Hi, I currently live in a West Grace south suite on the fourth floor. Would anyone in a GRC 3 2 person or 4 person be willing to do a room switch? I'm looking for a roomate who does not smoke. My suitemates are pretty cool, we're all art kids, I just want to move to a GRC 3 suite
any parties this weekend?
Does anyone know if there's a place on campus to try out instruments for free? I know it's a stretch, but I just wanted to see. Thanks
Hello I was just wondering if any other students were looking for roommates. It would be me and my boyfriend looking for a room we don’t mind if it’s another couple or just another person. We both have good jobs (been employed for a couple years at the same place) and just started at VCU this fall. We are just looking to move in together as we have been dating for 2 1/2 years and just think it’s time. We are of course looking for our own place but stuff is expensive so we are struggling to find our own place in our price range (~1000 a month not including utilities). If anyone has a room or maybe taking over a lease we would be open to just about anything at this point. Don’t comment if you’re a serial killer or something just someone cool lol. I am a pharmaceutical science major and he is computer engineering. Thanks for any consideration!
Note: I know how to recognize scams so if you don’t have a legit room to rent then don’t comment. The only reason I am posting on reddit is because I was hoping it would be another student who has a room so if you’re not a VCU student don’t comment
why tf grubhub keep cancelling my orders bruh
Does anyone know a person that has graduated early with CS at Vcu and would you recommend doing it if you have experience and the credits?
Anyone else struggling to find a job????

hey i'm a prospective transfer student hoping to go to VCU next semester. i've grown up in RVA but i don't know a whole lot about VCU other than academics. what are your favorite things about VCU and the surrounding areas?
Where are the best places on campus to take a nap? Im a commuter and I don’t really like taking naps in my car. I have a class at in the morning and one in the afternoon so I have like a 5hr gap in between my classes.
Do they announce ur latin honor during graduation? Like if u get a summa cum laude do they say it along with your name?
guys we’re like 3 weeks in and i know like maybe 2 people who will semi-consistently talk to me and it’s very demoralizing walking around bc i’m like the only person on this campus who isn’t in a pair or a group
Hey y'all so I'm not good with intros so im just going to jump right into it. I have unfortunatly been suspeneded form my previous university for the second time due to some hardships that took a toll on me and my acadmeics. The first time I got suspened I will admit I played around and found out, but I was blessed with an appeal and came back my to finish my sophmore year. That year was my best year, I even earnerd a scholarship to learn Arabic. But due to hardtimes I faced my Junior year I suffered greatly. I've since then been in community college (getting my associates this spring) and at the end of this year I'll be joining the Air Force reserves to help pay for school. I say all of this to ask due to my history of academics do you think that I should just cut my loses with VCU or apply and see what happens? I appreciate any advice! Thank you!
Hi all,
Been living in RVA for a little over two years now working as an engineer and decided to apply to the MBA program. Got accepted but it says that my residency is out of state.
Here is a little breakdown of myself:
Is there anything that would stop me from get in-state tuition?
What are some stores near here that have pets in them all the time? I just found out kicks booming has a frenchie and was wondering how many more stores have pets.
I’m looking for a job/gig in the VCU area. I haven’t had a job before, so I have no job experience. I already know that there are some surveys that I can take on campus for some money.
Hi everyone!
So me and my friend are hoping to go to UVA this weekend, but when we look up busses, they all say it's an 8 hour drive (since the busses go up to DC first, then back down). And Amtrak doesn't take to Charlottesville. Neither of us have a car as we're both freshmen. I was wondering if anyone has made the trip there and knows if there's another way we can get there! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Is there anyone else in the Outdoor LLC this year?
does vcu help any with insurance programs?
anyone else having trouble
Can anyone at ascend rva tell me how the apartments are plus rent and amenities. I’m planning on getting it next year.
i don't suppose anyone knows where i might be able to get a couch in a college students price range 😭 the facebook groups aren't doing it for me right now
i haven’t submitted my application yet but i’m getting ready to, i should fall into the guaranteed university admission because i have above a 3.5, so i’m wondering does that speed things up at all?
i’m getting stopped like 3 times a day this point. when i say i don’t have cash, they get aggressive and tell me to go to an atm. when i tell them i don’t have a debit card to withdraw cash from, they keep arguing about how i can get money for them with my credit card (which ive tried to do but have been unsuccessful).
i’m a petite girl and the men getting aggressive with me is very scary and i feel like i have no other options. i’ve starting carrying several $10 bills around just to give it to them so they leave me alone. but this didn’t sustainable at all for me. what do you guys do? thanks.
