The mire of stench is the reason I stopped playing what a fucking shit show frustrating level

I'm trying to farm the matérias for the Whirlwind Blade but the mage never spawns.

So I've killed the mage once and after reading a bit about this mechanic the mage should spawn around the map after changing zones.

Any tips?

So I didn't particularly know that the game has more than an ending. Defeated nameless, and the game is NG to me now. Is that it? Should I countinue? What's the catch here

Is only the item find of player 1 taken into account for drop rates? is the item find of the player that killed the monster used to determine drop rates? Or something else?

So I had just gotten the second brand and when I loaded the game back up I had lost 10-15 levels and got sent all the way back to the sunken keep (when I first discovered it, my npcs I put there when I first found it are gone.) I don't even have the first brand anymore...

It can't be a I didn't quit the game properly problem because I have played multiple sessions since I first discovered the sunken keep shrine.

Has anyone else had this problem? I don't suppose there is a fix to this? Or if my current save is lost a way to prevent this from happening in the future? I'm on xbox if that matters. I'm loving the game but ngl this really making me consider dropping it...

I am lvl 140 str faith, order of the betrayer, should I invest in magic to get some better damage that isn't melee.

PS I have max devotion and am willing to spend time, I just want to know if its worth it.

I am a souls fan but never checked this game out is it any good?

So, at first I believed that all gods in this game were born of light, they had a candlelit soul, different from us Saltborn, that's what that lady in the watching woods says, and she's implied heavily to be Devara. But then Jaret tells us that a god envies what a god cannot have, to be born of light. The Nameless God wishes to have a candlelit soul, yet is still Saltborn, still mortal. But Jaret makes it sound as if all gods wish to be born of light, I thought they already were? Am I making sense?

At 4:05 of this speed run, the player successful duplicates a chunk of salt repeatedly and takes himself to level 74 after beating the boss in the tutorial.

A review of the YouTube comments does not provide instruction; just frustration that the player doesn’t specify how or what they are doing.

The commentators are the devs and it does not appear that they have any idea how the player is doing this either.

Further, I went through all of the patch notes since game release and it does not appear that this has been addressed.

That all said; does anyone know how this is being done and if I can be replicated at present.

My husband and I want to play coop, we are PC exclusive

I saw the armor set you can get from this faction as well as the cool bone scythe and I'm extremely tempted to go with that faction. But I want to know if it would actually be worth it, since it's near the end of the game effectively.

I'n trying to make a build that I can kinda carry over into salt and sacrifice, and I've got two builds in mind.

Holy Scythe: Closest in damage and scaling to the scythe I have in mind, just without the debuff potential. Probably using heavy armor to allow miracles to be as cheap as possible.

Bone Scythe: Would have the debuff potential similar to the scythe I want in sacrifice, but it would end up scaling very differently, and it may not be as easy to use miracles since I would be using the light armor you get from the betrayers that pairs well with it visually.

What would everyone recommend between the two? For context, I was considering the Temporal Scythe in the sequel, hence this whole discussion.

Enjoying this game so far and started as a mage. I like the wand/sword combo it started me with. Is that a viable play style or should I be switching to a staff or something ?

Any tips for mages would be appreciated. I’m about lvl 22 right now.

Is knight a good choice for starters? Is it OP?

So basically i started mage, but without knowing that its magic build up ( not much into magic but i can live with it ). Just want to ask if characters are game changer? And out of mage and thief which one would you guys recommend ( or any ) ? Ps; i like to be light and attack always, and I neglect the shield

I've been wanting to play through this game with someone as to get Dawn medals for the cool stuff you can only get through that method. However, I've been having a hard time actually doing so. For anyone who's engaged in the co-op, do you have any tips for those who want to do so and get these online only items?

I finished first playthrough as Sage, been working on opening up the Divine Glyphs aswell. Collected all the Scythes for the NG+.

But im unsure which is best to invest? Is the conviction worth just filling, along the way for glyphs etc or? Better to go Dexterity overall?

Ive found switching up weapons to deal with bosses best. So im not sure which here works. I know Tomb thingy has Arcane scaling. So thats a given. But to keep all scythes viable both for fun and practicality.

I'm currently going for the platinum trophy, and I have most of them except for the two hunter's tool achievements. I'm only missing fine leather and the blastroar concoction. How do I farm fine leather, and what material do I need to trade to unlock the blastroar/where to get it. I have the dragon tongues needed to upgrade them.
