Pls I need recommendations
I was wondering what you guys think about what kind of pickups I should use on my electric guitar. I play music similar to Green Day and My Chemical Romance (yes I know, neither are grunge bands, but I figured you guys could still help me.) I saw somewhere that HSS sounds the best for this genre?
Introducing SONG WARS where as voted by you guys, you all pick the best songs off the respective album and by the end of the week the votes will be tallied and the results, order and winner will be revealed.
What's a better way to start this series of events than to start with one of the most beloved and influential records of all time: Nirvana's legendary 1991 sophomore album, Nevermind!!!
(The original form was acting weird and glitched out on me so I had to start over)

This sat on my desk for 15 years. Now it sits in a cabinet.
we talk so often about that iconic 90-94 era but not as often about that '95-97 period where grunge, while still popular, was on its last legs in terms of pop culture and rock radio dominance. Even with the scene imploding after Kurt's death, there were still some fantastic records that came out in grunge's twilight years
Honorable mentions:
Babes in Toyland - Nemesisters
Mudhoney - My Brother the Cow
STP - Tiny Music
Days of the New - Self-Titled/Yellow Album
Silverchair - Freakshow
Dont know where to ask but hopefully someone here can help me out
My top 3:
Rowing
Day I Tried to Live
Slaves and Bulldozers
Helped me remember how I felt about Pearl Jam a million years ago.

No one is talking about this masterpiece!
One of the most under appreciated 90s rock bands, Nada Surf. This album in particular is a gem of my late teens, I never see any talk about it.
We can't see all the ppl in the video, angle not big enough. Also sound quality is not too good. But anyways, there is a drummer, guitarist, bassist and singer. Do we all match each others' level/talent? Can each get honest feedback?
randomly showed up in my spotify and they’re really good but have less than 1k monthly listeners and i can’t find anything about them online, anyone know anything about them? highly recommend this song as well
Have it on cassettes and cd, but finally got more tad vinyl.
Local store didn't get any so ordered infrared (2024) the next day.
Inhaler a 2021 rsd but got sealed online long after.
8 way the pesto 2016 repress.
My fav 3 tad albums. Weirdly don't like salt lick or gods balls. Maybe need to relisten.
Personally I always thought Live was more Alt but has some Grunge aspects to it, what do you guys think?
