Hi there! Seeking advice or tutorial links for how to create this logo animation: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/839569555533499128/
I tried creating trim paths in AE and creating nulls from the paths, but it doesn't hit the same. Wondering if there's a plugin that creates a magnetic connection between objects?
Looking for feedback on my reel I put together a short while ago. Began learning AE via YouTube and Andrew Kramer, and eventually earned a senior position at a marketing agency. Any and all critique of the reel composition and work itself is much welcomed!
Terminator 2 is one of my favorite movies, and LEGO is one of my favorite toys. I decided to combine these two things into one and show what came out of it.
What kind of design is this. I want to learn how to make stuff like this (I find it cool and intresting) but don't know what to look for in searches or even what it's called
Are there any affordable asset libraries that specifically have design files for animating? Assets that have similar styles or same characters doing different things etc? And set up to animate?
I’m starting up the animation dept at the video production company I work at. I’m stronger at the animating part than the designing. It would also be a lot quicker/ easier to have some basic design assets and then tweaking them to suit my needs.
I have used Envato but it’s not ideal. Are there sites that are essentially like a video stock library but for designs or even pre-made little animations/ scenes ? Any resources you can direct me to will be appreciated.
Hey!
I know a lot of people are trying to get into tech right now so this might seem like an odd question, but here it is. Currently I’m a web developer but I’m having trouble connecting with what I’m doing as of lately… I always loved motion graphics and I’ve been doing things on and off in my spare time but I don’t know if I’d be shooting myself in the foot if I were to change industries (because of competition in the motion graphics field and AI).
Everything I’ve done so far is mostly 2D kinetic typography, so I’m worrying I’m lacking skills and it will take me ages to catch up and by employable.
Thank you!
Is there a term for this style of music video seen below, Ghost - Call Me Little Sunshine?
There's a certain aesthetic in it I've seen before in other art and media, and I can't figure out how to refer to it. I don't so much mean the tone of the video. I more so mean how it has this paper texture smoke style, where everything is just animated motion of a bunch of solids and stills. Like it's not proper recorded video, but rather mostly a bunch of animated composites layered on each other.

Like sometimes maybe you’ll see some text that looks like it’s painted on the road itself. Or often a in sports broadcasts (especially nfl) stats will appear on a big block sign that looks like it’s actually sitting on the field.
Is there a term for this so I could look up examples?
