Is it just me, or is trying to hyperlink urls in the Welcome Message no longer working on Desktop? Haven't tried on Mobile yet.
Previously, the standard markdown with [text](link) worked fine, but now it's automatically removing the hyperlinks with no warning?
Is this a bug, and is there a way around it? Or just another amazing "feature" addition to the beloved and necessary Reddit Redesign this year?
Also, it seems like there's a hard cap on the length of the Welcome Message now, even though it says there's 4700 characters remaining, the Welcome Message seems like it's always truncated down to 300? Again, bug or "feature"??
I've been complimented several times on different occasions by different members of my sub for doing a great job running the sub. But there are always those bitter people who don't like it when their posts/comments get removed, or they simply just don't like me (the moderator) for reasons I don't know.
The bitter people downvote only my comments and posts specifically. It annoys me. Some days I feel like I'm getting disrespected for doing this volunteer job. I want to get another co-moderator but last time I tried, I got a very toxic person, who is possibly one of the people who keep downvoting me.
How should I handle this problem when some days I just take it personally?
Desktop.
I want to allow posts from verified users only on my subreddit using a user flair system, currently I'm assigned my approved users user flairs that contain emojis. Can you help me configuring the automod code that I need to use to be able to do that?! Thank you

Does anyone know if there's a limit to the number of scheduled posts you can have pending? I recently scheduled quite a few (about 40, plus we have 3 regular recurring posts) and now when I try to create more recurring posts, they appear to save but don't show up anywhere in the list of scheduled posts.
Any ideas on why? I use desktop for this type of work.
Thanks
Edit: I checked the numbers and currently have 55 scheduled posts and 3 recurring scheduled posts.

I created a subreddit sandbox to test some new automoderator rules.
I want a way to automatically copy new posts (not comments) to the subreddit sandbox when they are created in the main sub. (Crossposting would be an option but it's only available for public or restricted subreddits and it would not be transparent to ussers of the main subreddit.)
If I am a moderator of both subreddits, is there an automated way to copy new posts from one subreddit to another when the posts are created? This would not be for existing or old posts, only new posts. Copying comments or tracking them is not necessary.
Is there a built-in tool for this, or even something external? I am on desktop. Thank you.
Basically for each user flair, how many users have chosen it
Is it possible via some script or some bot? Obviously can't do it manually

Ok before anyone flames me I just don’t have an advanced post controls nor and only a content and regulations area not the cc on ios
Hi everyone,
I’m planning to create a subreddit and grow its community with engaging content. Once the community becomes active and sizable, I want to monetize it by offering sponsored posts to relevant brands.
I have a few questions:
Is this approach allowed as per Reddit’s rules?
Has anyone here successfully earned through sponsored posts in their subreddit? If so, what tips would you share?
Any advice or guidance on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

If I were to approve a new moderator but set all the permissions to off, what could they still do? I am thinking that turning on permissions one by one might be useful when training someone who has never moderated before. (Desktop)
Our sub has a popular Contributor, let's call her "User A". Also involved is a stranger to the sub, User B. User B posts a lot of image content to both her profile and to other NSFW subs
User A crossposted a profile post of User B into our sub. User B complained in comments and a free-form report, that User A didn't have her consent.
Personally, our gut reaction is that everyone on reddit releases the rights to their content when they hit the Post button. And we should (gently) tell User B to STFU.
We can't find anything in the UA, the Conrent Policy, or the Mod CoC that supports User B directly. Indirectly, of course, there is "Respect the Human".
Thoughts?
Someone has been making multiple posts on my sub for months every time I ban them they make a new account using the same fake pictures of a woman who is not the person they’re claiming to be. I use IOS and this is my first time moderating a sub alone. Any way to report or ban their IP?
Hi lead mod here at r/quittingkratom. An old mod linked a post to a new user guide and I need to remove on of the linked posts in it entirely. The info is controversially dangerous and I want it off the site.
It’s the Wim Hoff Method link and the post it links to. I’ve removed all I can via mod tools but need help to please remove the rest please as the poster was a mod and is gone now.
Post is located at:
Need this entirely removed from site. Including the title, I’ve removed the rest.
Also need the link to it on this post removed as well from our new user guide:
I use both the app and desktop and old.Reddit.com to moderate our community.
Thanks.
Have tried, but failed.
We really need an automod to remove comments from users with flairs "parent" or none when they comment on posts flaired for ECE Professionals Only. Could anyone help??

A user told me to submit a Mod COC report on a sub that was created solely to harass and attack an individual but how can I make that report if I can't share the link to the sub? And when I tried to find the sub in cognito mode, it didn't show up. How do I even submit a Mod COC? I need to report the sub as a whole. Reporting each post and comment does no good.
When I was given the answer to do the MOD COC report, the sub wasn't private. Now it is.
I hope I make sense. And I'm sorry if I'm posting this to the wrong sub. It didn't make sense to post it anywhere else. I'm using android app.
(iOS) It says it has like 500 views, but no uniques. I can guarantee I did not log in 500 times, and I’m pretty sure the one other person didn’t either, so why?
Is it counting views in general or members online?
I turned off all filtering settings in mod settings for the subreddit. I also set myself as approved user. My posts still get automatically deleted from my own subreddit.
I'm out of ideas.
I'm using desktop on chrome.
Title, I’m on iOS.
It’s not showing up unless you type the full subreddit name, and when I post on it, the post isn’t showing up in “new” for a few hours.
This isn’t an issue in the other subreddit I created, and it doesn’t happen with any other subreddits I’m part of.
How can i change it?

J’utilise iOS et ça serait utile
(Android) I made one of the worst subreddits on this platform and I want some mods that can basically replace me. The sub is at like 13K people and I can't really keep up with the spam. How do I find new mods who will be responsible and keep the sub from being banned for spam and stuff?
Android,ios,desktop,etc
the sub i help mod is getting an influx of modmail involving minimum comment karma required to post
i asked the other mods and even the owner of the sub. none of us changed anything so we're all confused why people are getting a message of "minimum comment karma"
Desktop and Android: I've done everything that reddit guides have told me but doesn't seem to do much. Is the answer patience or what because I've seen subreddits grow to 1k people in just a few days while I'm stuck under 10. r/Idea_Suggestions r/GoofyAhhFrames r/MemePoint
Blah Blah Blah It’s All In The Title I’m On IOS
I am using android, and am pretty sure iphone would be the same, but mobile users have to have text posts on for mods to be able to use it.
We are an image-based sub and text posts are only for making announcements/posting updates. Is there any way to disable this for nonmods while still making it possible for mods other than automod?
Hello!! Is there a way to have something other than the default message in the recipient's invite when they get invited to my community? I use desktop and IOS.
Platform: Reddit app (iOS)
Hi, I moderate a growing community of ~30k people. For various reasons, we get a lot of comments that violate either our rules or those of Reddit.
I’m trying to use the “Unmoderated” filter of the Queues tool (Mod Tools -> Queues; filters: “Unmoderated” & “Comments Only”) to review all new content. It works fine for posts, but not comments. When I select “all content,” only posts show up, and when I select “comments only,” nothing shows up at all.
Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix this? Is this a problem other mods are also having, or does the “Unmoderated” filter show comments like it’s supposed to on other subreddits? Does the tool work properly on desktop & mobile web (i.e. only broken on the iOS app)?
If anyone has a solution or even just answers as to why this is happening/if others are experiencing the same thing, I would hugely appreciate it. TIA!
Hi am on desktop and mobile and am new to everything trying to build a friendly community for people in my area to make friends and hangout any advice on how to moderate and help it grow
