We talk about beer and beer-adjacent things and sometimes things that have nothing to do with beer.
This is a group for those who love drinking, discussing, and enjoying beer or home brewing in Atlanta and all over the great state of Georgia. It is a place for people to create beer-themed events, and all-around beer promotion.

For a while I’ve been getting videos on IG of abukudou, a Japanese taproom? Their pouring technique is very polarizing. I think the pours are beautiful. In some cases lots of foam, others poured like a boss, lol.
Anyway, has anyone encountered a Japanese bar or restaurant with these taps that pour beer this way? Looks like mostly lager. I’m fine with that.

From what I can find there are growler shops up 75 and 85(and ITP obviously) but nothing on 400 ish. Anyone know a growler shop close to Alpharetta

Hi, I am looking for some beer advice for this weekend. Coming in from London. I will be working Monday and Tuesday, so Saturday late and Sunday evening are my only chances.
I’ll be arriving at Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Midtown at about 10:45 Saturday night. Guessing my only chance of a decent beer nearby will be Pour Taproom: Midtown.
Sunday I am probably at the Falcons/Steelers game so free from around 6.
I enjoy all styles aside from lager/kolsch/pilsner etc. Love Mixed Ferm, Imperial Stouts, IPAs (all variants), Belgian styles, Sours.
Where should I go? The only local brewery I’d heard of was Orpheus, sounded perfect. RIP!
TIA!
