I recently changed my residence visa from TECOM freezone to DAFZA freezone, within the process, I had to put my little one’s visa in hold (5,000 + typing fees via Amer). Had a bit of a hiccup with my UID, but it got sorted in the end and I now have my new visa. Amer center said it automatically releases the hold once the new visa is issued, but when they try to process the refund, apparently there’s an OTP error, where it cannot generate the OTP from their side, and it seems it’s not updated. I tried going to the main Immigration office but they keep pointing me back to Amer. Has anyone faced similar issues? Appreciate any insight and steps to take to get the refund.

Hey y'all. I've been contacted by this company called Coral Wealth Investment.They say they invest in so many industries which yields high returns. They Gave me an investment offer which gives 36% return per year, for two years, when you invest a 100k AED,and returns (profits) can be withdrawn every month. When I asked for the security of my investment, they said the contract will be attested by Dubai chamber of commerce. It sounded legit to me, but obviously I need to do my part before commiting to something like this. Does anyone have experience working with them, or how safe are these types of investments. I appreciate everyone's two cents!!!

I signed up for a promotion with a bank here in the UAE after speaking with one of their agents. The deal was that if I opened a savings account, a current account, and got a credit card, I’d receive a reward (I’m not saying what it is to keep the bank anonymous). They also mentioned that if I spent 5k AED on the credit card in the first month, I’d get 500 AED cashback. Everything sounded good, and the agent said that within 90 days, I’d get an email about the reward and shipment details.

Well, 90 days came and went... and nothing. I reached out to the bank, and when I called, I found out my agent no longer worked there. I asked for help, and the bank told me that I wasn’t eligible for the promotion because I didn’t keep a certain balance in my account. They also told me that now, I’d need to wait 5 months instead of the original 3.

Honestly, it’s not the end of the world since I wasn’t relying on the reward, but it’s definitely frustrating. I have the WhatsApp messages from the agent where it clearly states that I’ve completed everything for the cashback and reward, and that I just needed to wait 3 months.

At this point, I’m planning to close all my accounts with this bank and just move on. But does anyone have advice on whether there’s anything I can do with those WhatsApp records? I feel like I’ve been misled, and it’d be great to get some insight on how to handle this.

Hello Can someone help me Today in the morning me and my father in law got our medical done at smart salem I already had my medical request paper typed at amer from where we applied for our visa while my father in law was asked to have his typed at the salem centre itself . How do we see the result so that we can proceed with applying for renewal of visa ? I have read that the results are uploaded within 30 mins if done at a salem centre but I am unable to confirm this as i can't see any available option for viewing the medical result . Do they email it to us? As they just viewed my paper but never took my email address nor did the amer guy add any email it phone number on the application paper . Tia !
