Something very weird just happened while I was playing Dracula X for the SNES. I was playing the first stage and trying to get the no-damage 1-up bonus, and got all the way to the end fully intact. When I beat the Cerberus, I got the last big heart and backflipped towards the end-of-level soul orb. However, when I backflipped and slid across the ground into it, the game just froze.
It doesn’t bother me too much as I can just reset, but I wanted to post this just so someone else could investigate this issue. I was playing on the bsnes emulator if that helps, but the settings I used weren’t any different from any other time I’ve played this game and I’ve never had any issues beforehand.

What a game, had me hooked from beginning to end and felt so rewarding to explore the castle. Even grinded for the Crisaegrim to basically one shot every boss. Sick game, what should I play next??
This is something that I have been wondering about lately as while I know that fans say that he was the true father of the franchise, I wanted to understand how exactly he knew how to run it so well as the games he made have very superb design.
Ok this looks much better than season 1, also Trevor would be proud - I'm watching this only because of that line.
So the lunatic church leader said the giant night creature was created by Issac. My question is when? Just off shown story line and before he met Dracula? I just don’t understand how something so powerful would be left alone in a small village as a gateway to Hell?
So I've been playing COTN for a while now and I want to ask: how to best farm for DSS? Does the luck stat affect the cards drop rates? does the luck stat even work? Which enemies even drop them?
So I feel as though I’m right at the end of the game but apparently there’s multiple endings. It would kill me to not get the best ending in the game. I don’t know what happens at the end so please don’t spoil it. I have about 92% of the map unlocked. I heard you have to capture all the souls first and I’m having a hard time, any help would be appreciated. I didn’t use a guide so I might have missed many things. Is there any comprehensive explanation to what to do or did I make my file too difficult to work with for this? Any help would be appreciated thanks!
I'm trying to get 100% completion on Dawn of Sorrow and noticed I was missing the Tombstone soul drop. No big deal, right?
I found a good exit/enter-the-room area on my way towards the ending basement area, and holy fuck, I think I may just give up or flip my desk over.
I have killed this fucking thing over 150 times in a row now without one single drop. Does it actually ever drop ANYTHING?
For my stats and setup: I'm basically shooting the 'Witch' magic bullet, then exiting the door, re-entering, rinse and repeat, over and over.
Am I missing something? Is this a bug? How am I over 150 kills and not getting a single drop?
Maybe this is a rhetorical post - or just me venting, but holy fuck, does this enemy ever drop a fucking soul - at all?
Edit: At 175 consecutive kills, I'm taking a break. This is incredibly frustrating.
All of the names that are in the Enemy List are solid and I’ve got all of the soul check marks. I also have all 6 of the abilities. The game says I only have 99.1% done… is this a bug? Is there a secret soul I’m missing?
