Hey guys,
I’m from London and moving to Dubai as my husband has a growing business there. I’m looking for a job in the e-commerce field. I used to work at Amazon but it’s not a company I want to go back to.
I have a glowing reference from my last employer. Can anyone help me with good recruitment companies and tips? I have 8 years work experience - what salary range should I look at? Could I get a relocation package?
I’ve also worked in Amsterdam so I have more exposure. Thank you!
I was not so surprised when I read that the UAE is making rapid progress in implementing gaming regulations, outpacing the EU in some areas.
They’re reportedly working to establish clear frameworks for the gaming industry, from eSports to online gambling, while the EU seems to be bogged down with lengthy debates and fragmented approaches across member states.
It’s interesting to see a smaller region like the UAE take the lead in what’s becoming a huge global industry.
According to an article: In 2023, the UAE established the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), and by 2024, it introduced a licensing framework, laying the groundwork for a regulated market and making the UAE a regional competitor in gaming tourism.
Do you think this fast-paced regulation is a good thing that ensures growth and safety? Or could rushing lead to potential missteps compared to the EU’s slower, more deliberate approach?
Hope you are well. If you are currently looking for a role in the UAE. More specifically DUBAI . Then message me privately.
This is for a position as a property consultant.
Massive opportunity for people who want to make an absolute killing.

Idk where to ask this so I'm J's going with this sub, If your completing ur 12th late, like almost at 19, can you register for bachelors degree (in buisness eg) at 18 or late 17 with like, sm diploma? Are there any diplomas that can be used instead of 12th grad, because one of the institution here are offering level 3 OTHM and saying you can enroll in bachelors degree afterwards, but I'm not sure if they're that legit.

Hello! I am preparing to arrive at DXB and do the medical test on the same day. The medical center says that it is possible to come without an appointment. RAKEZ says that to book an appointment I must submit visa stamp on arrival and wait for "change of status". That makes me loose some fays.
My question is: can I do medical test without an appointment in the meanwhile before "change of status" is finalized? Can I then present my results immediately as soon as "change of status" is finalized?
Hi all. Could anyone recommend a good hiking trail in Al Ain? I am planning to go during the upcoming long weekend.

I’m 18 years old and I’m a part of a youth-led NGO. I was wondering how I’ll be able to host a clean up drive and if it’s possible here in the UAE(specifically sharjah or dubai)? I’m looking on doing clean up drives for beaches or streets if permitted. Are there any rules, requirements or procedures I have to so?

How difficult is it to get a job in accounting/tax with two years of experience? Also how much should I earn to live comfortably?
I submitted my application right now via the EmaraTax portal, my deadline is 30th November for registration of tax as my incorporation date was 4th September 2024. Will I be fined for late submission?
Also, RAKEZ issued 4 different licenses to me but only 1 incorporation certificate, is the corporate tax filed at the incorporation certificate level or license level?
hello everyone, I applied for the MOE scholarship for the Spring intake, and I received a personal interview invitation on November 27th. When I went to book the interview, the nearest available date was December 5th, which has made the situation a bit unclear. The scholarship result announcement was supposed to be on November 29th. Is this timing normal, or should I be concerned? Additionally, the deadline to accept my offer is November 30th, so I’m unsure of what to do.
Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of getting a driving license in Ajman. I talked to an instructor and she told me that there is a 8500 AED unlimited package. Is it a fair price or a scam? Any recent experiences or advice would be helpful.
Thank you in advance!

I assume (correct me if I’m wrong) that leasing a car is more benefital than buying one as an expat, or less risky than buying a used one. I have no experience in the UAE and afraid to get scammed.
Can you please recommend good lease companies? Also those we can buy from, I’ll compare either way
Thank you!
