Any Canadian tour dates?

Has anyone heard any rumours of Pearl Jam coming to Canada this year? Was planning on travelling to the US to see them but I’m tempted to cancel that trip in light of the political climate.

Can Eddie still write songs like Alive or Better man?

Billy Corgan said he can write songs like cherub rock or 1979 in 5 minutes if he wants but 'just chooses not to'.

So can Eddie recreate legendary banger songs like the ones from the 90s? Or does he choose not to?

Ten Collection set

I recently purchased this Ten vinyl collectors box set. It’s fabulous but unfortunately is missing the Unplugged DVD, Ten Redux CD, Ten CD…and the heartbreaker…the Momma-Son cassette tape. I’ve scoured eBay and other sites to try to replace those components, but no joy. Does anyone know if these were ever sold separately? The cassette tape seems to be the unicorn.

PJ and Politics

Just wondering if some of you all STILL think Pearl Jam is too political??

My wife just downloaded her employment records from her fed job to prove, in a worst-case scenario, that she is/was employed. Apparently the muskrat has access to federal employee data and pay at this moment???

Fuck Trump.

(Totally fine if this post is deleted-worthy)

Fuck Musk.

Help required

Hi y'all, names Andy I need some help. Close friend of mine passed away recently and I'm trying to find a song, it was one of his fav songs by pearl jam, the memories are a bit of a blur, I apologise on advance. All I remember is that it's a rare song, the video includes a dude with dreadlocks song on the street, involves the ocean and some how butterfly's are connected. I realise this is a long shot, but Pearl jam was the soundtrack to our friendship. We were lucky enough to see Pearl Jam play in Leeds l, ammmmazing gig

Thanks in advance

Appreciate you all

Why did Pearl Jam play new songs so early in live sets?

Pearl Jam is the only band I know that ever played loads of new material in shows years before it was on albums, instead of keeping new songs more secret until the official release.

Think of Vitalogy and how most of those songs were performed in early 1994, 9 months before the record, and some even in 1993. A few No Code songs were played only months after Vitalogy. Brain of J a full 3 years before Yeild. This seems to have slowed down with Binaural.

First, are there other bands that played new album songs early like this?

Second, for any fans back in the 90s, did this ruin the excitement of new albums at all? Because it wasn't just like playing a new single or something it was performing deep cuts live--not to mention recorded off high quality soundboards for bootlegs.

New music tease

Matt just posted a sample of something on his Instagram story. Is this a new song the boys have been working on? Apparently they recorded some stuff whilst on tour here in Oz.

Different taste in music

Whose partner, spouse, significant other does not like Pearl Jam?

Mine actively dislikes them and mocks them regularly.

Her loss. But would have been nice to share some of PJ love - shows, albums, etc.

Anyone else?

What is your personal Golden Age of PJ Fandom?

Not to be confused with "What is Pearl Jam's Golden Era". I'm asking about fan experience. What span or moment of being a fan epitomozes the experience for you?

For me, it has to be the Yield and Binaural time frame. I was a fan early but stopped listening around Vitalogy. In college, Yield fell in my lap randomly and I gave it a spin bc "hey I used to like these guys". That opened the PJ floodgates for me. With broadband internet, I was able to start listening to live performances I'd bever heard before (thanks Five Horizons dot Com!). It was discovery after discovery for me. I hit my first PJ show in 98,another in 2000,then 6 in 2003. When i think of love shows, the feel and sound of those boots and early 00s shows are what I always think of. My fondest memories are from that period.

Let's hear yours!
