January 16th is Star Trek Voyager's 30th anniversary, hopefully we get something to commemorate it - like an event or giveaway

I hope we get a ship event like the Typhoon one, in which we get a ship we saw in the first episode of Voyager - the Kazon carrier. That would be nice considering they have the ship model in game. It can be MW Juggernaut or maybe Tactical carrier with 2 hangar bays. It's enormous ship.

Has anybody else recently seen how fast Hive Onslaught TFO finishes??!

So as the title says. Recently, every time i have joined the Hive Onslaught TFO, it somehow finishes up so quickly before i can breathe in & out.

Has anybody else seen it and can it be another player with it's Harry Potter space magic?

Or is it Q being funny again?

What to do when your ship selected for a Campaign Event does not appear in the inventory?

Title. It happened to me. I've already opened a ticket.

    Not impressed with the typhoon

The looks are just OK (to me anyway). The weapons, maybe have potential but it seems the advanced phaser arrays have better stacks. The tier 5 trait, meh and even at x2 it's still a console short of the terran lexxie (that has a hangar) so what's the big deal?

    Undine carrier

So I was going through lobi lockbox and other ships and noticed...there is no undine carriers. You would think there would be but the closest you get is undine console.

So wondering what people would think a undine carrier would be like?

Massive graphical stuttering with Repurposed Cargo Bay Hangar trait and Advanced/Elite pets?

Did a search for this and can't find anyone mention it anywhere, so I just wanted to check if it's only me or other people are experiencing this bug and may not have identified the source.

I noticed my game massively lagging seemingly at random in TFOs and missions and eventually identified it's because of the Repurposed Cargo Bay Hangar trait and Advanced or Elite pets. If I hover over the launch pets button in the pet tray area the frame rate significantly goes down, like to a comically bad ~15 FPS. It continues to remain this way as long as I stayed moused over the launch pet button, but the moment I move the cursor away the game instantly jumps back to normal frame rate.

I've tested it in my Compiler and Typhon and both do not cause graphical lag when using basic pets, but when I switch out for Advanced or Elite pets the lag is always there when I mouse over the launch pets button.

Before I report it as a bug, has anyone else experienced this?

Edit: I have submitted a ticket for this now. If you encounter(ed) this issue yourself please submit a ticket as well so Cryptic takes note.

    DPS Sustainment

Basically, how do I sustain my DPS? I am not quite sure how to do that. I’ll start off really well and then it trickles down to almost a fraction of what it was at the beginning. I try to click and mash the spacebar as much as possible, but things tend to slow down quickly it seems. I’ve put my build into TRINITY as best as I could and it’s saying I could have up to 500+k DPS or something crazy. I may not have built that correctly though.

Any help to understand some would be greatly appreciated!

    Lower Decks hair question...

So, can everyone use the Vulcan bob on anyone and the Rutherford only on Engineering characters? I was revising one of my engineering boffs and remembered that I had the new hairdos. I thought that the Rutherford might look nice on my tactical FA, however, the Rutherford doesn't show up as an option. The Vulcan Bob option is available on both the engineering boff and my tactical FA.

    Or is it just me?

    Eleos Intel Scout Vessel [T6]

Originally a decommissioned Starfleet "Expeditionary Medical Ship", the Eleos Intel Scout Vessel was used by the Mariposas to provide medical care to those in need. While you can still see its origins on the broad construction of the starship, her time spent on missions meant that spare parts and replacements had to be procured and adapted from the local available stock, and when that failed custom solutions had to be implemented.

Console Power - Custom Power Matrix

This console handles a series of custom wiring and system overhauls meant to improve the overall management of power across the entire starship. It comes with 3 preprogrammed specialized routines meant to divert power from one of three subsystems into other parts of the energy matrix. Activating any of these routines will increase the performance of Bridge Officers. Diverting power from Shields will boost your weapons’ Firing Cycle, diverting power from Auxiliary will increase your weapons’ Critical Chance, and diverting power from the Engine will increase your weapons’ Critical Severity. All 3 routines can be online at the same time.

Can you make your currentship look like another ship?

I REALLLY liked the look of my Scott Class Cruiser. But also like the carrier pet play style of my new flight deck carrier.

Is does STO have a "Transmog" / "Glamour" system to make my new Flight Deck Carrier look like my Scott Class Cruiser?

    ROM T6 Infinity Promo ship?

On my alt ROM toon (L65 tac) I'm looking for recommendations on a ROM (KDF aligned) T6 ship either from the promo infinity box or from the c-store as I have both options.

Prefer cannon heavy but not so squishy, need commander tac or at least commander universal seat, and I run plasma sets just for being ROM specific.

Not looking for major DPS at the expense of survivability - needs to be a balanced build/ship.

Currently running the T6 destroyer from a lifetime sub but it's not great.

Why do my ships look so weird? I can`t change the colour/don't know how if not in earth space dock. Is this a bug or am I just stupid and can't find the setting?

Where to use T6 upgrade tokens

Hi all. I'm closing in on L40 on my first toon (Fed) and by a quirk of timing I'll be getting both the Nagus and Temp Typhoon tomorrow. I'm F2P and casual, so won't be investing in any packs, and these are likely to be my only T6 ships for a good while. I'm currently playing beams (can I choose an all beam selection from the wep packs that come with the ships?), with the odd torp slot filled. Which of these would be the best all rounder for me going forward, and which will get me the most use out of my token(s). Thanks.

    Voicelines missing?

I'm a newer player to STO, but I noticed that while trying to play the missions, my crew isn't voiced anymore, and their mouths don't even move when they should be talking. Is this a bug? The voices were working fine during the tutorial.
