Don't got to the Pub on Madison
DONT EVER GO TO THE BAR The Pub On Madison they will defend the person when someone makes fun of you and call you a retarded and when your try to go back inside to tell your friends then don't care the bouncer with push you down the stairs and I kick him in the shins twices in self defense. Get try to knock me out cold and kill me. I told the Albany Police Department but they don't care about feeling and who started what first so, I'll just Share this on Facebook for everyone to see. Albany don't care about people being call retarded and when they stand up for themselves and try to not make a scene they will take the side of the bar. So good on you, that is not humane at all. I have bruises that I will share, no one filled a report because they didn't care, and we live in 2019. You going to allow people to bully others if they are a little slower then other for no reason. Gtfo that is so freaking frowned upon and I what people to like that s to know that the cops and the bouncer/pub are wrong. 1

Or within 20 minutes of Schenectady?
My Dad has dementia and we are looking to place him in a good facility. We were told to stay away from the Centers facilities as well as Baptist but otherwise we are completely lost. We also want it within 20 minutes so we can be there very often to be involved in his care. Thanks in advance.
Hi all, just to summarize I’m a student whose cat might have a UTI/bladder crystals. Already looked into some vets around Albany, most are booked or just really out my budget and I wanted to ask whether anyone here had any reccomendations for vets accepting new clients.
My cat has some blood in her urine, and she isn’t straining or in pain when she pees so it was just very unexpected. I suspect it’s the dry food I’ve been giving her, so I’ve been giving her lots of fluids in the meantime along with some renal wet cat food while I find some place to get a urinalysis at.
Edit: I went to Union Street Vet and they were able to get her in today. She doesn’t have any blockages and was diagnosed with stress cystitis, and the doc prescribed her some antidepressants because she really did not like him and seemed very stressed. I was told to keep an eye on her but he was very helpful and even gave me some research related to her case, apparently this is common in female cats around this time.
This is an amazing piece of hand drawn folk art (95 inches by 23 inches) that I got from India! It's invaluable since it's a dying art and I want to do my best trying to preserve it. I definitely want to display this on one of the walls of our drawing room. The paint used is water soluble and the surface painted on is a very thick cotton paper. I am considering taking it to Michaels, but I am not sure that it's a good idea. Are there any experienced framers or framing shops in the area that can help me with this? Thank you!
Husband and I are trying to replace a short wooden fence in our yard with a taller aluminum fence so our dog can be off leash in the yard. We looked up some companies using Angie's list but only one has gotten back to us and we feel like the estimate we were given was to the expensive. We just want to shop around a little more. If anyone has a company they recommend for this please let me know. I don't want to agree to anything until I've spoken to a few more people. Thanks
With Halloween fast approaching, the reported sightings of Creepy Clowns are on the rise. A Clown sighting from Oneida Middle school, near my house, makes me think that the noises I'm hearing from under my back porch are probably a Clown seeking shelter. I called Schenectady City Hall, and was connected with Anita Manicure, Supervisor at the Department of Clown Control.
"Yes, as the weather gets colder, Clowns tend to try and move inside, in search of shelter and their primary food source, Circus Peanuts. We advise people to avoid contact with Clowns, as they may carry disease. Contact the Department of Clown Control and the Clowns will be relocated or humanely destroyed. Schenectady City Hall has had a serious Clown infestation for decades now. No sooner do we remove the current Clowns, new ones move in."
I also spotted unmistakable Clown Shoe-prints down by the Hans Groot Kill. Upon contacting Campus Safety, I was informed that Clown sightings were not unusual on Campus.
"We get a call almost every weekend", said Sergeant-at-Arms Chad Underwood. "Usually, it's about 2-3 AM on a Friday or Saturday night. Unfortunately, when we respond, usually the person making the report is asleep, and, if there was a clown, it's long gone. We also get several anonymous calls a month from students who suspect one of their professors is actually a Clown."
Nationally, news agencies are broadcasting reports of Clowns running for office, and debate over the pros and cons of various Clowns is leading to bitter bar-stool debates and family rifts.
"My husband wants to vote against Clown A, and I want to vote against Clown B", said Hope Islost, of Apathy, IN. "We may just stay home, and not vote against anybody."
Hi everyone. My car will be out of commission for a bit and I start a new job next week. Is their any taxi services around the area that would take me to and from work that’s a reasonable price. I wanted to come here first because Uber tend to have long wait times especially in the morning. Would be much appreciated

A few friends and I are going down to Pennsylvania next Saturday, the 26th, for a full day of knocking on doors to get out the vote for Team Blue.
We've done this couple times before and it's been a great experience both times. It makes you feel like you're living in a Norman Rockwell painting for an afternoon, or an episode of Parks & Rec.
It'll be a long day for sure. Leaving Albany early - about three hours of driving down to Easton - and back late. But if you've been toying with the idea, this is a chance to be a part of it because we've still got two seats left in the car. DM or chat me if you're interested.
Title, but just to say I have done literary events in Albany and Troy, and have an idea where to post flyers in those areas, but am light on places where I could post a flyer for an event in Schenectady. Any ideas? Jay street places? Libraries? Any help would be appreciated.

Just wondering if there's any paranormal type groups that meet up every so often in Schenectady? A quick search doesn't bring anything up, but Schenectady and surrounding areas have so much history I find it hard to believe there's nothing at all.
