Reminds me of Vegeta before he was officially introduced since he had red hair. I don't know if this detail was intentional bit regardless it's really cool
Future Trunks, by coming back to the past before he was even born, took away his own ability to be born.
Let me explain.
By changing the past ( the death of Freezer and his father's.) and telling about the androids threat, he irremediably changed the course of the world.
Sure, the outcome came pretty much the same, Vegeta hooking up with Bulma, but most likely not at the same time/situation.
What are the odds after this huge change in the timeline, the exact same spermatozoid would pollinate Bulma's ovule, impossible...
Brothers can be pretty similar and that's probably why we tend to think both are the same. Both took after Bulma in term of looks, both are called Trunks (a name Bulma would have given to any male baby she would have had). Don't forget Bra also took after Bulma in term of looks so her genes seems to be quite dominant in terms of looks anyway.
What do you think?
Also the fact that in Super both Trunks doesn't have the same hair colour seems to accredite my theory.
To sum up: Future Trunks came to the past and changed it, he's not born in our timeline but instead a baby brother of him, looking like him taking after his mother's looks with the same name (could have been a girl though just random luck it was also a male).
What do you think?
Obviously this is a cop out and most of them prob wouldnt do it but if their dead they get inf energy and i think stronger bodies
for the TOP
Are the Z Fighters underrated?
I just started Dragon Ball Z a bit ago, and I'm part of the way through the Namek/Frieza Saga. Are the fighters worth caring about? They were bodied pretty hard by Nappa, but I can only assume they're about to get a good little jump in power level, but I feel like it's just going to be the Goku/Vegeta show from here on out.
I’m trying to get into Dragon ball and I’m starting with the original, is the Manga or Anime better? Is one significantly worse? Does it even matter which one? I was going to do the Anime since I have much easier ways to watch it but I heard someone say that the Manga is much better.
Saw someone reflect on how Goku's transformations actually mirror of how flames' colors are also an indication of how hot and strong they burn, and how it actually aligns with Goku's natural transformation progress (And Jiren and others mentioning heat when speaking of Ultra instincts aura)
A yellow flame is the weakest (super saiyan), a pure red flame is strong (God), blue flames are beyond normal flames (God blue), and white flames are the hottest flames (Ultra instinct)
Imma say 17&18
For almost 100 years, runners struggled with trying to run a mile in less than 4 minutes. Many thought it could only be done only under very specific conditions. Many others thought it was physically impossible; that the human body literally just couldn't run that fast.
In 1964, Roger Bannister finally ran a mile in 3 minutes, 59 seconds.
A few weeks later, John Landy ran it in 3 minutes, 58 seconds.
The mere confirmation that running that fast was possible suddenly made it achievable. It was like a psychological barrier was broken preventing the expansion of human limitations. Today, we know of almost two thousand runners who have ran a 4-minute mile; something that just 50 years ago seemed impossible.
The story of Dragonball - and Goku in specific - is one of constantly self-improvement. Goku strives every day to be the best and, when he achieves that, he only looks forward, to what even greater heights must be possible.
For Goku, going Super Saiyan was a huge achievement: because nobody knew it could be done. For Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, and Goten, going Super Saiyan became relatively trivial; once you know something is possible, the psychological limits fall.
It is not going Super Saiyan itself that is the achievement. It is achieving the impossible. That's why Gohan going SS for the first time is practically skipped over in the story; but going SS2 is his big moment. Because that is his time to achieve something nobody knew was possible.
It may seem that Toryiama devalued Super Saiyan over time by making it something literally every Saiyan in the story could do, but it's true to the core themes of Dragonball that it happened that way. It was far easier for Goten to go SS, because he grew up from a baby knowing it was possible. Dragonball isn't the story of achieving what has already been done (if it was, Goku would have maxed out at roughly the same power level as Roshi, and the story would have treated that as the ultimate win). And it is not about becoming the best and then jealously guarding that position (if it was, Goku would resent the others from also achieving SS, instead of encouraging them to do so). It is rather the story of achieving things that nobody ever dreamed possible, through hard work and continual self improvement..
When u think of the fights in the Saiyan and Namek Saga they felt like real do or die situations where if u slip up enough in a fight then it's going to cost u your life or you're going to end up seriously mangled in the process. Z fighters vs Nappa is a perfect example of this where u had a skilled dude like Tien get his forearm knocked clean off just by basically defending himself by trying to counter Nappa. Then u had a little innocent looking guy like Chaotzu being smashed, roughed up and rammed all over tough terrain by Nappa so he could be freed from Chaotzus grasp. Krillin also almost dies if wasn't for Piccolo blasting Nappa in the back in time. We all know what almost happens to Gohan while Piccolo took the attack head on for him and it cost him his life in the process.
I don't even have to mention the intensity and stakes involved in the Goku vs Vegeta fight but then on Namek u had Zarbon damn near killing Vegeta in their first encounter and Vegeta vs Recoome u could see Vegeta pulling every trick out of the book by capitalizing on any split second that Recoome let his guard down because he was outclassed and couldn't hurt Recoome any other way in their battle. U had Gohans neck being broken and u had Frieza tormenting the Z fighters and almost killing everyone of them before another fighter would come to the rescue.
I don't get that same feeling of intensity and brutality when it comes to the fights in the Android/Buu Saga because most of them feel like casual duels or a "who's stronger" pissing contest where the situation doesn't feel as dire and consequential if they're on the losing end like of the fights like in the earlier sagas. Fights like Vegeta vs 18, Piccolo vs 17, Goku vs Cell are great but they feel like duels or fighting contests more than someone who is actually fighting for their life or trying to protect themselves from serious injury. 16 vs Imperfect Cell is one of the fights where it felt like survival on the line and they were actually trying to one up each other through slick surprise tactics and end the fight as soon as possible by damaging the opponent as much as possible. I feel the same way regarding most of the Buu Saga when it comes to the fights so I'm just curious if others feel this way about it or have noticed this.
So Goku went Super Saiyan because he got angry after watching Krillin die. He turn into the super ape after staring at the moon. So why couldn't he accidentally tap into one of them in the original DB series? I feel like he got pretty mad a couple of times through out the series
The obsession this fanbase has with making Goku stronger than EVERYONE really makes the show less interesting. Making Goku or Frieza stronger than the god of destruction really takes away from the title - and teh story
Are Goku and Kakarot definitely the same person?
I mean let's say he didn't get psychic fish powers and him and his family died along with everybody else on Planet Vegeta. What becomes of earth? Maybe a dumb question since there's a lot of stuff that happens in dragonball og and eventually, the remaining saiyans would turn up and eventually end things on our rock.
I just started DBZ for the first time after finishing DB. spolier they just beat vegeta, goku is borderline almost dead after being killed a year ago and this bitch is mad at him for dying, coming back to life then saving the world. yajirobe even calls her out on it and she gets more mad. Now she's mad at goku cause he can't move... like what?
Was doing a garage sale for my anime merchandise and the kids know who goku is but fail to recognize characters from other anime (Naruto, One piece, JJk). It got me thinking if kids from LatAm countries where dragon ball is widely popular still recognize goku and his friends. Like if we all oldschool fans die, is dragon ball still gonna be as large as it is now in the future??
Because Saiyan Recovery works off any injury but increases with the severity of the injury and Immortality would give him absolute regeneration an Immortal Saiyan could just keep consistently powering up like DBS Broly. Since Vegeta was living at Capsule Corp, at any time he could have made off with a radar, after becoming Immortal he would defeat 17 and 18, then Cell and obviously Goku. Another way this could play out is after Future Trunks appears, Vegeta decides to gather the Dragon Balls in the three year wait
So I want to know everyone’s opinion on the villains and what I mean by this is I’m going to ask about a bunch of category’s to see which villain takes the cake for it so the category’s (not including lord beerus cause he’s literally the god of destruction) you may include movie villains if you want :))
Who was the most disrespectful
Who was the most destructive
Who had the most potential
Who is your favorite villain
Who has the cleanest drip
Who has the best speech (if they have one)
They both got to King Kai faster and trained there longer than Goku.
When freiza arrived on earth with his king cold in his mecha state he was actually weaker than when he was on namek. He might have been "whole" with robotic limbs but those parts weren't good enough to keep up with his natural strength and abilities cause him to be held back making him weaker. That's whe even though it's stated multiple times he is the strongest of his race in final form he was the same power level as king cold in a base form.
Like I get that sayans are literally humans with tails but he's just a guy so he's either human or is from a third alien species that are just space human
Hi, i am watching Dragonball Daima ob Crunchyroll with German Sub. In the newest Episode, Goku Said that he is marrierd and have five children.
5??? Gohan, gotenks. Who are the other three? Or could that bei a Translationfailure in German?
After the current daima episode I gave it a thought and it really makes sense that magic in dragon ball is essentially demon ki that is why ki warriors don't generally used it as often. This would also be a very good explanation for orange piccolo as they can describe it as in that form he mixes his demon ki with regular ki
So, we all remember the brutal beatdown Final Form Cooler gave to Goku in the movie.
We also remember that SSJ Goku quickly overwhelmed Cooler.
So first impression shows SSJ Goku>>>>Final Form Cooler
BUT
I think people tend to forget that the Supernova that Cooler instantly created took everything out of Goku in order to deflect it (He was vulnerable to SALZA afterwards). That's a huge power difference compared to the Supernova Frieza threw at Ssj Trunks.
In addition, Goku's counter didn't kill Cooler, the sun did. There's a possibility that, if Cooler wasn't shot into the sun, it could have been a Goku vs Vegeta situation where Cooler returned back to Earth with Goku being completely beaten, in which case the World would have been screwed.
So in short, I think Cooler(going all out) might be physically weaker than SSJ Goku, but he likely could have won without the sun.
Is it just me or should there be a dragon ball super Kai? I say this becouse the animation sucks for dbs and I feel like they need to reanimate the full show, the only good parts of dbs (animation wise) was the TOP and even then its hit or miss. This would also be good becouse the manga for dbs is far different from the anime and making it resemble the manga more would make for an actualy good show. After they're done reanimating the TOP they could easily move on to the moro and granolah arc. Another name for this show could be Dragon Ball SuperStar.
Does Baby change Vegeta eyes' color in his base form? I mean when he still looks like regular vegeta but with silver hair. I mean the pupil color.
Vegeta has black eyes of course but we don't know what would have happened if Baby had possessed another character with blue eyes for example.
I was watching another video about Goku and Vegeta being stuck somewhere for a 100 years and they all seem so unrealistic and pushing random stuff on us. Then I decided to try and make it possible. And from this core Idea it could be fine to do an offshoot story. Maybe even explains couple of thing about Dragonaball. Like, why it was so easy to become Super Saiyan God (read at the bottom).
What does it mean?
Full power fresh Nappa from the Saiyan saga
Vegeta battle damaged from the entire battle with Goku, and then the spirit bomb(the full canon sequence as normal)
Would Vegeta beat Nappa?
Guys, serious question. Was chatting with my nephews about super saiyans and the 12yo asked hypothetically if Nappa became a super saiyan, would he regrow his hair? And how would it look like? Or if his head would turn gold instead?
Seriously guys. This is an important question. Thanks in advance.
Hello! I'm someone that reads dragon ball manga more lightly as of recently and found out that it was said that Goku absorbed SSG powers to his base form.
What does this absorption imply? The god ki? The power? Was it temporary? If not, why does he still transform into SSG if it was absorbed into his base form? (ex: Manga, ToP, Super Broly movie)
I've tried searching online in depth for mixed results and non-direct answers, so if you could help me out I'd appreciate a lot!
so are the fusion technique(s) or methods the strongest technique in the entire franchise thus far even above Ui, hakai, etc? like we have never seen a warrior born from fusion lose a battle whether in dbz or super but we have seen a power like hakai failing against for example zamasu or vegeta. I def think its the most interesting of them all because growing up i always thought that being fused is 2 ppl controlling 1 body taking turns or in sync but its actually the 2 fighters fusing and creating a entire new person which ik might sound dumb but was really mind blowing to think about at least for me.
