I hope you guys aren't getting too tired of this lol This is from Adventure Comics #53
Anybody have any? Here's one of mine 😡 my question is mostly just an excuse to post this picture. Thanks UPS!
That's my old post with Break the Chain!
The most recent addition to my Cloak and Dagger Collection, and my first officially CGC graded Issue! Very proud to have this!
Really happy with my purchases at my LCS
Today marks day two of my return to comic collecting. I’ve now visited each of the seven shops in my area and met and connected with business owners and employees. It’s been such an experience engaging with other hobbyists in my community and hearing what they like to collect and how long they've been running their respective shops.
As a long-time Dr Doom (and MF DOOM) fan, I’m thrilled these two books came home with me today. I plan to crack a cold one and read them sometime this weekend. Here’s to you, readers and collectors 🍻.
For people who use League of Comic Geeks (or similar apps), if you look in your Stats, it tells you how many books you own based on the writer. These may not necessarily be your favorites, just which writer you own the most books of. For example I hate Zeb Wells but he made my top 10 because I own all of his ASM run…but Tom King checks out because I collect his books. Post your top 10 writers!
Came in the mail today. This is now my oldest Avengers comic.
Got this from my LCS yesterday for a good price, no haggling needed! Man I love these Sea Devil covers!!
I’ve never really read Moon Knight and don’t have any connection with the character. Since its missing pages it doesn’t seem worth selling. Still feels like a neat find. What would you do with something like this if you found it?
TOTALLY asking for a friend, but “my friend” is looking for a specific comic (a variant cover) but it is more than likely to be a little too risque for this reddit, or other comic subreddits as well.
“My friend” would appreciate it if you could point them in the direction where they might find it a little easier acquiring NSFW comics so “my friend” could acquire it for his collection. Thanks to everyone reading.
P.S. If anyone is curious, the comic is a variant cover of Hellwitch: Sacreligious #1
P.S.S. I don’t normally collect comics like this, so judge all you want
A very scarce book to find in high grade, especially in newsstand edition. I took a gamble and got a 9.8!
Wife knows how much of a transformers fan I am, and I am a sucker for a good variant cover and smaller artists. She ended up surprising me with these bad boys done by Juan Gedeon on transformers 12 and 13. With killer remarks also.
I have a chance to go to the Megacon in January for the first time and am wondering how it measures up in a few comic-focused categories: exclusives, back issues, panels and creator autographs/sketches. And for the creators, not just the quality of the guests but accessibility too.
