Enjoy the large lush world of Cyrodiil with the updated graphics and mechanics from Skyrim's engine.
What is Skyblivion?
Skyblivion is a volunteer-based project by the TESRenewal modding group. We aim to bring the Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to a new generation of gamers and re-introduce it to long time fans of the series. We are currently in the process of porting and rebuilding Cyrodiil along with all of its quests, locations and characters into Skyrim and Skyrim: Special Edition.
No, we are currently at version 0.3 and this is for development alone. In order to go public we will need help from the community (you guys) to speed up development.

I just got the quest 3s and am wondering if there will be anything stopping skyblivion from running with skyrim vr.
Will mods for Skyrim SE/AE that just ADDS equip or spells will be compatible? Will we be able to obtain them via the console commands?
I want to play the mod, but I'm worried that bugfix updates or eventually, the updates that would add DLC areas and quests, would cause in-progress saves to become incompatible and require a new character.
Is this a foreseeable issue which could occur to players?
Is endurance going to be retroactive leveling health wise?
I saw a line in the spooky update about the witch having additional cures. WIll vampirism be re-infectable post curing unlike base oblivion?
Will skyrim spells like transmute or wards be available in skyblivion?
So first off, im super stoked to see this come to fruition, i think no one will see me when this drops 😂 but i have a question for you guys. Will we see recreations of old hairstyles in skyblivion? I play argonians mainly and the female argonian "hair" that has the decorated spikes i really like, and was hoping to see it again.
I'm asking because the cursed mace is such a drastic stepup from the generic daedric mace of Oblivion but molag bals mace is somewhat like a typical steel mace
Make it so that if there are no soul gems, whether it be because you have none or all of your soul gems are filled, a kill with umbra recharges the weapon directly. Like the sword is using the enemy's soul to charge itself as it detects no soul gems
Why does he look like a dunmer?? Granted he looks far better than the goofy oblivion model but isn't he an altmer?
If i am buying Obliviuon when its on sale, is there any point in buying the deluxe edition over the regular GOTY edition, for skyblivions purposes? I won't ever actually play Oblivion on its own.
I'm not saying it's shit, not at all! I was just wondering if this is a trailer-only look or if everything is dry.
During much of the footage, everything looks so dry. Even Leyawiin, the wettest city looks dry. Am I the only one who thinks this?
Hello gaming fans! I don't play a lot of RPGs. Probably the most RPG-ey game I played before Morrowind was Witcher 3. I absolutely loved W3, but I did occasionally find parts of it a bit tedious (mostly inventory management, crafting, etc - basically all the parts you do from a menu). I played through quite a bit of Morrowind, but right about the 15th time I tried to kill a wizard and his entourage to get the council to name me the messiah (the 3rd council I had to convince, BTW), I realized I wasn't having fun anymore. I also really love the Zelda series, but the RPG elements are pretty light in those. Would you still recommend Skyblivion to a player like me?
Started talking with a friend about skyblivion and he mentioned he had played it. I hadn’t heard anything about a playable version of the mod yet but he claims to have played it.
I've read different places that some things from oblivion aren't gonna appear in Skyblivion, such as radiant dialogues, spellcrafting and athletics/acrobatics. I've followed the dev streams and news for long, but I haven't heard much about what they decided to scrap, due to complications of the engine or whatever reason. Can someone enlighten me? or is there an official place where they list all that they won't be able to recreate?
Your Just giving up quality for more graphical fidelity even if you think skyrim is a better game the systems of oblivion are Meant for the story and world of oblivion this time would be better spent on a mod for oblivion that increases graphical fidelity and adds quality of life features as well as fixing its problems
also people i didn't claim skyrim was a better game or that you thought that its just that i didnt want to make an argument claiming oblivion was better because it'd cause to much subjective debate
Basically Enderal runs an old version of SKSE and since Skyoblivion is not coming into consoles; is it going to be like package installater like Steam Enderal? Or is it going to be like Wabajack mod list; or we have to install and transfer files manually. I'm asking this because we require to have Oblivion installed, so I wasn't sure how we can install Skyoblivion
So I’ve heard that skyblivion needs the original oblivion files to download and work. However I do own oblivion but the pc Xbox gamepass version. I haven’t been able to mod oblivion because it’s not from steam, it’s on my pc but it’s through Xbox gamepass. Will the files still work with them being from the pc game pass thingy
Just wanted to ask about this. The recent showcases are looking really good, but I noticed the dialogue camera from oblivion was missing. Are they planning on adding this in? I remember in oblivion it really helped to focus more on the character you're interacting with and remember who they were as opposed to skyrims dialogue system that felt much flatter and made the npcs feel forgettable in comparison
Hey all, super excited for the release of Skyblivion in 2025.
First off, I play SkyrimVR, and from what I can tell, Skyblivion will be compatible with SkyrimVR. So that's great to know.
Secondly, one of the core mechanics I love during Skyrim VR is the slow-motion shout. It makes combat incredibly interesting and fun.
Is there going to be a way to access either A] this shout, or B] some other slow-motion power, in the game? Or will I need to console-command the shout into the game? I get that Oblivion never had shouts, but it would be a crying shame to not have access to the improved gameplay system found in Skyrim.
