I’m trying to figure out if this was promotional, with a figure or a stand alone comic from Hong Kong. Was given to me years ago and can’t find any information.
Missing 8,10,11,12

I know printing errors, like blue Galactus or the dazzler black and white misprint etc increase collectibility, but with something like this with this actually decrease it? I feel like missing ages could be easily faked if someone is careful removing the staples. I'm kind of bummed because I just ordered the Romita senior hidden gem cover of this and not even sure I can get a different copy of it replaced from where I bought it from.
I got this comic at a garage said and I was wondering it it was valuable
I’ve got an old shoebox that has some comic books in it. These three are sealed bags and have five books apiece. Looking at them in the bags, they appear to be in very good condition, no rust on the staples and just the slightest amount of wear on the corners, presumably from moving around in the box as I’ve had it with me throughout college and ten years of moving around in the military.
I’ve done some very light research but I’m hoping that someone can point me in the right direction for where I can learn the grade/appraise/sell (or keep?). Admittedly, I know NOTHING about comic books. Don’t even know why these would be in sealed bags with five books each. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
Any key issues I should pick up this week? Looking as an investment. Thanks.
Not much info available online in the way of valuing them.
Since this is a speculation sub, let's speculate! What issues that released in roughly the last year do you think have long-term price potential? It could be key issues, first appearances, rare ratio variants, iconic artwork, etc.
Some of my picks are:
Spider-Man vol. 4, #7 and #8 - first cameo appearance and first full appearance of Spider-Boy. I think this is a cool character with a lot of potential. There is a lot of mystery around his origin, and I think he is well set up to be a major figure in the Spider-Verse moving forward.
Spider-Boy #1 - His first solo series. This run is geared more towards kids, and I think it's a no-brainer to have him featured in a Disney+ cartoon at some point.
Ultimate Universe #1 - First cameo appearance of Maystorm. She is set to be one of the main players in the new Ultimate X-Men series. Also, this issue has the first appearance of Ultimate Black Panther, which is a plus.
Penthouse Comics #1 - Debut issue of the reboot. Penthouse Comix was last published in 1998. Penthouse is a classic American brand, and these kind of covers tend to hold their value well.
$180 for a $5 book? I’m completely boggled by this!
Is it usual to sell modern comic books (published 1-3 years ago) from your collection? I have complete runs of mini series and ongoing ones that I bought and read once. Now I want to sell most of them to make space (these short boxes fill up so fast unnoticeably lol) and get a bit of some funds back to continue reading modern books. Is there a reasonable market for this kind of selling?
