Current Posting Rules:

- 2. All posts must be videos OR
- 3. Articles with embeded video.
- 4. All videos must be 360°.
- 5. Videos must be 2k+ resolution.
- 6. Don't post NSFW content.
- 7. No self / text posts.
What about /r/360video?
/r/360video is awesome and will no doubt continue to be the best place for all kinds of 360° videos, regardless of format, viewing device, or presence of stereo 3d.
/r/VR Videos, however, a few months from now will switch to accepting stereo 3d videos only and only accept video submissions that are in formats that work immediately with VR headsets, hassle free. So this subreddit will serve a different purpose with stricter posting guidelines, including eventually disallowing article posts so that every submission is a direct video link, and resolution requirements.
Those formats are trickling out, but not here quite yet. In the mean time you will only some small difference in content and will undeniably find much better content and discussion on /r/360video.
In the end, both subreddits will be serving different purposes, this subreddit slightly more restricted. For the moment this sub is just in preparation stages for the VR boom of 2016.

I always loved playing Mario Kart at the arcade. Something about having the steering wheel and pedals made the game that much more awesome! Playing this in VR, with my sim racing rig, has been so nostalgic. I feel like a kid at the arcade again!
