The discussion of modern secure systems for privacy.

/r/CryptoAnarchy is for the discussion of modern day implementations of secure systems that embrace the core principles of Crypto-Anarchism; enabling end users to implement, and learn to use, strong crypto to enhance their privacy.

Crypto-Anarchism is the result of strong, open source cryptography being the hands of everyone.

Untraceable offline device?

I was wondering if it's possible to create an untraceable device if it doesn't use internet, bluetooth or anything like that?

Suppose I'm a threat to all humanity and catching me is top priority of all countries. If I hide in some random location, in some part of the ocean, in woods, deserts, so on. If I had som sort of device, say just something for games to pass time, would that be trackable?

I'm sure the older gameboys are not traceable (am I wrong?). But I was wondering what in a device makes it traceable? GPS works even when I don't have internet so if I make a device with no internet but with GPS, I would still be tracked (am I wrong?). Bluetooth I think is harder since it's short range, but I assume a device can be made to track some of its waves?

Question: What is it that would make a device traceable at all?

I can also imagine that if they put their minds to it, they can create a device that would detect electricity in some way and so if my device only has the electricity, it would still be traceable but that is a little too much so I'm mainly asking about the other stuff.

I ask this because I'm curious about if I'd be able to make some sort of message encryption device back in WW1 that would be impossible to decipher.
