The guard told me “we don’t allow to come in private” I should come with broker or get some permission from office. To be honest that is my last visit there. So basically I parked in majaz yesterday, and although in my head I knew yesterday was a friday(1/11/2024), i thought shj might have some rule where there is no free parking in majaz regardless of day. So i checked the parking meter just in case , and it said public holiday free etc etc. Today i wake up , i see a parking ticket. If it hadnt said public holiday and its free and I wld have paid. My usual payment method is thru meters since i usually dont have credit since i use a prepaid package. Any solution?

I am not against anyone celebrating but come on have some sense of not using fireworks post 9PM. It started from 7pm and still going on. Sooo loud!!!!! People come to their house after a long day and expect some peaceful night to sleep.

I’m new to the UAE, i have a canadian drivers license and was wondering as i’ve read on the internet in some places that people with canadian drivers license can get the uae drivers license directly? Is this correct or do i need to go through the entire theory and driving test process?

P.s : i dont have a canadian passport, just lived in canada for 5 years and have a license (G2) and 2 years worth of driving experience if that helps..
