so in about 3 weeks I will be sent to UAE, Dubai first time for my job. If all goes good I will be a regular visitor each at the latest 3-6 months. I would love to explore a bit with an expat/local the region and get familiar with the culture etc. How should I approach finding someone who is willing to hang out and do activities together? I don't necessarily want to go on dating apps even though I am single and potentially could. 2. Does anyone have any experience with NYU Abu Dhabi (either they live in UAE or traveled abroad) or know people who have attended? I hear that universities in the UAE aren’t that good due to the country not being that like.. old? I guess? Asking because I am applying to NYU New York, and my second campus is Abu Dhabi. People who apply to the Abu Dhabi one have a better chance of acceptance.
