Keanu Reeves gave a massive bonus of nearly $1 million from his paycheck to each of his VFX and post-production crew members after the success of The Matrix.
Many, if not all, VFX artists and other back-end crew members are shafted without seeing any bonus or residual after a successful blockbuster movie. Marvel (Disney) and Netflix are known to be one of the worst offenders, where artists experience "crunch culture" with horrible working conditions.
Keanu Reeves is cited as one of the few who awarded back-end and residual from his paycheck, with the crew receiving close to 1 million each.

In case you haven’t seen it, in a book, Matthew Perry said he wishes River Phoenix was still alive & instead Keanu was dead. Who TF says something like that??
