Recommendation needed for android pencil

I recently bought a pixel tablet and installed grapheme on it. I would like to draw on it and I've been struggling finding a pen. I'm looking for something decent that wouldn't cost mean kidney.

Any recommendations?

IPad recommendations for Digital Artists

Hi - I am not sure if this is the correct place to post, but my kid is an aspiring thirteen year old digital artist. She currently uses Clip Studio Paint, and I would like to buy her a new ipad in order to encourage her art. Can anyone recommend which Ipad and Sylus to purchase? One that will give her room to grow but not be too much more than what she actually needs?

Thanks!

New to Digital Art, questions regarding printing and DPI (sorry if stupid :))

Hey guys, so I have recently gotten into digital art, but some things are kind of confusing to me. I will just list all of the question i have, though i have the feeling they are mostly connected one another (sorry if the post gets kind of long):
-I have a picture, which is 2464x1856 (34.22x25.78 inches). I open said picture in an app like photoshop or photopea. There, on resize, i see DPI which is 72. I know that DPI stands for Dots per Inch, and from what i have read online, an optimal DPI is between 150-300. And this is where my troubles begin.

-If i change the DPI, while i have the box "resampled" checked, it also changes the size of the pic (to 10267x7733), however the inches don't change. Now, from my very limited understanding, the pixels change because to fit 300 dots per inch, more pixels are needed (300 times the width and height in inches). Am i right to think that this means that the only change if i print the pic will be the quality, as more dots are fit per inch? Is there too high of a DPI?

-If i change the DPI without checking "resampled", then it's the inches that change. When i put 300 DPI on the same pic, the inches change to 8.21x6.19. Does that mean, that if i want to print that picture with 300 DPI, i have to print it in these dimensions? What does the option "resampled" do?

-Aspect Ratio. I get the basics, that for example 16:9 means 16 units of width for 9 units of height. So that means that a picture 1600:900 is 16:9. Now, let's take the upper mentioned image. How should i proceed if i want to save it in different aspect ratios so i can print of different sizes? Should i simply crop the image original image (2465x1856 / 34.22x25.78 in inches), the one which was done with resampling (10267x7733 but same inches), or the one done without resampling (where the inches are changed to 8.21x6.19)?

Sorry for the novel written, i just tried to explain it as clear as possible (and probably failed xD).

Edit 1: So after a bit more research i think i found where i was wrong. The DPI is not a "cause" but a "consequence". Now, if i had gotten it right, if i have a picture 1600x900, and i print it at 16x9 inches, that would be 100 DPI, correct?

Equipment - Beginner

Hi, I'd like to get into digital art but not really sure where to start in terms of what tablet is best.

I have a MacBook Air so could go screenless if there's any good cheap software compatible with Mac?

Struggling Artist Looking for Free Digital Art Resources โ€“ Any Recommendations?

I'm super interested in getting into digital art but, to be honest, I'm really strapped for cash right now. I've got the basic tools (an iPad and stylus with Procreate), but I can't seem to find high-quality, free resources or lessons that really go in-depth on fundamentals. Iโ€™d love to know if there are websites or platforms out there that could help me learn the essentials of digital art without paying a ton of money. Are there any good free courses, or specific tutorials you've found useful when starting out? Or any art communities that offer guidance and resources for beginners? Iโ€™m eager to learn and really appreciate any suggestions.

Help in starting

I currently have an iPad Air and pen pro, and have been messing around with procreate while Iโ€™ve been out on my work trips. I really want to dive into it but most of the ebooks I try reading arenโ€™t very in depth. Most of it is done offline and Iโ€™m trying to find something that I can dive in and really learn digital art and sketching in general. What books have you read that help? Any tips appreciated โค๏ธ

Where do I even begin?

I have a samsung tablet that I use exclusively for making notes but recently I've been aching to learn art so that I can make fanart of some of my favourite shows. Is there any recommended software I can get off playstore? Are there any recommended tutorials to start off with digital art? Sorry if these questions seem redundant. I'm totally new to all this

which stylus for old wacom tablet?

Hello everybody :)

I found an old wacom intuous pen small ctl480-s in my basement and wanted to give it to my nephew who justed started to draw digitally.

However the tablet is missing its stylus. When looking online, i couldn't quite figure out if i should buy a new wacom stylus(which can be a little expensive) or maybe some cheaper alternatives? Would they even work on the tablet?

Thanks in advance :)
