I noticed my run flats real low. Went to put air and I noticed they had lost about 30% of pressure filled with regular air. Would love to hear your experience with these tires. The sensor also did not tell me they needed to be refilled 🤔! I like to keep mine at 45 psi front, 41 psi rear.

They do infact add 25 BHP (and a properly fitted headlight trim improves aerodynamic co-efficient)

Hi there, I am thinking about MINI for my very first car purchase as a young adult. I am drawn to MINI but one of my biggest concerns is reliability in my car purchase. The last thing I would want is to get a car I love but then pay thousands in unforeseen repairs. My budget allows for me to afford somewhere in the 2015-2017 range. Is it a bad idea to purchase a MINI that is almost 10 years old? Does anyone have a MINI from this era that they can testify their experience and give advice? I would really appreciate it!

Does anybody know of any non-OEM options for replacing the Harman Kardon main front speaker in an R50? Paying EUR 110 for a speaker of that quality is sticking in my throat a bit!

This is in a vacant parking lot near my house; they've got the entrance roped off and a guard standing there. There's a small course set up with cones, looks like there is some kind of test-drive event with the new models. It was pouring rain so I didn't get out to ask what was up. All the cars have GB license plates.

Interesting whatever it is, if the rain slows later I might head back down there and nose around.

Hi so I have a F54 cooper clubman and I want to get an upgraded exhaust such as a twin pipe butterfly exhaust as I live in quiet area so I can't just get it straight piped and would like the choice between the 2.

Anyway as the cooper model only has one cutout on the bumper for an exhaust I'm wondering if the clubman s or jcw bumper would fit on if I just swapped them or if the models are incompatible.

Or if the best bet would be to just cut my own hole on the othersode of the bumper.

My clubman is a RHD petrol 1.5L 2016

I recently brought my daughter a 2002 R50 to learn to drive in, it was a low dollar, high km example, but is very tidy, it’s been painted at some stage but whoever done it obviously cared enough to do a pretty tidy job, I’ve been driving it myself for around 5 months now and I absolutely love the bloody thing, I’ve owned an assortment of cars but nothing makes me smile like that stupid red mini😂😂😂 so… Friday evening the gearbox whine I had planned to fix in a few weeks beat me to the punch and decided to leave the chat, anyway, what level of lunatic must I be, planning a six speed swap on a 22 year old car that probably should be sent to scrap? Is it a mini thing??? 😝😝😝🇬🇧

For some time now my adjustable mirrors in 2013 R56 are not working, flipping the switch does nothing. I checked the fuse, replaced the switch, checked connections to the mirrors(by removing whole mirror). I suspect that it might be a problem somewhere in drivers door because ambient light or whatever it’s called is also not working in driver side door(working everywhere else). Do you know if harness inside the door is one piece or maybe there is a part that could have gotten disconnected and is responsible for mirrors and ambient light? Any advice would be appreciated

I’m thinking of replacing this myself as the part is only $90 vs $1200+ at mini 😩 How hard is the task? Understand having to remove the headliner of the car which seems like the hardest bit. I’m fairly handy in terms of fixing stuff. I’ve replaced a condenser, fan on a car. Thanks.

A mouse got into my cabin. Had quite the camping adventure under a car seat in back. While I've fixed my bad habits of leaving food in the car, I'd like to also seal it off from this happening again, if possible. Anyone have this happen to them and/or have ideas on where the little bugger got in? TIA again..

My power socket went out. At first glance, I don't see any fuses burned out, but I'm also unclear if any of these icons on the panel door translate to the power socket. I'm working my way through the manual, but nothing obvious there yet.

I recently purchased a used 2007 MINI Cooper S and after driving it home, I decided to change the oil. After I completed the oil change, I brought the car off the stands and went to double check that the oil level was where it needs to be, and I noticed that the hood lever no longer had any resistance. I provided a picture of the latch in the open position because I think that grey cable is torn but I didn’t look at how it was before, so I cant be sure. What can I do about this?

I found a JCW hardtop part out with the full JCW body kit and I want to install the body kit on my convertible. Both cars are a 2013, and even the same color. I know the front bumper and side skirts fit, but not sure about the rear bumper.

Anyone know if I can swap them?
