soundgarden fans and everyone reading this!
i thought id share something that intrigued me, some of you might find this interesting. earlier today I was looking at what's wildly known as the "first version" of the black hole sun video, and I came across some recurring things said.
I've seen a few people claim there was an even earlier version of the video, with no CGI effects, going as far as to say that it even aired on MTV but was "replaced very fast". the biggest difference I saw mentioned was the fish from early on in the video being put in a blender.
As someone who loves the video and the song, I got extremely invested in this supposed "very first version" of the song. So I'm here to ask anyone and everyone if they have any more info about that version of it, and if it's true, then we've something really interesting in our hands.
We can do this!! please comment or message me via my profile if you have any further info about this alleged version of the video
EDIT: WE HAVE PICTURE PROOF THAT THIS EXISTS!!!! I am trying to see if i can find the full video
These are screenshots from the supposed very first version
It easily has to be All Your Lies!!! Every morning in the car and I just know that Iām going to have a great day!!!
I think I would have liked to have heard Chris sing with Scott Weiland one time. Or Gavin Rossdale.
