As the title reads I would like to daily drive this iPhone I just found. Is it best to just update to iOS 16 or should I jailbreak and preserve the OS and just live with old app versions and spoofers?

So to jailbreak an iphone, we need to find a way to the operating system such that we can escape the sandbox. And where is the operating system stored? On the ssd chips inside the Phone. normally, apps that we make have to interact with the storage through syscalls that restrict what we can access and don't let us modify the operating system. However, I have thought of a way to bypass these restrictions. You see, when our app runs, the iOS is executing our machine code, the same type of machine code that the operating system itself runs on. So, we can just find out the machine code that the iOS uses to write to storage directly, then embed that code in our app, and change the place where it writes to the place where the os is stored, and we write a custom jailbroken os. restart the phone, and it's jailbroken. i can't think of any way that the os would stop us from executing the same instructions that it does, because it would basically have to virtualize an entire cpu to check every instruction we run, which would be way to slow. someone should try this.

For the past 6 years I have been away from jailbreaking. I was really into jailbreaking from iOS 8-iOS 11 and bought some tweaks on Cydia. I recently bought a 6s with iOS 9.3.5 and jailbroke it with Kok3shi9. I tried logging into my Cydia account through Facebook. That’s what my Cydia account was connected to. Well apparently safari on iOS 9 is not compatible with Facebook. When I try to sign into my Cydia account, Cydia uses the safari browser and it says, “unsupported browser”. I type in my username and password but when I press the login button nothing happens, so I can’t sign into my Cydia account. Is there any other way to access the tweaks I paid for? They were really cool like Auxo Legacy, Auris, and Springtomize.

When I press Install it gets me to the queue and the confirm button is not active so I can't press it. What could be the problem? PS: My phone has 16 GB.

I am trying to get CCPatch13, a tweak that does not support rootless, to work on Dopamine. Alternatively, I could use a way to do a rootful jailbreak on iPhone 12 Pro / IOS 16....

I have been stuck on this for a while: CCPatch will not download on my phone because I have a rootless jailbreak. I have looked into doing a rootful jailbreak, but apparently this is not possible in the iPhone 12 Pro (at least not with Palera1n due to the phone's ARM64).

It seems Xinam1ne could have been a solution to my problem, but the API file has been taken offline.

Any help will be much appreciated :). I am new to Jailbreak and have been spending a whole afternoon on this.

I recently jailbroke an old iPad mini I pretty much just had cydia on a semi untethered on it for maybe a week or two (it died somewhere along the way forgot to charge) before I accidentally got my id locked. I started restoring the mini but the jb id has my email and phone number on it I changed my email on my main account but is it still at risk of being locked by apple? If so what do i do?
