Want to show some cool pics you took at the last convention you went to? Post them here! Want to spam professional cosplay photos you stole and put on your for-profit website? DON'T POST THEM HERE! I made this community because while the cosplay subreddit has some great questions and self posts, it's 90% spam of peoples' websites, which is a bit out of hand. So while the other subreddit is still great, I hope many of you will join me here!

Hello guys, I dabbled in ""cosplay"" (I've only bought stuff online, I don't make my own, and never anything too flashy like people on here), and I was looking to invest a bit more on my next cosplay. With that said, I struggle finding someone that could make a prop for me. I'm not sure how to go about the search, so I figured I'd ask on here.
I live in Paris, so someone from there would be best. If you know someone, or someone that might know someone, please let me know!
I’m a photographer in the north east Georgia area looking for a cosplayer able to do Black Canary, and perhaps Wonder Woman for a shoot creating comic page style art. I can pay or we can trade your services for mine, which ever you’d prefer. Message me for details and samples of my work.
I plan on going to a con later this year in an armored cosplay, and im likely to be wearing it for several hours at a time. I was wondering if there was some sort of supplement I could take to prevent me from needing the bathroom for most of the day? Like, the opposite of a laxative? And if that doesn't exist, are there some common tips to make the suit/armor more bathroom-friendly? Advice is appreciated
Hello!!! I’m looking to purchase blackout contacts, but I don’t know where to get any. If anyone has any sites that are safe/reliable and affordable, please let me know! Thank you in advance :3 !
I'm asking different hobby subreddits how much they spend on their hobby so that I can make a chart comparing the cost of hobbies.
I'm trying to make my own spiderman cosplay but don't know where to get the fabric from. Any suggestions on where I can get it from.
I’m skeptical because I’m kinda depressed and bummed.Life is kinda dull and gaming is boring and don’t have any friends and just work.I have no skills but also because how I have no interest.Would it be dumb to cosplay just for the fun of it?Even if I’m not obsessed or know much about the characters I’ll be cosplaying as?
I’m looking for a hobby that isn’t just gaming.I don’t want to be dumb.A while back I wasted money on Dante jacket that’s still in my closet.I know this isn’t the place to ask for life advice but just idk I’m lazy and unmotivated in life
I am not sure I know if this question will make sense but, do you need to cosplay for the TYPE of convention? Like, would it be weird to cosplay in Renaissance attire at an anime/comic on? (I guess not if the anime or comic is Renaissance style but that's not what I mean here.)
I was wondering if it would be alright to cosplay as Raikov from MGS3 considering his uniform is pretty much 1:1 with soviet officer uniforms other than the hammer and sickle being replaced with a star on his hat. I tried to do research on this and looked for Hetalia as well since some of the characters wear similar uniforms but the only resources I could find were from over a decade ago and I'm not sure where else to look as I haven't found a definitive answer. I don't want to represent anything immoral or bad, I just like this silly character and I was hoping I could get some insight from anyone who's a bit more knowledgeable than me on this.
I am planning on making a 3ft sphere to cosplay as the moon from Majora's Mask, and was wondering if anybody had any suggestions on what/how to make the sphere? I was considering foam or paper Mache, but I was also looking for a way to have the sphere disassemble in 2 if needed for walking through doors.
Hello veryone, first of all, thanks in advance for reading.
As tittle says, i'm looking forward to dye a white wig into grey/silver, i've been looking tutorials over YOutube and so on, but there isn't like a lot going on (or maybe i didn't hit the right video yet), but most tell you how to Dye from, white, to let's say blue and it's fairly clear, but something as soft as going from white to silver/Grey isnt' showing much and i don't want to ruin a new wig.
Any pointers?
