Hey there I recently got an employment opportunity to work in Jonesboro at the hospital. I’m moving from CA and looking for a safe area to stay that isn’t too far from where I need to go for work. In my research so far I’ve discovered Clayton County is apparently unsafe and high in crime no matter where you live but id like to hear some more opinions on that. Please help me! I don’t want to have to turn down this job 😭. I’m willing to commute up to an hour (including traffic) for work as long as I get to live somewhere safe.
Atlanta, a new year is upon us! For many of you, the new year means upcoming lease renewals, potential moves to different neighborhoods, and possibly... brand-new never-lived-in-before apartments! For that reason, I aim to provide a comprehensive resource for those of you looking to upgrade your living situation, those of you moving to Metro Atlanta from more expensive places who'd like to avoid pricing out tenants of existing apartments, and those of you who are simply curious about what's out there in the apartment market -- or what's under construction down the street from you!
A few notes about this list of new-construction apartment communities:
The list is meant to be comprehensive, but I would guess that I've uncovered only 95% of 2025's new apartment communities using various imperfect resources. If you know of a new Metro Atlanta apartment community which I have not listed, please let me know so I can add it!

Looking for brand new apartments. I currently live in Grant park area and my lease is up in Aug. I prefer brand new apartments but I know that’s picky. Looking for something under $2000 for 1br/1ba no less than 700 sqft. I like living in south Atlanta but I’m seeing the north part like near the battery and dunwoody seem to be cheaper. Any advice or input? I wish I had access to costar so I can see what’s coming to the market.
I’m relocating to GA soon from another state. I’ve been eying Broadstone Peachtree Corners and was wondering if anyone has stayed here and what are your thoughts on this apt complex? Google reviews and the location looks great to me so far
Relocating from DC to ATL soon. I would like a quiet and safe area with a nice and clean space. I don’t care for fancy and I don’t mind small, but want washer/dryer in unit. Any realistic recommendations?
Hey, I’m looking for a studio/1 bed apartment in the midtown area. No more than $1200/month. I also don’t have the best credit score (low 600s). I’m graduating from UGA in May and am looking to move in on August 1st. Since I’m in college, I’m still working on my credit and am really hoping that doesn’t hinder me as I don’t have anyone to co-sign on a place for me. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Girlfriend and I are looking for a 2BD/2BR with a total budget of 2800. Anyone know of any good places in the Lenox/Buckhead area? Trying to find some right now but the google reviews seem to be all over the place. Some personal insight would be greatly appreciated!
Greetings community, I'm a budding real estate investor, (33 year old male) and I'm looking to purchase a property in Candler Mcafee in a subdivision right of Candler Road. Any insight of the neighborhood is certainly welcome. Specifically, if investing in the neighborhood is a good idea based on development, demographics etc? Thanks in advance!
Hey all, looking for a 1-2 bed loft for rent. Not picky on the area but just would love to find a loft and having some trouble finding one for rent by the owner.
Thanks in advance!
Good morning ATL! I’m going through some stuff right now and my landlord has filed for eviction. However, they have not directly notified me of this. I’m only aware because I’ve been checking the online case search daily and saw that they filed on the 20th. So my question is: aren’t they legally required to notify me of the filing? What happens if they don’t?
Looking for one bedroom apartment on a first floor by the airport. I have an emotional support dog and I work for delta. Im relocating from Florida and looking for an apartment.
I prefer living alone but id be willing to do a roommate depending on the situation, person, location, $$, etc
23 Hispanic male. Work from home. no pets. Quiet and clean.
I'm driving to ATL from Miami Dec 29th with the intention of moving out. I was initially was going to do a roommates service site like Homeroom but after looking into reviews for it, it seems there have been a lot of bad experiences people have had.
I need to move out next month and I'm not too picky on the area just somewhere within 15-20 miles of downtown Atlanta as I'm a frequent concert goer and I just need a preferably unfurnished room between 200-250 sq ft that I can sleep and work in.
I'm open to getting roommates my budget is 600/month max and I have a friend in Roswell who has volunteered to check out any locations for me.
3 leases available in the same unit at The Flats!
Hi! My flatmates and I are looking to transfer our leases at The Flats from Jan 1st - July 31st.
It’s a fully furnished apartment close to campus with a strong student community. The rent is 1120+45 for utilities.
it’s a great option especially if you’re looking to move with your friends.
I'm looking to rent a home around Snellville, Grayson and nearby, Our budget is about $1800 / $2000, hoping to get something that is at least a 2/2 with car garage; fenced is preferable since we have a dog. If anyone knows anything good, please let me know. I'm looking around at listings, but any help is welcome!
Hey y’all I’m a 25 year old guy looking to move to Atlanta from Athens. I’m planning to live alone and was looking for recommendations for neighborhoods.
I’d prefer to be near a few good restaurants some venues for shows and am hoping to be near a metro line. I do have a car but hoping to not use it as much. Would prefer to be in a safe area where rent isn’t outrageous. A 1bedroom/1bath around $1500/month is ideal.
Okay so I posted about a month ago asking if it would be possible for me to live in the city. There were tons of recommendations. I’ve decided I want to get an apt in the areas I listed above. -Salary 65k -No car note -1br
Moving from another country, and landed on the dunwoody/sandy springs area particularly right around the target/marta station. How is the area around perimeter mall to live? Young couple, no kids and budget is pretty high.
I'm looking for an apt in atlanta that isn't strict on the criminal background check. I have a felony on my record, but I have a decent job, and can afford to pay rent (up to 1400), and can pay a risk fee if need be. It's hard because I hear of other felons having a hard time getting an apt because of the background check. It's discouraging and I'm basically rebuilding my life, and I don't want to back track. Any help or advice is very much appreciated
We live in Alpharetta/Milton border and are renting currently. We are new to Georgia, and are now planning to buy a house.
Since we have not been in GA for more than 10months, I would really appreciate if you all can help me with the best areas around to raise a family. We have a 3yo and a 2mo old, so we would really want to live in a neighborhood where we would have young kids, so our kids would have company. We would also want to keep school districts in mind. What other factors should we consider before buying a house? Budget is 550-650k.
Looking to buy close to West Midtown. Went to look at houses both in Liberty Park and West Highlands. Thoughts/opinions on these two neighborhoods? So many houses for sell in Liberty Park, is that an indicator it’s not a great area?
Hello!
I’m looking for a rental property (apartment, house, or possibly a room) near Clark Atlanta University for the upcoming semester.
Just some notes
Budget: $800–$1,150/month (a little flexible)
Location: Ideally within walking distance or a short commute to Clark Atlanta University.
Preferred Move-In Date: July 7th (but I’m open to an August move-in date as well)
Lease Duration: 6 months (July-Dec), but I can consider a 1-year lease though.
If you know of anything available or have any leads, feel free to message me!
Thanks for your help guys! 😊
What are the best complex to lease apartment by the airport? Or whos renting a one bedroom apartment. NO ROOMMATE. PET FRIENDLY
My lady and I will be moving to the Atlanta area in March, I currently work in Alpharetta. Trying to find a decent apartment complex has been an absolute nightmare. One of the spots we did tour rejected me because of a weapons charge of mine that wasn’t completed five years prior to applying. That’s totally fine, I just wanna make sure we’re not paying admin fees for places with rules like that.
I’ve been reading through some of the posts that are already here and will be looking into apartment locators as another option. I’m pretty open minded to if it’s a house or an apt. 1900 cap for rent, 2 bed 2 bath with 1000+sqft. We have a dog and a cat that are both ESAs. My lady works crisis on the 988 line so we definitely don’t wanna end up in a college neighborhood because of the noise.
Thank you in advance! 🙌🙌
