A subreddit for infamous banned EC Comics and related materials! EC Comics (Entertaining Comics) was an American publisher of comic books, which specialized in horror fiction, crime fiction, satire, military fiction, and science fiction from the 1940s through the mid-1950s, notably the Tales from the Crypt, and humor magazine MAD.

Our podcast “Your Horror Show” is very much a homage to Tales from the Crypt and other EC titles. This particular cover I had our artist also do a homage to “Creepshow” which I think is one of the best anthology horror films ever.
Does anyone know if Oni will produce more horror titles as well as crime and shock books? I’m very excited to see where all of this leads! I’m Al title late to the party so I have the first books on the way!
What size do they run? Are they the same size as the original issues or were they reprinted at the same size as then current comics?
Foul Play and Other Stories by Jack Davis is here - if you've been following this series from Fantagraphics you know that the thickest volume so far has been "Terror Train" (Al Feldstein) - well, this one is thicker. It contains Davis's later horror stories (the really notorious ones) along with his stories from Aces High, Impact, and Incredible Science Fiction. I would say I highly recommend it, but I wrote the intro so that may seem biased! Heh heh...
I’m a huge fan of EC Comics and love the passion and enthusiasm of this subreddit.
I created a podcast called “Your Horror Show” that pays homage to classic EC comics like “Tales from the Crypt.” Our stories are full cast and range from ghosts, sci-fi terror and lovecraftian themes.
This particular story takes place in the same apartment complex as “Rosemarys Baby”.
Can anyone recommend a good book(s?) that chronicles the history of the EC studio? Not necessarily focusing on the Wertham inquisition, but more the studio and the artists, books, etc?
