Love the KC18.
Just moved from Texas, never seen one outside of dusty museums.
Here? Online at MSRP.
Tower has Found North batch 10 if anyone has been looking for one
wild turkey 70th aniversary (about $60, behind counter) and 13th colony cask strength ($100, on shelf with rest of 13th colony stuff) at Toco Giant. Very limited supply left so I'd call ahead before you drive over.
I’m not sure if it is still there, but I saw a coy hill at Bims last week for $200 if that interests anyone. I didn’t post then because I thought that was secondary+ like the rest of their allocated stuff, but I guess that’s below other secondary prices ive seen. Sorry for not posting last week if it’s gone! Call ahead to save yourself the trip!
Hey all,
I've been an avid Irish, scotch, but mostly bourbon drinker for the better part of the last 7 years. I love hunting for them, discussing them, and obviously drinking them, but unfortunately I don't really have many friends that share the same passion for it that I do. Does anyone know of any good groups that get together locally to share and discuss Whiskeys?
Opened in Lawrenceville on Halloween. I’m planning to check them out.
Saw this elsewhere on reddit and figured it would be interesting to post it here - the idea is if you had to pick only 5 bourbons to keep in your bar for the following purposes, which would you choose?
My current five:
If anyone is looking for it. There's 3 on the shelf. 89.99
Has anyone seen these floating around town? Doesn’t seem like it’s an allocated product…. But I assume most stores will treat it as such.
Two cases, think this is the Halloween happy. Death starred
Any must hit spots for bourbon between ATL & Auburn? Making the drive for the game Saturday, always willing to try a new honey hole.
Coming through town this weekend, any Russell's private barrels in the metro area? TIA
Anyone know of any stores that typically do a bourbon drop on Halloween?
New to the area and not well versed on the area stores yet. I’m over in the Decatur/Avondale area and am looking for some Rare Character store picks.
Specifically looking for TKO & KOA.
Any insight would be appreciated!
The place I purchased ($199) sold out minutes after I bought it. But put in good legwork to help with all of your hunt. Tower (will likely bourbon drop), spring road thinks they are getting some, greens (will bourbon drop), beverage depot (above msrp at $299), Westside beverage. All good places that were pretty solid on some sort of allocation. Many places are getting 1-3 bottles I’m told but not getting many.
If you find it, buy it and crack it immediately. Super easy approach and nice on the noseX smooth all the way through and finishes with a strong wood. If last years was better, dang I wish I had it last year. One of the best bourbons I personally have ever had. If you find it, don’t shelf it. Drink it- it’s incredible!
They're getting better at running these bourbon drops. I'm always like middle of the pack and can usually get what I had me eyes on, but then again I don't typically aim for the super limited bottles.
Hey y’all, just a quick reminder that image posts need an informative starter comment. Tasting notes, purchase location, price…not necessarily all of those but something that fosters discussion. Image posts that are just whiskey porn or “haul” posts without an informative starter comment will be asked to resubmit.
Had a handful of bottles of each
Slim pickings when my name was called. Learned that just because you have the points for the better stuff, that doesn’t mean it will still be there when it’s your turn
It’s been in stock more in the area recently but this is a pretty good price on it.
Anyone seen Little Book “The Infinite”? If so, what was the price? Hoping to find one around MSRP of $200
10% off store picks. List in comments.
Always a lot of hype around their stuff, even more so this week with the lottery for the double oaked.
What makes it so hyped? Does it live up to the hype? I’m all for learning more and supporting the local(ish) company but $175+ for a double oaked when there are very good double oaked bourbons for $125 less seems crazy.
What products of theirs do I need to try? Does it live up to the hype?
Greens on Ponce had the new infinite earlier today, few bottles but might put more out?
