Just want to hear your thoughts on this. He's always been dealing with injuries these past few years, but he would always make up for it with occasional outstanding performances when he is healthy. Although we recently signed him to a contract through 2026, he's 33 & noticeably regressing. We might still be able to get some value out of him (hopefully about $1-1.5 million) if we sell him within these few upcoming transfer windows, which would help us afford some younger talent. We also still have Willy Agada who's been developing decently & may be starting caliber. But should we sell him or let him stick with us till retirement?
The SSSC will be doing burgers on the griddle. We also have bottled water, soda, snacks and desserts. $5 donation or you can join the SSSC for $10 and have your food covered for 2024 season.
As much as I would want Marco coming to sporting kc. I wouldn’t mind modric either he has pass that our mids don’t have despite his age.
When do the tickets for the Tulsa game drop? Will they be on seatgeek.com since the games at CMP?

I'll be going to the game against Houston this coming weekend. I've been a long time supporter and wanted to know if there is anything special I should know before going. Thanks in advance for any info.
The attacking shortcomings are in the middle of the roster. The combo of Salloi, Pulido, Agada, Thommy, JFR, Walter, and Memo in various formations has proven formidable. Hernandez, Afrifa, and Alenis are quality depth as subs and spot starters. Below that it's definitely murky but that's that midroster stuff I was alluding to.
The defensive spine though? Radoja has his qualities, but he also has 90-minute-fitness issues and isn't the kind of 6 that's going to unlock your attack or save your defense which is what we need. He also has literally no alternative on the roster.
Fontas is clearly past it. The only redeeming quality he had was in his distribution and that has become a farce this year.
Rosero is a menace in the air but he tries too hard to be Eddie Pope when we need him to be Aurellian Collin: just destroy attacks and get the ball the fuck out of there.
Behind them is a chasm. Voloder has his moments but the bad is AWFUL. Maybe he gets better with minutes, but SKC2 minutes over last year didn't improve him much. Castellanos is the type of guy most MLS teams have as their 5th option and he's our 2nd. And Rindov is a total unknown.
Heck even our wingback situation is tenuous at best. Davis is a work in progress who has shown a high ceiling but Pierre is injury prone and has a knack for getting roasted and that's it at right back. Ndenbe was fantastic but he's probably not here much longer, Leibold is an ok depth guy but also has 90 minute fitness problems and gets caught too central or too high far too often and Bassong might as well not exist.
Would our attack get better with someone like Paintsil on the right wing or someone like Acosta at the 10 or someone like Cucho up top? 100%, but those dudes don't stop your 6 from getting cooked by a CB on a corner in the 2nd minute or your centerback from losing his mark on a ball in behind after the hour mark or your left back from not having enough gas to run down a winger in the 90th.
Point is: I think we need to focus this summer window on that part of the field. Go get a Robin Jansson but in his 20s or a Busio/prime Ilie type 6 this summer from some European club in offseason. Shore up the defensive half within this season and see if you can get hot at the right time to win a trophy then this offseason find some quality mid-roster guys all over the pitch.
Thoughts?
Attractive soccer, 1st in the league, tons of goals. KC Current are amazing and a breath of fresh air from watching Sporting KC currently..
I am now more than convinced we will not win anything of value until he does.
Without Peter, there probably is not stadium, no World Cup in KC, no four trophies in five years. But the league has passed him by. Tactics, recruiting, development. We trail everywhere.
