The error happens as in the title with piper TTS. xVASynth works just fine but it's too heavy for my PC to handle so I must use piper. The error happens with every NPC.
I've been playing Skyrim normally with over 1900 mods just fine, but after 're-installing' Skyrim on steam I've had this error. Anyone know how to help me?
Hi, I just started a new modlist, I have a few mods, such as Skyland, Lux, Embers XD, Rudy ENB and Sounds of Skyrim. I am having a bug in which my Player Character has no voice when attacking. and this mod is not working https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/71567?tab=description. Which could be the issue?
Game version 1.6.1170
Hi, I hope someone can help me. A few weeks ago, I formatted my computer but saved the MO2 folder and what I believe is an "instance" folder. Now I want to continue playing my save, but I don't know how to transfer all the mods or reinstall everything I had since I have quite a lot of mods, and I’d rather not configure them all over again. Is there a way to restore those folders, or would it be better to start from scratch? I'm using Mod Organizer, and sorry if there’s anything wrong with my phrasing.
I've been trying to mod Skyrim for about a week now, and I can't get it to work the way I want. I'm beginning to think it may be my computer specs. For the mods I have downloaded, I've checked the plugins and dependencies over and over, downloaded them, but Vortex keeps on listing missing dependencies or masters. I've also tried downloading a couple of collections but they didn't run properly - the game kept crashing.
I did try downloading GTS but on startup it just loads indefinitely, so I guess my computer can't run it. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling all the mods I have.
I'd like Skyrim (I have SE and the anniversary DLC) to look completely different and beautiful. Some of the mods I'd like to have and work are listed below. I'm definitely getting to the point where I'm out of my element and I'm looking for some help.
Illustrious Whiterun
Cites of the North
Bijin wives, warmaidens, NPCs
Enhanced blood textures
SMIM
Open cities
Immersive Citizens
Relationship Dialogue Overhaul
SKSE
Unofficial Skyrim Patch
Thuldor's Ivarstead
Rodryk's Dragon Bridge
ENBs
That one dodge mod
The melee mod that adds a wider swing to melee attacks
Computer specs:
Ryzen 5 3600x
16GM RAM
GTX 1660 Super

Hello, everyone. I’ve recently come back to Skyrim modding after many years and have decided that I want to create my ultimate playthrough. Now that may seem demanding to some, but I’m a pretty simple guy, so I’ve only got maybe 250-300 mods installed, and that includes all the obligatory bug fixes and ini file tweaks, etc., so it’s not actually a ton of mods. Anyway, I’m trying to do it right this time, and to that end I have for the first time installed Bethini and Synthesis, and I’ve taken time to learn about file settings and editing in xEdit. I downloaded all the patches LOOT has suggested, cleaned all the files with ITM records (including masters and CC content), and I’ve searched for any that might have deleted navmeshes, but the only one that does seems to be is Skyrim.exe, but my understanding is that this is intentional and unfixable. My xEdit does show a ton of conflicts but they are all data overwrites. Even my critical conflicts are overwrites. Yet, I still crash frequently during death loads and sometimes during fast travel. I have the saved game bug fix, ini tweaks, and plenty of RAM, and I even tweaked the ini to eliminate interior cell buffering, which actually did seem to fix my fast travel crash. My crash logger always lists various cells, such as Whiterun Exterior 01, which is a Skyrim.exe file. And these cells do have some worldspace conflicts that contain overwrites of objects placed with X Y Z vertices. My understanding is that these are NOT navmeshes but just objects that conflict. I’ve tried patching with xEdit, but sometimes the file cannot be dragged over to the new patch file. And in the case of the vertex edits, I have no idea which value should win the conflict. I also understand that, at least for navmesh conflicts, they can only really be resolved using the Creation Kit. I recently downloaded and installed the CK, and I’m willing to learn it a bit to resolve any conflicts that only it can fix, if necessary. But all of this has led me to some questions I can’t seem to find answers to anywhere. So…
Can these conflicts (mere data overwriting but also vertex conflicts) cause CTDs?
Are all vertex files “navmeshes”, or are some simply object placements?
How can vertex conflicts be resolved if they are not navmesh conflicts? For example, how do you rectify conflicting values in a way that will not cause a crash?
If you are reviewing conflicts in xEdit, and the final loaded mod in a conflict does not have any value in a particular field, does the value supplied by the last mod that does have a value in that field carry over to the game, or is it left empty by the last loaded mod that does not have a value for it? If it does not carry over, I can see some places that might cause a crash, because I did not patch them and assumed that the value would carry over because nothing was overwriting it. If this is hard to understand, consider this hypothetical: Mods 1, 2, and 3 have 3 conflicts, A, B, and C. However, mod 2 also has a D file that is not contained in mod 3. When mod 3 is loaded, does mod 2s D file remain because it is not over written, or does mod 3 essentially erase it? I wasn’t sure how to resolve or patch these differences in xEdit and could not find a direct answer anywhere.
And in xEdit, after you create a new patch file, and you try to copy or drag certain files over from one mod to the patch, sometimes they cannot be added to the patch. This is usually revealed by a “no” sign (a circle with a diagonal slash through it) when you try to drag the file to the patch. Why is that and what does this indicate?
I know the best thing to do is to probably disable mods using “The Method” to determine what ones are causing the problem, but I really want to learn how to resolve them to create the load order I want, if possible. Any assistance or info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Hey all, hoping somebody can help me figure this one out. a few weeks ago, I had a reproducible crash trying to enter the Windpeak Inn, which turned out to be a follower mod, but that mod is no longer in my new mod list, but the same door crash is now happening at the Vilemyr Inn in Ivarstead. any help on this would be greatly appreciated. and if necessary I have another crashlog from the same type of crash.
A while back I downloaded more nasty critters off lovers lab and am trying to fully delete the mod from my list but for whatever reason centurion still have their junk with a missing texture. Is there anyway to find and delete the mesh. I have the mod uninstalled and deleted any folders I could find in my data folder that were related. With the console and the centurion selected if I go to textures there is a reference to a steamcenturion_p1 but when I search for that in my data folder it says that it can't find any match.
If you need my load order it is here: https://pastebin.com/TtL1Pcrs
I have downloaded mod collections in the past with ease, but this week as i am trying to get back into skyrim, i can't. i open the collection, go to download in vortex but then in vortex it says that "Its intended for VR" there is no indication that it even supports VR, i am mainly trying to download this one as its the first one i see https://next.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/collections/qdurkx
could someone help me out?
This is my first time modding skyrim se so apologies for any noob questions.
The game seems to be running okay with my mo2 modlist, when I am in cities eg. Whiterun, my FPS is 60, but this drops to 30 when I am exploring outside of cities.
Are there any suggestions on what I need to change in my modlist, ENB settings, or other installations?
I noticed in the ENB menu my Mod video memory usage is 1107mb, can/should this be increased?
My PC Build includes:
AMD Ryzen 9900X
DDR5 64GB RAM
GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12GB
Just to note, I am using a 4k monitor that has a refresh rate of 60hz, so I know this is my FPS limit.
Thanks!
I only use EVG animations and while the attack animation is normal when I open a new save, after a while it only creates 1 animation.
I recently updated my game to the newest version and all of my mods with it. Everything ran fine until my C++ redistributable got corrupted, Skyrim wouldn't even open. I redownloaded it along with Engine Fixes and ever since I have been having occasional crashes when finishing a loading screen that seem to be caused by engine fixes. I am posting a pastebin for some help with a possible diagnosis and confirming my suspicions.
Edit: I see the bot saying to not use trainwreck, I will download a better crash logger and post it here on my next crash.
Hey everyone, I’m looking to get into Skyrim VR and am planning to use a relatively vanilla mod list, with a few visual enhancements but nothing too heavy. However, I do want to run Mantella as well. I have an ASUS ROG gaming laptop with the following specs: AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX (3.30 GHz) with Radeon Graphics AMD Radeon RX 6800M (12 GB VRAM) 32 GB RAM (Upgraded)
I have a Quest 3
Is this setup good to go for Skyrim VR with Mantella, or should I expect performance issues? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Help, when I enter jorrvaskr the game closes completely. I suppose I added something to jorrvaskr that is not compatible, but I have so many mods that I don't know which one it is.
Looking for lightweight land texture who can run on my potato PC, i use cathedral landscape before but become bored after years and want to tried others
So I am having issues with my SKSE-64. I run Skyrim on AE and I have the latest AE SKSE Version however it's saying SKSE isn't running and my race menu wont start as it's reading version 00000000 when it expects like 2.7. I am running the latest edition of Race menu and SKSE and I'm lost. I'm simply looking to get everything working again. Any Advice?
Hello, so I am starting my own personal modlist, from some time I always played with this mod on, also it's very standard in most modlists this days, but I always find annoying how with this mod all my characters tend to look overloaded with stuff since this automatically displays everything you have in favorites.
So my question is there any more minimalistic presets for this that maybe hide all tools like pickaxe, torches etc, and only show a weapon of each type for example, or any alternative mods that does something similar to this ? I would also be happy with vanilla style, show what you have equiped if I could have shields on the back and staffs displayed on my character.
Thanks before hand.
For some reason the mod doesn't work. Actually, it works, but not as it should. One example is that most NPCs don't have the "I need your services" dialogue option, except for a few with restrictions who also lose their dialogue when you help them with quests.
I'm playing the latest version of AE (1.6.1170.0). I don't know if I missed something or if there are compatibility issues. Honed Metal worked perfectly, and even after going back to some older versions (the only one that worked was legacy version), I still have the same issue. I don't remember installing any mods that interfere with its functioning.
I hope to receive some support.
Hi guys,
I am currently installing a whole lot of mods before I start a playthrough of the game. I want the game to be as complete and bugfree as possible before I start, because its not always possible to delete or add mods in an existing savegame.
I thing I come across constantly are patches. There are:
- Patches as specific mods on Nexus
- Patches as extra downloadable files on the Nexus page of a mod
- Patches in the FOMOD installer of the mods
What is the best policy on patches?
Do I need to search for every possible patch there is for every modcombination that I use and install them all? This will be a huge amount of patches and work.
Or do I need to only install the automatically selected patches in the FOMOD installer and only search for other patches if I come across bugs in the game? Is it even possible to add patches in an existing savegame? Even this is quite some work, because you need to reinstall every mod after the modlist is complete, to be able to select the patches from the FOMOD. Because before completing the modlist, you don't know which patches to select (or get autoselected).
Hi, everyone!
I'm looking to choose a weather mod for Skyrim SE and I’m currently considering three options: RAID Weathers, Cathedral Weathers, and Obsidian Weathers. My main priorities are performance and nighttime visibility.
If you've used any of these mods or have experience comparing them, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Any advice, pros/cons, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your help!
I am looking fór mod that just incrase vegetation in caves And dungeons (Sry for bad english)
So I have a pretty intensive modlist of around 1800 mods that works really well. Vast majority are visual. I get a stable 60 fps when doing most things, but frequently get these random stutters where it drops to 18-30 fps - can happen when running around or when in combat. More prevalent outdoors than in cities - cities seem pretty stable. How should I go about investigating this issue? What types of mods should I look at first? Very curious what the best approach here is. Thanks!
[FIXED] It was a .DLL problem.
Been having constant CTD before reaching title screen for the game. Haven't managed to pinpoint the cause sadly. Asking r/skyrimmods for help is all that's left before going on a binary search.

The default BFCO jumping attacks don’t work properly, when I do the attack it happens but then I get stuck in the falling float animation rather than landing. Any idea why?

I have really bad internet and had to spend basically 3 Days Downloading all the mods that I Want to play with and that are compatible with LotD. Then unpacked them using MO2. Screwy for me because load priority order was basically A-Z and I tried to sort the priorities from there and then let LOOT sort the plugins.
I tried Wabbajacking a mod list. but ALL of them are Upscaled graphics that my PC cant handle
anyways here is the current list.txt formated for easy reading

I need skyrim SE version 1.5.97 backup files or depot files because for some reason when i try to download the depot files from steam cosnole it says access denied, even the DepotDownloader did not work and i have tried everything, i think the only way now is to directly download the backup/depot files.
