My skin tone is the same as Chef Maneet Chauhan. Can anyone help me which shade she might be wearing? The shade she mentioned leans to pink/purple (shade Maybelline super stay in Party goer). But I’m looking for red shade just exactly in the picture. Thank you!
Hi. I've been getting into skincare and i've mostly used Korean Skincare that focused on brightening and hyperpigmentation and so far i've seen no difference. I watn to try to make a skincare regimen to target my hyperpigmentation using The Ordinary products but i know this brand has a lot of products for hyperpigmentation so i need some help. I have sensitive dry skin. I don't struggle with acne. My hyperpigmentation is from an over-production of melanin. My skin tone is around tan and i have big dark spots on my forehead, sideburn area, around my mouth, neck, and parts of my body. Can anyone help me start with a routine?
Hi everyone, I’m dealing with pigmentation on my body and I’m looking for ways to even out my skin tone, but I also want full-body whitening. I’d prefer not to use any topical or temporary solutions. Instead, I’m looking for something I can take internally, like supplements, dietary changes, or anything else that could lead to permanent results.
Has anyone gone through a similar process or found anything that worked long-term? I’d appreciate any recommendations or personal experiences you can share!
Thanks in advance!
Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone had any tips for how to lighten my inner thighs and other areas down there. I have tried GA, Lume, Kojic and Salicylic Acid but not really seeing much of a difference. I know I’ve read that you may need a RX but I can’t get into a derm until at least December 🙄 Thanks!!
21F South Asian. I have darkness around my smile line/nasolabial fold area. My nasolabial folds are rather prominent as well. I've tried alpha arbutin for a few weeks and I feel like I made it worse. This is something I'm very insecure about so if there's a product that actually worked for you, please let me know
I don’t wear makeup a lot
I am however wanting to try lip colors (gloss, tint, lipstick) outside of lipgloss and lip pencils What colors/ brands would you suggest?
I’m also working to clear my skin up from bad acne and it recently broke out again 😢I’m open to other makeup suggestions preferably subtle ones.
so i saw many people say that ordinary GA works great for inner thigh and vaginal hyperpigmentation so i ended up purchasing it and started using it around a week ago. I havent seen much results yet even though im aware its too soon to judge... but if you have any tips on what else i can do to fix this issue then that would be of great help, thank you!
(yes i am aware that this is natural and normal but im really conscious about it, any advice is much appreciated)
Has anybody tried Vedi Beauty? I saw that one of the lipsticks went viral on IG?
Hi! My Sephora Spice Market palette broke and the highlighter is totally gone :( I've tried many different brands (drugstore mostly ) but nothing comes close to the Sephora one. It looks like this particular palette has been discontinued!
What are some budget-friendly options for medium to dark skin tone? I'm not sure what my undertone is. Need something that is highly pigmented so it'll show up on my skin! Bonus points if it's available in Canada. US could be an option but not ideal.
Also what kind of nose do I have? What would you call it?
Looking for suggestions for us brown girls using tinted moisturizer or BB/CC creams instead of foundations. I am a neutral beige with golden undertone or medium skintone. So far i always used to get makeups done from salon and have always ended up looking like a completely different person during weddings or major functions.
I have a function coming up in few months and this time i want to try using tinted moisturizer or light foundation cream for soft glam look. I have tried Lakme weightless mousse (biege caramel) for years and it makes my skin look beautiful and i am looking for similar suggestions. Will it make me look under dressed ( it is an indian wedding i have to attend) . What other must have products can i add to perfect the look.
I have heard about Halo tinted moisturizer and am wondering if it is worth it.
Thanks in advance.
Please where/how can I buy a tretinoin cream without prescription? Have you any brand to advise? Thank you in advance
Hi, I'm from the UK and I'm looking for a red/ brick red/ burgundy liquid blush suitable for brown skin. I've got the milk makeup lip and cheek tint in the shade muse and I love it. I'm looking for a liquid blush similar to this.
Thanks in advance x
Hey brown beauties!! I'm going into my Junior year of high school and am starting to get more into makeup! I would appreciate any makeup product recs! I am looking for a good, dewy primer, more natural looking, lightweight foundation that covers my darkspots, a blush that suits darker skin tones, and a good, non-drying concealor and setting powder. Let me know of any good recommendations as I have always loved makeup but have never gotten it to look good for me, really want to up my game this year since I joined more professional settings and clubs! p.s. for reference my foundation colour is shade 420 from fenty beauty.
Hello, what is my undertone and shade?
Hi all, like the title says I'm looking for a mauve shade blush that will show up on my deep skin tone. I've look at RB in Believe, Haus Labs in Hibiscus Haze and Fenty in Riri. I was trying to check out brown/dark skin friendly brands to up the chance that the color will show. What do you guys think of any of these 3? I'm open to any another brands or suggestions also! 😊
hi beautiful people! just wondering if any of u have had positive results on facial / derm procedures. i’ve read certain laser treatments are not advisable for poc so i wanna outsource personal experiences. hate wearing makeup but i have hyperpigmentation, so suggestions & insights are highly appreciated!
Hi everyone, I've had these dark circles under my eyes for as long as I can remember. I live in the UK, and I've asked local beauticians for product recommendations. They've even tested products on me, but they never seem to be able to match my complexion or cover the circles properly. I wear glasses most of the time so I can hide them, but I'd really like to be able to wear contacts without feeling so self-conscious. Does anyone have any advice on what color corrector I should use or any other products that might help? Any advice is much appreciated ♥️
