I’m trying to mod my Skyrim to play like Morrowind and I’ve always had an interest in trying Requiem and from what I can tell it seems to have a similar feel to Morrowind’s progression and gameplay.
Would you all say that it would fit the bill for what I want? I should I look at something like Morrowloot instead?
Everything is in the title. Im bloodkin but the mine is locked. :( Id unlock it through the console but if there is a legit way to open it then I wont :( I want my ebony you avaricious orcs !
Question:- Can I use armor spells to compensate for not having any or does it nullify that perk? Wanting to do a unarmored monk build
Roleplaying: Straight up Isekai, your MC got transported to the world of Skyrim, he can either know everything about it as he played the game before or he doesn't, what's mostly important is.
U can only be an Imperial (Human with no magic powers, his power is stamina and Rizz)
You can't use any form of magic that isn't given to you by a Supernatural entity (Divines, Daedric princes)
That includes:
Magic from any of the schools of magic
Standing stones, as you were not born in their world and their calendar.
Any form of magic that isn't given to and that depends on your on capacities.
Earth human capacities: You can't take perks, your only progression will depent on derived attributes, training, equipment, Blessings, and Skill level only progression (which are miserably weak to non existant in Requiem)
This is to mimic the fact that you are indeed a Earth human, not a Human from Tamriel, not capable of simply training with a hammer until you can bash a dragon 4 times in the head an kill it, it's impossible for us, a Earth Human to face such a creature toe to toe.
I plan to get good at it and then try it with permadeath later on, any ideas on what to Improve? or what to call it?
I’m running an archer build and I find that I get my ass whooped up close and can’t tank any hits. I was barely able to level up my light armor skill by getting attacked by mudcrabs and using healing/health/mana potions to keep taking hits but it is extremely tedious. Is there any other way I can level it up faster? I find that I can sneak around and kill things pretty easy but don’t want my armor skill to suffer.
I can't find them no matter how many mammoths i kill
Even the command player.additem D0043661 doesn't work says item not found
Not even on existing dead mammoths
Is there a fix for this ?
Hi, first time player here, I'm running pure Requiem.
I'm thinking about using crossbows, but I wasn't planning on going for smithing and just found out about the arcane craftsmanship perk. So I began wondering: can I still run elemental bolts without that perk? Either by crafting them the vanilla Skyrim way in Dawnguard, or buying them from someone for my build?
And if so, are there any drawbacks besides the cost?
I'm noticing that the incremental exhaustion and growth mod are functioning but not showing that my characters stats are decreasing, I was wondering if I could change or add something to either make the stat decrease "permanent"/add the red bar that signals you lost stats.
Hi,
Just a quick question - looking for a modpack with vanilla skill progression (don't ask me why, probably because I played too much games where you have "train" your skills). Installed LoreRim, fell in love with it but the more I played the more I hated the xp progression.
What I am looking for:
Requiem
Vanilla Skill progression (can even be XP in the modpack that CAN actually be disabled with one click w/o destroying the whole gaming experience or without corrupting the modpack)
Anything on top of it is a huge plus.
Thanks in advance!
This was a huge update - a lot of bug and balance fixes, but also a number of new items and enemies. I know I said I wouldn't be doing any more big updates to Knave, but these were ideas I'd had floating around in my head for ages, and I couldn't leave it "unfinished". I do plan to do a few more updates in the near future, but more minor, compartmentalized ones focused on balancing specific areas/skills (crafting skills being a notable one) - and of course updating again when Req 6.0 is out!
Also a number of new patches, including a very comprehensive one for Heavy Armory.
I won't paste the whole changelog here, but here are some of the highlights:
I have the perk in enchant tree, rolls of paper, scroll crafting tool, and soul gems? I use the scroll crafting tool and it only shows to create soul gem fragments? Please help, thank you!
So, im preparing to fight alduin, im using base requiem + knave patch (i dont think it changes the final battle so its probably hard as the base requiem? idk for certain
anyone have any tips for what i should bring to the fight? i have an heavy armor + 1h and shield build
Hello guys, i have came back to skyrim as usual and is the first time im trying the massive modlists that came by in the lats one and a half years, and i was playing Gate to Sovngarde of jayserpa and i had fun, but i'm really interestered in playing a requiem modlist, but the more trending one, lorerim, is simply umberable to my PC, i have a 4° gen i7 and a GTX 1080, so i want to know a modlist that isnt a lot more heavy than GtS, is very complete and has a lot of content, and has requiem
Hello everyone, I was wondering if I can play this mod with a controller connected with bluetooth?
I installed Lorerim, a fantastic Wabbajack list based on Requiem. I want to use a different mod for Remiel, a follower is already installed by Lorerim. I was told I need to run Reqtificator, but I'd like to know what it does and how to use it. There are a lot of [mod name] - Reqtificated ESPs in the plugins column in MO2, but I don't understand what they do or if I need to build them if I use an NPC replacer. Help? 😊
Hi,
I installed Requiem about a week ago and several questions popped in my head which I hope that you guys can/will answer. Im playing Lorerim with the normal profile and have only limited jewelry added.
Is it normal that the game takes like 5 minutes to fully start?
If I play a certain amount of time my fps start to tank until I restart the game, is that normal?
How can I change the button for blocking when using offhand weapon or spell?
I set companios to close on NFF but when travelling they fall behind so far. Any way to get to stick close?
Thanks for the answers in advance.
Any way to make them they compatible? Nox is modular but I don't know how to overwrites what. I already tried creating a new character and I get two birthsign and religion choose powers. Do I need to use SSEdit and cry?
Last time I played was just around the time 2.0 released and I recall Illusion being useful but a bit underpowered (couldn't rely on it to face late-Requiem foes) and kind of a hassle (had to cast a spell to make the next spell you cast silent).
Has anything been changed at all? What's Illusion like currently?
I just finished Season 2 of Rings of Power and had an idea for an Annatar-inspired build in Skyrim. Fwiw I’m not super interested in discussing the quality of the show in this thread as there are plenty of places to do that on Reddit.
The character would be a High Elf with a focus on illusion, one-handed, smithing, enchanting, restoration (for healing and wards), and eventually heavy armor. Probably the first perk in speech. Maybe ever silver tongued for role play rather than anything else.
For gear, I’d use the Mace of Molag Bal, Daedric armour, the Gauldur Amulet (since it’s probably the best all-around amulet in the game), and a ring—though there doesn’t seem to be any unique ones that fit the build, so I’ll use whatever I find.
My main concern is how to handle dragons. Do I need to invest in destruction magic as well? I know I could use illusion to trick people into fighting the dragons for me, which would fit the character concept, but in Requiem, where dragons are incredibly powerful, that might take forever and get boring.
Playing requiem on legendary difficulty, - pure mage 50lvl.
Basically my character is done in terms of progressing, all magic trees are 100, got more or less the best equipment.
I need challenge or at least some pure mayhem for fun, like fighting dozens of draugrs, three dragon priests and two dragons at the same time in a temple leading to sovengarde (no idea why they mass spawned there).
What are my options?
I got immersive creatures and all sliders for extra spawns are set to high.
Increase my level with console so enemies scale higher? Some difficulty parameters in requiem (I want more or harder enemies, not just lowering my damage in mod configuration)? Some additional mod?
I got the craftsmanship manual and I still can’t improve my imperial light armour. Is there a way to improve carry weight like the base game.
Playing halls of sovngarde and the game runs great except sometimes when I load a save, usually because I died, the game will crash. Not consistent in terms of time played or number of times reloaded. Anyone know how to fix this?
My Blessing of Molag Bal keeps disappearing from the active effects list randomly when I load a save. Started as a vampire. What could be the issue?
I want to know whats the harderst thing to do with requiem enabled (except ebony warrior) i cant kill that stupid thing yet, it is tank, it does damage and it casts fucking magic too
Ive had a few issues come up from the fact that injured NPCs somtimes run away. I like this feature alot but want to know if there is an additional to prevent the problems.
Also, I can't seem to disable floating markers, not 100% sure that this is requiems fault but dont know why its happened. I disabled them in Skyrims Settings and they still show.
I thought reqiuem got rid of them and even spesific locations of map markers. When I had a quest to find an NPC in the city I was excited to track him down by name. But then the quest marker led me right to him. I dont want to open the journal to deselect quests every time.
I started this week requiem 4.x. ., so I was looking for guide and came across this : The Ebony Blade absorbs 0 health (6 per confidant, ally, or lover murdered with the blade). Attacks are silent and victims do not become hostile.
Q : is that true ?
I want to get back to Requiem, haven't played in a while and I'm trying to set-up a small modlist for Requiem which doesn't alter Skyrim's requirements too much as my pc can't handle large modlists, Wildlander was pretty good back then but I want to try out the newest Requiem versions (which iirc Wildlander uses an old ver) + I don't have Nexus premium lol.
Currently eyeing some animation mods for the player and enemies. Some light-weight survival mods, alternate start or content mods that aren't a nightmare to patch would be appreciated as well. QoL or UI mods would be awesome too, or whatever you guys like a lot besides graphical mods.
I'll probably be running most of JaySerpa's mods since they're pretty cool and seem compatible with everything
Basically title. I want to add some mods and would guess that's fine as long as I run Reqtificator to detect the changes, but I don't want to mess up my save game on accident by doing so. This won't break anything will it? In particular, I just wanted to change my follower mod. Thanks.
Hi i played requiem a bit in the past but forgotten a lot about skyrim modding and how things work.
I'd be happy if you guys gave some tips.

The author said it's compatible, but I wanted to ask if anyone has actually tried it in-game
