Just kidding about the marriages.
Rockabilly, dubstep, electronic, urban poetry, rock 'n' roll - music in Atlanta.
When posting about a show, please include in the subject line: the date and start time, venue, musician(s). If it's a self post, in the description please include more info such as an event link, price, genre style.
Please do not downvote posts if you don't dig the music! We like to represent a diverse selection of genres from local, national and international artists and hate to see anything get pummeled. Remember: you may not like the music personally, but someone else may!

I’m itp. drop recs. love you thanks.
Songwriter, singer, and pianist here looking for recommendations as I get ready to launch my next studio project.
I've released an EP and some singles, and my first full-length original album is in the final stages of production for release early next year. I'm looking ahead to my next record, which I want to get to work on very soon.
My current producer is GREAT and I love working with him, but he mostly works in Nashville which can make logistics tough. Plus, the sound for this next record is what I can best describe as "female rage" and I'm interested in exploring how creative collaboration with another woman might bring that aesthetic to life.
My sound is indie acoustic/pop. Lots of my work is very piano-forward. Any suggestions for an Atlanta-based producer who might fit the bill for this project?
Title pretty self explanatory. I have been playing guitar for 27 years and have played all over the country. Looking to join or start a project. I have pro gear and transportation and I like to collaborate when writing.
I am hoping to find a group of folks that are around my age but if you’re good, over 18, drug (pot is fine) and drama free…hit me up and let’s chat
Hey! The band I'm booking is going to be playing in ATL in March. What are some grunge/pop punk bands to be looking out for?
hello. I released an album called ‘mind control in atlanta.’ Please check it out. Thanks!

It’ll be a super fun show and a great way to kick off the year!
Any local indie bands on here have Christmas music up on Spotify? I’m putting together a Spotify playlist of local Christmas tunes and I’m looking for more. If you have a song or know of some, please let me know!
My band is opening for Emergency Introspective and Khaliko, its a free show and anyone can enter
Hi guys, I'm part of a new indie folk / rock band that has shown mild success a couple weeks after our EP release, we're up to almost 2k monthlies on spotify. I would love some advice on where to start, though; I'd love to just be able to open for other local artists, but I feel like my emails to essentially all relevant venues are just shouting at the wind.
Do you guys ask other artists directly to make a bill together? Do you work through a booking agent of some kind? I want to capitalize on the surprise success we've had so far and get to performing so that we don't let the little moment end but I don't even know where to start.
so im turning 18 this week and i wanted to go to this show at the masquerade thats 18+, however the show is the night before my birthday at around 10pm … question is will i be allowed in since ill be 18 in just a couple of hours??
The Funk Maysons with special guest opener Predawn Pours play Friday the 13th at 8:00. Come get your El Tesoro and some tasty drafts and listen to local rock and funk music!

Im a bassist looking to play with some cool people close to the 478 area preferably, Im currently 17 y/o and ive been playing bass for about 3 years, im into stuff like Coal Chamber, Staind, Chevelle, Godsmack, etc, hoping to find ppl on here
Singer, songwriter, and pianist here. I've released 1 EP and a handful of singles and I'm excited to release my first full-length album in a few months: 12 original songs. My genre is best described as indie pop, but it's definitely leaned into jazz/lounge in the past as well.
I'd love to start booking some gigs in Atlanta, but it seems like a vicious cycle: people don't want to book you without management, and people don't want to represent you without bookings. I've been active on social media and trying to do open mic types of stuff just to get exposure around town but am really interested in investing in a manager/agent: both for PR purposes and for bookings. Just not sure where to start and would love some tips on how one goes about getting one/any recommendations!
What I have right now:
Looking for interesting music venues to check out while in town. Alternative and weird is good, but really anything that is creative and interesting would be appreciated. Hyper local is a bonus. No big concert halls, more smallish venues. Thank you.
Hey yall! I just moved to Atlanta in May and have been trying to join a band since graduating! I’m a vocalist primarily and have been singing in front of crowds through high school and college! (I have also played guitar for a few years) feel free to message me!
Im seeing the front bottoms tn, but I got tickets a little bit late for me and my gf, so I got stuck with balcony seats; I have a friend who's going with her cousin. They have floor tickets. Would it be possible to just sneak in with them onto the floor or not?
I've never been to masquerade before, you walk inside the venue and go where? Any tips on attending an event here?
Howdy everyone. If you previously played at Ideal Sports Bar, I just wanna let you know they scrubbed their Instagram of the majority of things related to what happened on December 1st, 2024. From the looks of it they are trying to just sweep it under the rug. I’d suggest you contact them to take down any footage of your performances making it seem like a safe venue for your audience. Check it out yourself!
