I'm thinking about getting a seedbox for my RED uploads and I'm not sure which provider to go with. Currently looking at Ultra, Feral and Whatbox and leaning towards Ultra for the price/performance, though I'm not sure which one has better peering on RED.

I'm mostly uploading 24-bit WEB and Blu-ray albums and I'm getting 1-1.8 ratios on my home connection with qBit and some settings from BHD. Would I get more with a seedbox? And is it worth considering an NVMe plan instead of an HDD one? Any input on this is appreciated.

However, recently, I’ve started having trouble finding certain things and thought it might be interesting to try out other platforms. I don’t have much information about other private trackers like Bibliotik, BTN, and IPT, though.

My main question is: Do these sites have any holiday or special day promotions, or is it usually necessary to get an invite from a current member? I also have 4 invitations on TorrentLeech, but I don’t really know if trading is the usual way these things work. I’m a bit unsure of how to proceed, so I thought I’d ask here. I have been away from private trackers for a long time as streaming options were pretty solid. Now I'm paying cable prices again. I frequented bB for several years and was preparing to have to dance to get my account reactivated.

i've gotten into uploading torrents to trackers more often so i have a few questions about it

• some private trackers differentiate tracker URL by user and some don't. how does that work on a technical level? like, one tracker i'm on has you set your tracker url to tracker.privatetrackerA.com:port/ghjkdshgljdgd/announce while another tracker i'm on just says to set the tracker url to privatetrackerB.com/announce
• also- i'm on pornolab (look its a bit messy but the catalogue is huge) and there you don't even have to set a tracker url when setting up a torrent at all. how does that work? and why doesn't every tracker work like that? if the step can be removed, shouldn't it? i mean its not a big deal or anything but
• does a person's tracker URL ever change? i guess the reason i'm asking is so that i can clarify if its possible for me to, like, make a bunch of torrents all at once, but then only upload then when i'm ready to. it takes me a bit to prepare all the torrents since i've been uploading to a lot of different sites, and i'd like to have, say i'm uploading a series, episode 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 to all be next to each other in the search results

Does HUNO has potential to be a elite tracker? Been there since 2022 (first 100+ users), i've seen all the good and bad times early in its creation where people laugh at it in opensignups for having a discord community and people insult their naming scheme etc. also not to mention the google disaster (the worst), but after all that sh*t they're still standing and came back stronger than ever even become a reputable web group in the tracker scene.

And if your not aware they had their last 24h opensignup around 6 months ago, before that they only have around 2k active users managing 30k+ torrents, but since that opening they grew to 5.3k active users rn and another 30k torrents added in 6 months ! And mind you they do not have a BOT uploader, all thanks to the HONE group, uploaders and encoders who release their own x265 to HUNO. Right now the site is very active with 400k+ peers in 59k torrents with the same 95.7 percent retention rate ! Even with a ratioless economy people really perma seed there.

Judging by the stats i believe they will hit 100k+ torrents by the end of next yr in its first 3 years of existence. So i wonder about its growth potential, will it be a top tier tracker someday? Probably first of its kind as a HEVC focused unlike most which focused in Remuxes and HQ x264's.

Being part of too many private trackers is a burden .... you need to login every 1-2 months and download something.

How many trackers are you guys a member of, what are they and how do you maintain it ? surely seeding alone won't be enough, many of them need downloads and uploads.

While searching for tracker lists to add to qBittorent I stumbled upon this link:

The specific file from that link I'm interested in is:

AddqBittorrentTrackers.shAddqBittorrentTrackers.sh

If I understand it correctly it is using bots to update the latest trackers daily, and this script will then add them to qBittorent so anything I download will apply those tracker. However the script is a .sh file and I have no idea how to use this or if I am understanding its purpose correctly.

I'm using qBittorent v5.0.1 on Win 10 if that helps.
