I remember I bought Mexican Fanta somewhere around here, I forgot where, I can't find it on online stores.
Not sure what other options are available.
Hi all! My wife and I are originally from New York City but have been living in California for a while. My wife, who is a doctor, may have a job opportunity in Utica, NY, and we’re curious about what it’s like for high-earning professionals. We’d love to hear from anyone who has experience living there. Is it a good place for growing a family? Any insights about the community, lifestyle, or local amenities would be greatly appreciated!
UTICA — Starting Monday, Oct. 7, Centro will offer a weekday bus service that connects Utica, Rome and the Turning Stone Casino. The route, UT33-Utica-Rome-Turning Stone, will provide six round trips every weekday between 7:45 a.m. and 6 p.m., focusing on job accessibility for residents of Oneida County.
“This service will connect residents of Oneida County’s two largest cities with employment opportunities at Turning Stone Casino and large companies along the Route 49 — Old River Road corridor,” Christopher Tuff, Centro Deputy CEO said. “It will also connect Utica with the Rome MVCC campus, which is a request we’ve often received from students and administrators.”
In addition to the MVCC Rome campus, the bus route will include stops at the Utica and Rome Transit Hubs, Turning Stone Casino, Marcy Correctional Facility and the Walmart Distribution Center.
“Access to reliable transportation is critical for our residents and our economy,” Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr. said. “This new bus service provided by Centro will open up significant opportunities for Oneida County residents, especially those in rural areas by connecting them to major employers like Turning Stone Resort Casino, Marcy Correctional Facility and the Walmart Distribution Center. It will also ensure that our workforce has the means to pursue both employment and education by linking Utica to the Rome MVCC campus. This initiative strengthens our communities, supports local businesses and enhances the quality of life for everyone in our county.”
Passenger fares will be $3 for adults and $1.50 for seniors age 65 and above, individuals with disabilities and children ages six to nine when accompanied by a paying adult. Riders who want to board at non-designated stops outside of Rome and Utica can wave the bus down along the route.
The schedule and timetable for the route are available at https://www.centro.org/service_schedules/schedules-rome. Anyone with questions should contact Centro’s call center at (315) 442-3400.

Hi everyone! I’m new to Utica and need to get my car’s oil and filter changed, as well as an inspection. Can anyone recommend a good place for a detailed car wash and where I can get all this done at a fair price? Thank you! Any recommendations on the mentioned place?
Does anyone know which mechanical shops have the best alignment machines? The places I go have ones from the early 1990s and for some reason my Subaru keeps coming out of alignment and wearing tires.
I went to Ventura’s in Utica yesterday. I just want to say that was the best chicken francaise. And the lemon berry cream cake was literally the best thing I’ve ever had in my entire life, no joke. I’m very easy to please, but the place was beautiful and the atmosphere is just perfect. I’m very partial to Italian food and aesthetics, but it was just perfect. Amazing amazing amazing.
His name is Brian (can’t remember his last name) grew up in Clark mills I think. He lived in Utica in 97/98, worked at PAR tech in the mail room, had friends named Tim (who at one time worked at price chopper south Utica) and Paul who lived in springate at.
Anyone know him? He listened to heavy metal, had a beard and glasses …

I'm having such a hard time researching the cost of living in Utica specifically, but also just in general? All these websites that I've been doing my research on like the Forbes cost of living calculator and payscale to name a few, are so vague in the data they give. They talk about averages but don't specify if it's for a full family household of 4 or for a single renter. It's very frustrating. There are other things that I just straight up can't find, like the average cost of a water bill in the Utica area.
I came here hoping that y'all could help me out.
IMPORTANT INFO FOR MY SPECIFIC CALCULATIONS
I'm looking to gather this data as If I'm looking to rent a 2 bed 2 bath apt, with a roommate. So splitting essential expenses, obviously we won't splitting things like going out, pet stuff, or phone bill, straight down the middle, what would I be paying for monthly, for the following? I realize that these prices can vary from neighborhood to neighborhood, just give a rough estimate or range.
Rent
Utilities (gas, electricity, water)
groceries
pet stuff (room and board, average cost of dog food)
high speed internet
phone bill (unlimited data plan)
average cost of going out
I realize I'm asking a bunch of strangers to do a lot of work for me, lol, but I've been looking for hours with little to no progress, so any and all help is very appreciated.
Forgot to post this earlier, but what was with the constant helicopters flying over earlier today? Morning and afternoon?
