Keanu Charles Reeves was born on September 2, 1964, in Beirut, Lebanon. Of part-Hawaiian heritage on his father’s side, /kiˈɑnu/ translates from Hawaiian to English as “cool breeze over the mountains.”

1. Keanu Being Awesome-related posts only

• Focus on Keanu Reeves' awesomeness featuring pictures, GIFs, videos, verified facts + quotes, stories, articles

• Some content is better suited for other subreddits such as r/JohnWick, r/Matrix, r/cyberpunkgame, r/keanureeves, r/keanumemes

2. No religious or political posts

• No intense hero worship. The ideals and qualities that Keanu represents are great but he's not a god

3. No concert tix sales, merch, ads, or crypto

• This includes concert tix sales, t-shirts, books, candles, mugs, etc and direct sales links

• No Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Etsy, Redbubble, webstore links

4. Facts, quotes, and articles must be verifiable with source links

• Memes and humor posts are exempt

5. Make an effort to post quality content

• Frequent stale reposts, stale memes, recent reposts within the last 30 days, stale reposts, and posts from the Top 50 of all time will be removed

• Low-effort posts, posts that are stale and overdone, and memes in poor taste will be removed

• Posts that mock, insult, or ridicule others is not in the spirit of 'Being excellent to each other' will be removed

• Ambiguous, clickbait, sensationalist, or misleading submissions will be removed

6. No spoilers/piracy

• Intentional or careless spoiling of a movie without a spoiler tag or spoiler bars is prohibited

• Encouraging pirating content by suggestion, instruction, and/or direct links is not allowed either

7. No excessive self-promotional spam

• Fan art is welcome but if all your submissions come from your own source it is considered spam. This includes excessive self-promotion of any OC such as your art, YT channels, blogs, vlogs, social media channels, etc.

8. No petitions, polls, surveys, or calls to action

9. No cosplay

• This content is better suited for subreddits such as r/cosplay and r/cosplayers

10. No fan edited, reaction, or movie review videos

• This content is better suited for subreddits such as r/Youtubers, r/NewTubers, and r/IMadeThis

11. No AI art or deepfakes

• Posting AI art disguised as a discussion to get around the no AI art rule is not allowed either. Try 👉 r/aiArt, r/SFWdeepfakes, and r/faceswap instead

12. No scammers/Keanu impersonators and no karma farming repost bots

• Scammers, Keanu impersonators, and karma farming spam bots will be immediately banned and reported

13. No cross-posts or other subreddit posts

14. No Facebook, TikTok or Instagram links

15. Be excellent to each other

• Rediquette rules apply. Offensive, inflammatory, harmful, trolling posts and comments will result in an immediate ban
