I decided to make my own mailing list since i’ve seen a few posts here about one! I thought its a great idea especially when i have nothing to send but i’m in the mood to write people!! If you want to be added to my mailing list please fill out the form here!

Hello! Today I offer you some cards from my stash that I can't really send to anyone because of their specific and somewhat delicate themes. So I'm making an offer just for them, as to avoid sending them to someone who would not appreciate them!

I have:

8 cards with artwork showcasing catholic themes

2 mild NSFW cards showing artistic nudity (like Greek statue nudes and stuff like that)

1 "ugly" (at least by my own standards) painting cards.

If interested, please comment and specify which category you're interested in! It is also worthy of note that all the cards but one are more or less vintage, as I inherited them from my late grandfather who was a huge collector of cards back in his days.

Ok, my unpopular opinion...the beach is overrated. It's pretty to look at but the sand everywhere, getting wet then dry, how many bodies are in the water with me? Just not my first choice for a vacation.

Even so, I found some Myrtle Beach Postcards at an estate sale so I need to send them out to someone who actually likes the beach. Thought it would be fun to include another unpopular opinion of mine on it. Going to do 3.

When I spoke to my grandma on the phone today, the topic of mail came up and she let me know she has every letter/card I've sent her since I was a little girl in a special box. She went on to reminisce about some old penpals and how told me how exciting it was to get mail from across the country and even the world.

I think she would be absolutely tickled to get some fun surprise mail. She's my favorite person in the world, my and my brother's rock of pure and judgement free love and support. I'd love to bring her some extra smiles.

Some of her likes: she loves birds (humming birds and cardinals are her favorites), flowers (morning glories, petunias, any pretty blue, purple or pink flowers), all animals (especially dogs), trees (cherry blossoms, bonsai trees, any trees blooming for the spring and fall leaves), turquoise, vibrant colors, rainbows, the Hobbit/Lord of the Rings, and reading. She LOVES traveling (though she can't do much herself anymore), history, and learning about new places, so she would absolutely adore any sort of postcards of fun places you've traveled to with stories about where you've visited.

Nothing religious (especially bible verses) please.

If you need a writing prompt, I know she'd absolutely love to hear stories about where you're from, your favorite travel stories, your favorite traditions (could be regional, family, or with friends), or the last thing that made you smile.

I'll have the cards sent to my PO box and send them to her, so include your username somewhere on the envelope/postcard so I can post a thank you!

After a year of looking I got a PT job again, I’m going to be a receptionist / medical assistant at a podiatry office. It’s a very small office with me, a doctor & his actual medical assistant. I think I’m the first clerical person. The doctor is already listening to me & asking my perspective on things. I think it’ll be a great opportunity.

But being me I refuse to focus on the good. I’m a pessimist. I’m requesting cards of your worst job experience ever. Was it the job itself? Was it a customer that made you hate it? Bad manager? Tell me the worst of the worst. Congratulations will be accepted too!

The weather hasn't improved at all; it has actually gotten worse: all 4 seasons in one day - for real. Snow, sun, rain/hail, sun again, hail -rinse and repeat. There is a saying here: Der April macht was er will (April does whatever it wants) and it is so very true *sigh* Here's hoping May starts warming up and the sun shines longer than 5 minutes a day, lol

So, some of you may have seen my post on r/RAOc_meta sub that I’ve been in a very bad car accident a few days ago and am pretty banged up so some cards are going to be delayed going out for a few weeks.

Well, also in the accident with me was my mom and she is going to have to be in a rehab facility for a while after she gets discharged from the hospital. She’s in a ton of pain and is feeling very down about the long weeks of recovery ahead for her.

I almost never make requests, but I made one for her during the pandemic for her birthday and she loved the cards so much I thought she might like some get well/encouragement cards for her room at the facility. I don’t have an address for that yet so cards can be sent to me and I will bring them to her.
