Welcome to /r/FrameByFrame!
This subreddit is for working and studying animators to discuss the craft that we are all passionate about. Talk about the direction of the industry, upcoming films, techniques and workflow preferences, advice and jobs.
Although we like to foster the next generation of animators, we'd like to keep questions and posts by non-animators in /r/Animation. This community is for industry professionals and students studying animation at a recognized institute or college.

I saw that in the Akira - The Animation and Coloring Process video, they convert the cel drawings to film, and I was wondering what camera they used? I can't tell if it's a multiplane camera, I'm just not sure. But it looks beautiful. Does anyone know what camera is used for anime cel animation?
Fallout vault boy fan art animation
With the new fallout tv show I thought it’d be a good idea to try make a relevant animation. I based the character off the vault boy bobble head found in the game (I know the sculpt is not that good) if you have any ideas what to animate next just say!
