Hi guys Recently I applies for clearance certificate online on their Smart service on Shj municipality website, but it is showing New Request status for more than a week. Last time when I applied for tenancy renewal it was approved with in a day. Any possible reason on this? I uploaded all the possible documents it may need, including NOC, emirates id, title deed, contract … Currently I already moved to another emirates which makes me hard to visit Sharjah after work so I really hope it goes through online. Anyone who had got the certificate successfully online any tips would be appreciated!

For people living in Sharjah can they please confirm if Sewa Bill is higher than Dewa?

I am shifting to Sharjah next month but I got to know from my colleagues that Sewa bills are higher so even if you are saving on rent the Sewa Bill will compensate for that saving..

Like my colleague said if you pay 2700 for a studio in Dubai and 300-400 for Dewa and if you pay 2000 for a studio in Sharjah your Sewa Bill will be 1000 AED so it makes no sense shifting to Sharjah if you think you can save on rent.

Now I am really confused if is it worth moving to Sharjah.

My office is in Dubai Sharjah border so traffic is not an issue for me. Hardly it will take 30-45 mins to reach office that's why I planned to move to Sharjah but now I am reconsidering if what I heard is actually true.

I just had my first-ever accident while parking, and I’m feeling terrible about it. I was trying to park, and for some reason, my foot couldn’t find the brake in time. I ended up hitting my neighbor’s already parked car.

He wasn’t home at the time, but I immediately informed him, got his license details, and reported it with Rafid. I paid AED 385 for the report. My neighbor was incredibly kind about it, reassured me that it’s alright, and said we’ll handle it. Still, I feel awful because it was 100% my fault.

Since this is my first time dealing with an accident and filing a report, I wanted to ask: What’s the next step now? Will my insurance cover his damages? (I assume it will since it was my fault.) Do I need to do anything else on my end?

For those who’ve been in a similar situation, how did you handle it?

Across the street, there are bushes where stolen scooters are reportedly hidden, and illegal activities are taking place in nearby buildings. Addressing this issue would help ensure fair enforcement and community safety.

Hi guys. Im m22 and have been in uae for 3 years. Moved here from a gulf country but im not arab. Ever since i moved to uae ive felt lost and so alone. Ive been in uni for 2 years but failed to make even a single friend. I am an introvert and keep in mind that I have never had a single irl female friend, except a few online ones. It feels a bit weird looking at everyone at Uni having friend groups and enjoying their time in Uni while I am all by myself. Because of all this loneliness, I’ve been feeling really empty and suicidal. I tried my level best whatever I could do to make friends, but nothing really worked out. My social life has also been affecting my academics And lately I’ve been feeling that whatever I do, I won’t succeeded, and I always be feeling a failure. Tbvh I’m tired of everything and feel lost.
