Itās weird. They gave me a new Goku and didnāt carry over from the main game unlike New Power Awakens, but kept some of the combos you get from the first DLC.
I understood for the tournament DLC but thatās just strange. Would it have really been that weird to be Super Saiyan God during End of Z? Itās like they gave up on any DLCs that link to the main game after the first two.
So with the announced Seasonpass 3 we know that the First Part 1 dlc will be Dragonball daima. Actually we dont Know If the seasonpass is 1-2 parts or as usual 1-3 dlcs. Its pretty Sure the Last dlcs we will get for this Game, so my Hope the Last dlc will finally:
Unlock all Characters as playable in free roam. New Attacks and Movesets for the Basegame
Its pretty Long Time they didnt Touch the Maingame with Some new stuff.
So you know how in Sparking Zero there are these What-if scenarios, some a little more fleshed out than others?
For example, the one where Goku and Piccolo defeat Radditz and Goku survives and the story just continues from there.
Could somebody create like a DLC where it's a different scenario from the main game like you would select the DLC content.
Expanding that story with text dialogue, and only import the lines spoken in the Sparking Zero version. Little side stories here and there, getting to hang out with the gang during the year of training, etc.
I know that'd be a ton of work, but I think it'd be awesome to play.
EDIT: Genuine question to add. Who did I offend with this post?
It would be awesome to play GT campaign in Kakarot and I wanted to ask if you think that or you prefer only recent stuff
Is there any plan to fix the next gen achievements (Xbox series x)
I started a new Playtrough on Kakarot with and xbox series and next Gen Upgrade. Man, this Game Looks Like with the Upgrade it came Out this year. I recently Played Sparking Zero and its amazing how good Kakarot holds Up against it. In Some cases it Looks even better. I forgot how good the Open World is and that it has even a functional Traffic system in the wilds š¶āš«ļø Sparking Zero is an amazing Game more complex than Kakarot, but to be honest, no DB game was ever this good.
I forgot to take a screen shot but his ass started screaming and then poof. I'm on ps5
Anyone else having this issue? This came after the Oct 26 update. I've tried just about everything to no avail.
I couldn't get all the mods to work, but at least I found a way to have Bardock in the main game, that's enough for me
Hello kakarot community, I'm planning to make a video about the Dragon Ball Z Kakarot beta, and I would like to know if anyone has some screenshots, data, information, or anything else that would help me a lot.
Does anyone know how to help, I canāt level him up, access his skill tree, or access the Tough Battles.
Genuinely cannot wait for the another game like it. I know the battle system could of had improvement but still I love the effort into the story.
I was gonna get sparkling zero until I read how toxic the online is so I'm glad I stuck to this game.
What vision you'd like on the next story driven dragon ball game?
I keep seeing this black aura when I'm about to go Surge. I believe Accurate Charge Auras is causing it.
Can anyone please help me fix it? The attached image shows how my mods are ordered.
I've been playing the game again after some time with no mods and for some reason the game crashes my whole pc in the cutscene after fighting android 19, does anyone know how to fix this? The crash isn't also a blue screen, my screen goes black and the audio begins to loop.
Hi! Recently I began to watch dragon ball 1 season, i like it and i decided to play Kakarot. Game has a lot DLCs and i think its all about future, but not about 1 season. I want to ask about what should i start by chronology. DLC or main game?
Also i want to ask about mods. I found 2 mods for better camera. May be i can install something more? And i really wanna play for heroes in different costumes. But i see only mods, that change outfits in endgame. What should I do?
Would love for DLC/Season Pass adding the āTournament of Powerā the could also add Broly from Dragon Ball Super: Broly, imagine if there was whole other Universe where you play as the Pride Troopers (Top, Jiren, Dyspo, Kahseral, Cocotte, Vewon, Tupper, Zoire, Kettle, K'nsi, Belmod)
Obviously doubt they would add everyone, but one can hope and dream, man if the added everyone from the āTournament of Powerā that would be epic, but maybe 2-3 from each Universe would be more sensible and they could add Soul Emblems for the others.
This game been here for a while but they never bother to improve upon the base game. There are minor improvements to things already in the game but its all locked away on a DLC.
For example they made the nimbus better but its only in this one dlc and you cant use the faster nimbus out of the DLC.
This makes me think that whoever is in charge of this game ( Not the devs ) doesn't really care about the community. Years of suggestions in this reddit and still nothing.
Itās stupid and annoying that you canāt finish up the gravity training in the prepare for androidās part of the game it is just black and white meteorites we need itās not even important in the game.
The rr villainous robots teleport onto me and I can't move only fix I've found is the full assist bar move because it has a cut scene. Any tips to fix this I'm very new to the game
I have been searching for hours atp, in game and on google. I cannot find the Super Deluxe Seafood Course anywhere in relation to the Trunks DLC. Can someone please just tell me the direct answer? I am struggling, lmao, I know this DLC is easy regardless of Full Course usage, but I would like to find everything and 100% this run in earnest, not just through trophies. Thank you in advance!
Loki reference
Can't find anything online other than the time machine for the main story. Is that what I need to do for DLC missions as well?
has the legendary edition for ps5 all the DLC?
As of making this post, I've installed DBZ kakarot after about a year or so, and when I loaded in, it said that the data for a new power awakens 1 and the warrior of hope lost their data. When I tried loading into my max level Goku save, it wouldn't let me because it had data for dlc that wasn't installed and that I had to install the dlc for that save. I went to the Microsoft store (yes, I'm playing the game on my old @$$ Xbox which is probably why my stuff ain't working) and it showed I have everything installed aside from warrior of hope, so I installed warrior of hope and I noticed that the a new power awakens 1 and 2 weren't only not installed, but it also showed that I had to BUY it again even though I already owned it and have played it plenty of times and I don't know what to do, if any of y'all got any suggestions on how I could possibly fix this, let me know š

!!UPDATE!! I figured out the problem, turns out stuff from the season passes just didn't install right and I had to install them manually, the problem is fixed now š also yes, I did figure out my problem like 15 mins after posting this
Does anyone know of it will work to buy the game from E-Shop Europe and the DLCs from LATAM? The cartridge codes are exactly the same on USA and Europe
Iāve spent significant hours playing Kakarot as well. Overall , I think it is a great game that does complete justice to the DBZ anime show. Going thru the story line and all the arcs of DBZ brings back nostalgia from our childhood and seeing each and every character from the series really brings back memories.
Although the game is decent it does have opportunities in o be even better and after playing it I do have some serious recommendations on improvements
Flying Mechanics:
Realistic Flying with Boost Speeds:
Multiple boost speeds ranging from casual (for exploration) to super-fast (faster than supersonic). This would let players feel the power and flexibility of characters like Goku while making flying more interactive and less monotonous.
Tricks and Air Maneuvers:
Adding aerial tricks like barrel rolls would make flying more engaging and fun, adding depth to the mechanics beyond just traveling from point A to B.
Nimbus Upgrade:
Applying the same improvements (boost speeds, tricks) to the Flying Nimbus makes it feel less like a static ride and more like an immersive experience. Aesthetics and Customization:
Fixing Transformation Auras:
Improved animation for transformations and Ki charging would elevate the visual spectacle, making transformations look more powerful and true to the anime.
Free Roam Transformations:
Letting players transform during free roam adds a sense of freedom and authenticity, making it feel more like living as these characters.
Costume Change Flexibility:
Allowing players to switch costumes at any time offers a sense of customization, something many players enjoy. Combat & Free Roam Integration:
Seamless Combat Initiation:
Removing the need for a specific battle start screen and allowing players to engage in combat mid-free roam, locking onto targets naturally (like action RPGs such as Spider-Man or Assassinās Creed), would make the world feel more dynamic.
Using Ki and Super Moves in Free Roam:
Allowing players to fire Ki blasts and super moves during free roam (in 3rd person) adds a layer of freedom and fun, letting players test powers outside of structured battles.
Traversal and Environment Interaction:
Parkour and Running Animations:
Adding parkour moves and improved jumping/running animations (with speed boosts) would make even ground movement more interesting and fluid, rather than just being a means of transport.
Fishing & Hunting Mini-Games:
Making fishing more complex (like in Red Dead Redemption 2) and adding hunting with challenging mechanics could make mini-games feel more rewarding and skill-based.
Interacting with Objects in Free Roam: Allowing full interaction with objects would breathe life into the environment, making the world feel less static and more immersive, like in true open-world games.
Free Roam World Improvements: Suggesting a bigger, more varied, and fully explorable Earth (with fast travel like Spider-Man 2) would make the world feel enormous and open-ended.
Instant Transmission: Using Gokuās Instant Transmission as a fast travel method would add immersion and fit well with the lore.
Sub-Stories and Tasks: The suggestion of more varied and less repetitive side quests would help keep the player engaged. Combat Depth:
Liberating Areas: Having missions where players liberate areas from enemies (like RR robots) adds purpose to exploration and incentivizes combat beyond just story missions.
Improving Random Enemy Spawns: Modifying how enemies spawn to make it less annoying and more dynamic would reduce frustration during exploration.
Training Opportunities: Training with different characters in different settings (wilderness, hyperbolic time chamber, Capsule Corp, etc.) would add depth and variety to combat development.
Expanded Interaction with DBZ Characters: Doing chores, tasks, and favors for characters like Chi Chi or Bulma adds personality and allows for deeper relationships and immersion.
Challenging Tasks and Quests: Increasing the challenge level of certain tasks, like getting ingredients for Bulma, would make the game more rewarding and engaging.
Additional Immersive Features:
New Arcs and Storylines: Including arcs like Goku in Yardrat and Otherworld Martial Arts would expand the lore and variety of playable content.
Rescuing Citizens: A feature where players can rescue civilians and earn rewards (like in Spider-Man) would give free roam a greater sense of heroism.
Racing Challenges and Health Meter for Cities: Introducing racing challenges on the Nimbus and adding a health meter for cities under attack would increase stakes and create more objectives during free roam.
Combat Enhancements:
Slow Motion in Combat: A slow-motion feature during fights could create more cinematic, high-impact moments, especially for finishing moves or big attacks.
Finishing Moves and Grabs: Adding finishing moves and the ability to grab and throw enemies during combat would make battles feel more dynamic and true to the animeās intense action sequences.
Bruce Faulconer Score: Having the Bruce Faulconer score (famous in the U.S. Dragon Ball Z dub) would tap into nostalgia and make the gameās soundtrack more exciting for long-time fans.
Improved Voice Acting: Increasing voice acting during smaller cutscenes (instead of just subtitles) would elevate the overall presentation and immersion.
Better use of adaptive triggers and the PS5 controller to make the experience more immersive
Add weapons like Trunks Sword and Gokuās powerpole
Add a meditation feature to mediate and allow time to go by which will recover HP and will increase a small amount of XP points.
These are just some improvement recommendations that I have sent to Bandai. If DBZ Kakarot is enhanced with all these improvements and features I would definitely buy it again!. Would you ? What do you all think ?
Also any other suggestions on gameplay improvements? š
Got all the DLC when it was on sale awhile back and feel like doing a full replay. Are there any mods people recommend?
Obviously having the same fighting as Sparking Zero would have cool, but I think having the same flying and transformation mechanics would've been even better. Imagine playing kakarot and being able to have an explosive transformation in the overworld and flying around like you do in SZ. It feels so good I wish I had a bigger area to just fly around in
