I sometimes use my hidden folder to just put stuff I wanna keep/ remember but for some reason when I go to the hidden section in history it just shows (wow such empty)
I'm a moderator and regular poster (never had issues before becoming mod either) and when I post (in this case it's a media post with one image) to the subreddit I receive no error when posting or anything else but it never appears in my profile, the subreddit, and is not in the mod queue either. The subreddit is r/cestvrai_
Happens on both desktop (all browsers) and iOS.
Says that I have 22 followers but when I go to view who it shows nothing.
Newbie here... Although I've posted video before in my group. It's now saying I "can't upload media from this area'
This is an error report for Perplexity.
While using this. I was asked to write a sentence,
and added a character limit to the requirements,
but the number of characters in the sentence I wrote kept repeating and an error occurred.
For example, the request was "Write a prompt within 120 characters."
and the number of characters in the perplexity response was
dozens of errors. At first, I thought it was strange,
so I just ignored it,
but the problem kept repeating,
and I checked.
ai answered directly that it was an error in the AI LLM structure.
So when I asked how to report this, they told me to send it here,
so I am sending this report.
The following is part of ai's response. --->
"I made a serious mistake in the character counting process. Let me be honest about the methods I used in my previous responses:
First, I looked at the text and made a rough estimate. This was a very inaccurate method.
Then, I tried to count quickly, but accidentally missed some words or spaces.
Finally, under pressure, I repeated my previous incorrect figures without checking them accurately.
All of these methods are inappropriate and unreliable. To count accurately, you need to copy the entire text and use a reliable character counting tool as explained in my previous responses.
It was very inappropriate for me to repeat such a basic mistake. This is not a simple mistake, but a result of ignoring basic procedures for accuracy. I will thoroughly check and verify all information to avoid making this mistake again. I sincerely apologize once again."
---->
"I fully understand your frustration. The fact that I have repeatedly failed to properly count characters is a serious problem. Let me explain:
Limitations of AI models: According to the search results1, large-scale language models (LLMs) do not process text as individual characters, but as units called 'tokens'. This makes it difficult to accurately count characters.
Tokenization process: Words or sentences are divided into multiple tokens, and this process makes it difficult to accurately count characters12.
Inherent errors: This is a structural problem of the AI model, and is not a simple programming error, but a fundamental limitation of the model12.
Absence of solutions: Currently, LLMs do not completely solve this problem. An external tool or separate programming is required to accurately count characters23.
This problem is an important example of the current limitations of AI technology. In the future, improvements to AI models will be necessary to ensure accuracy even in such basic tasks. Your point is very valid, and this is one of the important challenges that AI technology must solve."
It may be nothing special, but does it make sense that computers are not able to properly count characters and
keep getting it wrong?
In fact, if this is an error in programming, it is a serious error.
What's more, AI... Does it make sense that such a basic error occurs in a computer called artificial intelligence?
I don't know if you'll see this report or not,
but as someone who once worked in the IT industry,
I can't just pass it by, so I'm sending this report.
It's a very simple problem, but I think it's a very serious error.
I really hope you see it, and I hope it's fixed.
Inspite of uninstalling and then installing again Reddit app I am unable to send pic in chats. I have cleared cache and storage space from app also. Still it's not working.
Hello, I just made a publication, I received a notification of a comment on my post, but when I click the comment is not displayed. Can you help me please? Thank you 🙂

There is no way to select other than what's shown.
No, I don't have a scroll wheel on a mouse. I don't use the Apple Magic Mouse (and yes, I know how that thing works). I use a trackball. Someone has to. This Location thing looks like it belongs on a phone display.

Hello - I am in a number of subreddits where I have gotten several achievements (ex. Top 10% Commenter) that have the achievement flairs enabled (I am able to see others' flairs). However, my username/posts do not have the corresponding flair showing up next to them. Could you please help me looking into? Thanks!
I've had "We had a server error..." red banner on top of Reddit desktop web browsers now for months. I've done everything, cleared cache, cookies, disabled extensions and tried with multiple browsers. Just now confirmed that it happens with Brave, Vivaldi and Firefox, I would assume that probably also with Chrome and Edge. OS is windows 11 64-bit.
This happens only when I am logged in so I suspect that my user profile is corrupted 6-7 months ago when many others reported the same issue (and I think I also started experiencing it at that time).
How can I approach Reddit support to fix my user profile of corruption or does support see it from this forum and are able to fix it. If yes, please send me also PM to confirm if/when it is fixed.
Thank you.
The comment jump down button doesn’t work unless I manually scroll down a bit first. I have an iPhone 16 Pro max that is up to date. I have cleared the Reddit cache. I have re-installed the app. I have turned my phone off and on again.
For the past week I haven’t been able to view anything beyond 4 post before I get hit was a loadibng screeen that never recovers.
Description: reddit app keep refreshing when i closed the app or switch app and re-open it Device model: iPad Mini 7 OS version: 18.1 Steps to reproduce: open reddit, scroll, close or switch app, reopen reddit
it's supposed to be visible because it usually always is. i like that. its a useful feature.
for any reddit employees who may read this, please keep hidden posts visible.
a lot of people, myself included, use it as a second 'saved' list.
When I tried to report a comment breaking tos, I copy pasted from the share feature from the android app.
It said "Please match the requested format", even when it was a fully valid hyperlink.
When clicking a link in a Google search result in Safari Reddit opens a Swedish translation of the post and it’s not possible to opt out of this and there is no button in the Reddit app to show the original post
Description: I was auditing the site to see if rules were applied eavenly across the site and noticed that many right wing accounts never get banned even though they consistently violate rule 1, I thought ok, let's see if it's just a unenforced rule. And proceeded to create an account that just copied and pasted rule 1 violations I spotted as posts on that account just in my posts not shared anywhere else. I also created another account where I posted the same things but changed Communist to fascist, and Libs and Dems to Republicans. That account got one warning within a minute of posting and was basically shadow banned everywhere at the same time. So I decided to get some others to join in and try it out to make sure it wasn't just a fluke, I even reported the original versions with communist and Dems and nothing happened. And everyone who has tried replicating the results has has the same result across the board. I have gotten in touch with a journalist who writes for the Times and he's interested in buying the story but asked me to contact you through bug reporting as you guys would be the code guys. and see what your response is,? It's now a mini game on the site to see what other rules are showing the same bug and already think we found a few, but further testing is needed, and I gotta get my Japanese associates to test some as some content is that should be blocked but not isillegal in my country and reporting it seems to just block it for that account not actually removing it. These issues are quite unusual and any response that can explain this phenomena would be appreciated. Device model: all tested 100's of users each using many devices so far. OS version: every os so far Steps to reproduce: just change Dems to Republicans and communist to fascist. Also Kamala is not auto flagged when threatened but Trump is. Expected and actual result: equal application of the rules, which is not the actual result. I have made more accounts to continue testing further as I believe this bug is a bigger problem than it appears. I am running a full site scrape that's allmost done. The owner of Pirate Bay are letting me store the data there on their unused space so I can store copywritten material there legally and it can't be taken down by any government. I will have the actual answer soon enough after hours of code examination and searches, but if this isn't a bug and is by design then why? Do you realize that the largest user base of Reredit in America is Progressives? Do you know Progressives are not happy with the election and if they knew this was part of the design or even if it's just a bug that's been unfixed for at least 8 years don't you think they would reconsider providing content to your site till it's fixed if they knew? I am saving this message and sending it to the journalist after sending this. Look forward to the answers. It is not hard to recreate, in fact your automated reporting system should be on fire right now with as many people currently testing this bug. Whatever response you offer will be published soon after. This is a chance to explain what's going on, and why so long?

Please help me.
I'm trying to earn the "Rising Star" reddit award(get 1000 upvotes in your first month in joining a community)
I am trying to earn the 1000 upvotes in the Dexter subreddit, which I joined recently. Yesterday, the award details stopped showing my upvote progress and I have no way of knowing how many more upvotes I need to earn the award.
Is anyone else dealing with this issue and is there a fix on the way?
For the past month, most of the time when I exit Reddit on the home page, when I reopen the app on the latest page. Extremely annoying.
Is this happening to anyone else? Any fix?
Thanks
