I am 22yo and I spend a lot of time in front of the computer (sometimes the full day). The skin below the eye started having purple/ black circle and it is like “sucked back” (I’m new to skincare so I have no idea of the proper terms :) ) Which budget eye cream would you advice?
I've been using the Urea Repair moisterizer for very dry skin by Eucerin with 5% urea for a couple of years and it's been a real life saver for my skin, especially during winter. Unfortunately I'm all out and I've been trying to buy more for the last few months without any luck. I can't find any info on it being discontinued but I can't find it in any shops, online or b/m, except from some sketchy sies with bad revews.
Does anybody have any recommandations for an alternative? My face needs a lottt of moisture. Situated in Norway.
Edit: I am in Denmark

Everyone that is interested in skincare knows that strong Retinol is the most effective product to prevent aging skin, but in Scandinavia you have to have a prescription to get it. I don’t have issues with acne so I highly doubt I’d get a prescription, but I really want to try medical grade Retinol for preventable measures.
Is there a site anyone could recommend when it comes to ordering this cream without prescription? I live in Sweden!
I started using The Ordinary’s Niacinamide about 3 months ago, and it cleared up my breakouts in DAYS. I fell in love with it almost immediately. But it gives me red, splotchy patches of skin when I use it, even when I dilute it with a light moisturizer, as the bottle suggests. I want to try another brand/formula of Niacinamide for acne, but I’m relatively new to Finland, and I buy most of my products from Apteekki, which is pretty limited. I’m not sure where to shop or which brand is best.
TLDR: Do you have any favorite Niacinamide products, and where do you buy them?
I heard it is good for acne but i once mentioned it to a derma and she said like "No wtf that's way too strong".
I just wanna look good... I'm so tired of this, so many years wasted because of acne.
Hi y’all. Has somebody ever tried ordering Tretinoin online and have it successfully sent to Norway?
I’ve bought this Lyft ice cool and I want to know if it’s bad for us that breakout from time to time
Hi, I’ve never really used a Sunscreen I mean I’ve used moisturisers with SPF but I’m looking for a sunscreen that’s suitable for slightly acne prone skin.
Should be added that I want to use it now during winter time so what do you guys recommend? I see sooooo many different recommendations on other posts that I don’t even know which one to get
Got a Maria Nila conditioner recently and it does wonders. So I was thinking of testing multiple ones. The one I have also smells super good [something I don't usually care about] and leaves the hair super soft.
So I'm wondering if anyone's tested these already? Which ones made the cut? thanks
my skin is so dry all year long and gets really itchy when it's dry. i'm currently using cetaphil moisturizing cream which i like but i need something more hydrating for the winter. does anyone know a good super hydrating lotion or body oil for very dry skin?
I know that CF is not written on most packages but I was wondering if any of the products are tested on animals or sold in China?
Any insight on this would be appreciated.
I've met with three dermatologists hoping that they'd be able to help me to cope wth my skin it jsut seems like doctors want you in and out as fast as possible. It takes too long, and they have zero incentive to actually give a damn about patients.
(The reason for me not caring about their recommendations is because they also gave me some very alarming advice, like that I should keep my skin as dry as possible for example, not in relation to the stuff they prescribed me). Like having strong steroids, like elokon and then recommending fat free creams. They put me on antibotic treatment for on my face last spring but did nothing for acne that they for some reason wanted to "treat" first before my skin, despite my skin at the time was flared up. I am no specialist but it seems backwards to treat acne first when the skin barrier is fucked.
Skin has been so severe lately for months, worse than ever and I am so mentally and physically drained. I am now reading everythng I can to do something. I've tested and tried different methods some creams from the pharmacy and so on.
I have been recommended by family to call a private skin doctor and making an appointment, but I'm scared of the (eventual) cost(s). Is there some discount for people under 20? I have just turned 18.
I’m 33 years old and I have dry skin. I’m looking for a good anti aging night cream. I’m living in Sweden, any tips are appreciated
I'm a afab person with vitiligo in my 30s and I don't know anyone else with vitiligo up in Scandinavia. Is there anyone here with it that could recommend products for vitiligo dry, itchy skin? Any advice at all is good, be it products, diet or habits to work on building.
Thank you for any replies and comments!
Hey everyone! Just moved to windy, windy Denmark not too long ago and I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for a good moisturiser that is going to protect my skin form the wind and the cold during the upcoming months. I have pretty sensitive skin that gets red easily + almost everything clogs my pores... so something preferably fragrance free and not too thick but still hydrating! Thanks! :)
Hey!
What's the best affordable non-comedogeni cleanser out there? I have tested cerave and cetaphil and my skin doesn't like them.
Firstly, what's the difference between the retinil and tretinoid, what to look for when buying a product (serum, oil or cream and what percentage) and does it make a difference if you get it in a regular drug store or a pharmacy ?
I've also read that it can make your face lose fat pads especially under your eyes ? That would counter-intuitive, right ? Can it change your eye shape ? Kind of worried about this as my eyes are my favorite thing about my face I guess.
There have also been reports that accutane or retinol (again, what's the difference exactly ?) can make slight changes to your nose. I would love this honestly as I have slight irregularities that bother me. Even it doesn't work, I wanna give it a try. What product should I get for this issue ?
I really appreciate the help.
So, basically. Very few moisturisers intended for the face some in larger packaging than 50 ml. That’s not a lot! I also have a strong preference for things that come with some sort of pump. Cerave cream is finally available in Europe with a pump now, but other than that there seem to be few options out there. It feels so wasteful to keep buying puny little tubes almost every month.
So… bigger sizes that come with a pump. Anyone got ideas?
Edit: I don’t need advice on how much moisturiser to use or how to layer ingredients, lol.
Hey.
I have really oily skin and i read that i need to use a moisturizer that are oil free and non-comedogenic.
I found aco spotless daily moisturiser it says it's oil free but is it non-comedogenic aswell? With that i mean it won't clog my pores.
Do you have any other aco spotless daily moisturiser who are oil free and non-comedogenic.
Thanks.
Hello ladies & gents. I’m currently on the hunt for <3 tretinoin <3 and I live in Sweden. I’ve gotten acnatac but since it contains antibiotics I don’t wanna use it.
Please!!! Help a girl out
Hi fellow skincare enthusiasts! I'm an MSc in marketing student, passionate about skincare, and I'm actually writing my master's thesis on that subject and KOL marketing. I'm looking for people who share the same passion as me to answer my questionnaire. I would truly appreciate your help. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. Thank you very much! 😊
Hey!
I have really oily skin and suffer from pustules. I'am looking for Oil-free/non-comedogenic cleancer really gentle on the skin.
But most important it's Oil-free/non-comedogenic.
Thanks
Dear all,
A bit of a different question, but it is still generally appearance-related. I moved to Sweden last year and am having some issues communicating to the employees at the apoteket about what I need. I even shared pictures with them but these employees are just too young and too confused to follow me. I wear contact lenses and I need an affordable cleaning, preserving solution and wetting solution for my lenses (the whole deal). I am all out and need it all asap, I am wearing my glasses now, while my lenses are stored in the leftover solution (I brought it all from my home country but I am all out now). Any recommendations for specific products? I need to be as direct as possible, I tried all the apoteket in town but to no avail.
This is so hard because I have so many favorite drugstore brands, but the ones I've consistently use are CeraVe and Garnier.
Other than yesstyle because it takes so long and also the tax :(. Or a similarly good moisturizer for barrier repair? Dr Jart did nothing for me
