Hi y’all I’m a fresh graduate with 2 internship experience in Dubai. I’ve been trying to find a job in my field of architectural engineer for 3 months with no response from anyone. Seems like referrals is a big thing. Also what’s the future of architects in Dubai with all the trash salaries I’m hearing? Should I consider moving to a different country to boost up my career?
Can somebody suggest me a reliable, quick and affordable option for online payment link for my small business in dubai. I have a business bank account with Mashreq NEOBiz, if that can be linked or Mashreq facilitates such option?
So, I recently came here asking if anyone could know of any open job positions remotely. So, at the time, there were only rumours the company I worked for 7 years could be closed. Yesterday the rumor came true and was shut down as the business is no longer sustainable from a dwindling economy. Yesterday was the last day of work, and it's disheartening not having income. I am a Digital Marketer with 12 years experience and currently pursuing my Masters in Corporate Communication. Any leads to remote job openings will be highly appreciated. Many Thanks.

Hi everyone,
I’m looking to invest in a property in Dubai, aiming for a high ROI, but I’m focused on a ready property rather than anything off-plan. I’ve noticed that a lot of the advice tends to skew toward off-plan properties due to developer incentives, but I'm more interested in something I can start generating returns on immediately. Almost all of the real estate agents I talk to (I have over 75 on my whatsapp) after showing me one or 2 properties bombard me with launches.
My budget is 2M and can be stretched slightly for a good deal , but ideally, I'd want a property that performs well for rental income. I’m looking at areas popular with expats and tourists where demand is strong, but I’m still on the fence about the best neighborhoods to focus on.
Questions:
Would appreciate any insights from people who have experience in Dubai’s real estate market or who have invested in ready properties here. Thanks in advance!
I have provided a legal eviction notice issued by Dubai Court on 26th February 2024 to ky tenant to vacate the property as i will be moving it with my family.
His current tenancy contract expires Jan 15th 2025.
On oct 15th i sent him the revised tenancy contract for the period of Jan 16th 2025 - Feb 25th 2025 with same rent to be paid for the additional 6 weeks. I told him to sign and send by 29th october. Hes not replied to my email or my whatsapp.
Just wondering what are my options here and how do I proceed. He does not seem to want to vacate.
Gf had to do some modifications to a bracelet, so we got pulled into the workshop lab of a popular gold 💎 shop. So there you go , snapped a few clips and did a quick edit on the vibes it gave me.
Hello,
I am an Iranian student in the United Arab Emirates, I am currently in the commerce field but have decided to change into some form of engineering field.
However, I need advice on what other Iranians are currently doing in the UAE. Iranians are somewhat restricted in many ways like opening a bank account and passing security clearances etc. I have never seen an Iranian working in some kind of professional field like engineering or medical (aside from Iranian Hospital of course).
That's why I just need some insight on what Iranians are doing in Iran. If you're an employed Iranian, what do you currently do? what kind of difficulties do you face on a daily basis?
I am mainly looking into a mechanical field like Manufacturing or Aircraft Maintenance.
I would greatly appreciate any comments which gives me some insight, even if you just know an Iranian like a colleague, friend, or acquaintance.
Any comment positive or negative is welcome and feel free to ask more questions.
Thank you
I faced a scam in dubai from a company . I want to know if I write a google review against them is that fine ? I heard its not so oky
Hey everyone!
I’m excited about the idea of moving to Dubai for 3-6 months and would love your insights! I’m planning to bring my own agency with me, hoping to set it up in one of the free zones. I have a budget of around 2,000 Euros (about 8,000 AED) for living expenses.
I’d really appreciate your thoughts on a few things:
I’m really looking forward to this adventure, and any advice you can share would be super helpful! Thanks a ton! 😊
Dear Reddit Scrollers, My father (52y/o) was happily working in a company for the past 12 years and his recent title being a Brand Manager, was laid off along with few other employees back 8 months ago.
Unfortunately he is yet to come across an opportunity for work that fits the needs of our family and himself as an individual. He has experience in Sales (FMCG) for years and can contribute to better figures for an organization even today.
I’m aware that age could be an issue but it pains to see him this way everyday and i’m aware that it could definitely get better someday. however, if at all anyone here is able to help out. do tell 🙏🏻
Hi everyone,
I am wondering if companies in the UAE, specifically Dubai, nowadays are open to relocating skilled individuals?
Especially if no visa is required and I am fluent in the language?
As you will see, I had already spent a good amount of time in Dubai prior to being in Germany.
In fact, i was born and raised in Dubai and I am a GCC national (Bahraini) hence why i do not need a visa to live and work in the UAE nor in any other GCC nation (due to perks of being a GCC national, similar to how EU nationals move and work and live freely unrestricted in the EU).
I am not trying to "boast" here, but rather state facts, in case there is a prospective employer or person that has an interest in my profile and is willing to hire me :)

I wonder, considering everything going on these days geopolitically, and the state of several economies globally post the Ukraine/Russia war and the Israeli war against Palestine, if salaries have gone down in the UAE compared to how they used to be?
I am flexible with the salary, because i just need a company to be willing to help me relocate (pay for the flight ticket and 1 month's accommodation in Dubai or wherever in the UAE i would have a job.
I am in a situation where i had moved to Germany because i wanted to tryout the european experience and now that i see what life is really like in the EU... i can easily say, The UAE is one of the best places in the world to live and work in. Keep in mind i also lived in the UK for a while pre-BREXIT so i can tell you how it was back then and have a bit of perspective there.
the problem is i do not have enough saved up to move back and pay on my own for a month until i find a job in the UAE because, i lost my job back in July (as per the LinkedIn profile i shared here) due to the company going bankrupt because to the current political and economical crisis in Germany when it comes to the automobile industry... there is too much competition, price wars when it comes to electric vehicles. I am claiming unemployment benefits but there are not enough for me to save up enough, but just enough to survive.
Fun fact: i know some would jump at the opportunity to say "ohhhhh you GCC nationals are rich and do not struggle so why would you need a company to relocate you?" and to that i say, we are not all as rich as how you portray us and we struggle with life just the next average joe next to us.... so please refrain from such comments. Just because i don't need a visa, I am a GCC national does not make me rich, or never have struggled in my life like others would have.

Good afternoon everyone,
In my home country, we had something like a consumer protector, against company mal practice, called an Ombudsman.
I'd like to complain to a similar authority about the horrible experience/service received by a medical aid provider in Dubai.
Would anyone have a reference or lead in this regard?
Looking for the local favourites. I went to Mohammad Ikbal and I'm going to the Daily Express this week. BKK station was amazing Thai. Any others?
I am in Dubai, belong to India. I have diabetes type 2. I used to live for sweets and now I feel like I am incomplete without them.
Where can I find Indian desserts in Dubai? I tried puranmal in karama, but it's really sad what they claim and made as sugar free dessert.
I am a chef myself and if food isn't good it only belong to dustbin.
I often make Indian sugar free desserts at home, but it would be good to buy and sit in a restaurant and eat (but only if it's high quality) rather than toil for hours.
I can't even begin to tell about how badly I am loosing my hair, it's been 2 years I tried everything
From home remedies, mindfully washing hair, being gentle while drying, shower filters, expensive shampoos and conditionera
But it is getting worse and worse, i am loosing so many hair on each wash and everytime I comb,
Please please let me know if you have anything that atleast has better results.
Evening at Burj khalifa
Hi All,
I’m thinking to rent an apartment in Stella Maris and there is hardly any thread / review on this building. Other than traffic, what are the cons of staying here ? My office is in JLT and I’m on with 20-30 mins of traffic each side .
Thanks for your replies !
