This community is inspired by the great comics artist Scott Shaw!, who came up with the perfect term for strange comic books. It celebrates the weird, the wacky, the sometimes bad in comic books.

I was 10 when this came out. I found it in a multipack today and read it again. Very interesting how much of it had been burned into my brain.
Neat Basil Wolverton cover with photo background.
I love obscure promotionals. This one was, at least in theory, distributed exclusively at a series of 2012 Nestle promotional events where the Quik Bunny, in costumed mascot form, appeared at various Walmarts to hawk chocolate powder and hand out comics. Nesquik It's Legendary: The Search for Chocolatey Goodness is also among the longest, most ridiculous comic book titles of all time.
Published by DC, this is actually Quik Bunny's third comic book appearance. Nestle was partnered with Marvel back in 1984 for The Adventures of Quik Bunny (with a Spider-Man appearance). The company hopped ship (see what I did there?) to DC, resulting in the 1987 Superman Meets the Quik Bunny. The chocolate advertisement rabbit is therefore one of a fairly small number of characters to have screen time with both Spider-Man and Superman.
