We've never actually learned where Jaune is from. He's definitely not from Atlas and describes Mistral like a place for vacation rather than a hometown. It's possible he's from one of the villages outside the kingdoms but how does a family that lives outside the walls have enough wealth to raise eight kids? I always assumed he's from some part of Vale cause he's already inside the ship that Ruby and Yang take to go to Beacon.
If he's from Vale wouldn't his family be dead after Salem destroyed the whole city? Or did they escape to a village outside? Wouldn't it be cool if they were in one of the ships heading to Vacuo and are now living among the refugees? Maybe we'll get to see them in Vol 10.
Or maybe they do live in a village somewhere and are far away from all the disaster.
I'm looking for gamer fics with morally gray/ evil MC. It doesn't really matter much to me if it's OC or SI. Something long running with an actual plot not just a gratuitous power fantasy. While I don't shy away from smut I don't want it to be the main focus of the story.
I'm trying to find more fics like this if anyone has any to recommend
I am looking for a fanfic where it is about Ruby being a double agent and working for Salem but she is actually working for Qrow. Team RWBY and JNPR are distraught and mad when they learn the truth once Ruby comes back. I remember in one chapter they battle Watts but he has uses Grimm to mutate himself.
“One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all; and in the darkness bind them.”
We’ve seen what the dark lord Sauron’s ring of power does to the minds of man; Isildur was the first, then Sméagol/Gollum, and then Frodo. While it proves useful to shroud a person’s figure by being invisible in the naked eye, however, the Ring's malign influence can corrupt both the user’s mind and heart. If I have to pick a scenario on where said ring would be found, it be around after the two brothers left and humanity was wiped out.
Leaving Salem all alone.
It would be around Salem’s one-hundredth day alone on remnant where she stopped in her tracks upon stepping on something. And there it was: the ring, under the dirt. The very second she picks it up, she feels something. She doesn’t know what, but she felt it. She still jumps in the Grimm pool, reuniting with Ozma and starting a family with him—so no change there. But every now and then Ozma and her children would find her staring it in a trance for a very long time. Salem would keep the ring long enough until Ozma’s betrayal.
Let’s just say a thief managed to get in their castle and took the ring while the couple were busy battling each other. It didn’t take long for a pattern to ensue. Man grows obsessed over the ring, loses it, then another person finds it. This would go on, and on, and on until Volume 6 where the final person that discovers it is none other then Ruby Rose.
I’d imagine once Ruby was about to trail after her team, Oscar, Maria, and Uncle Qrow, she’d notice a shiny glow under her boot. Similar to how Bilbo found the ring, she would stare at it in both awe and curiosity before slipping it in her pocket.
Now I’ll conclude this discussion with this. The ring in this scenario can be used for good, if the person using it has a strong mind. If not, then they’ll be consumed by the ring’s influence and power much like Frodo. And if one wanted to destroy it then they’ll have to take it to a mountain filled with lava and cast it there.
But what are you guys’ thoughts?
did dust have a liquid form? i can't remember; i need to know for an Overwatch crossover (yes it involves Hazard) ;)
Long story short, I'm writing an OC and his weapons are a pair of forked knives (think of a cross between a tuning fork and a dagger) and the laser blade or whatever it's called comes through the opening in the middle. My concern is that I haven't seen anything similar throughout canon. Would this be too big of a leap?
To be clear this isn’t what you think the best fight scene is just the one you like the most.
This has been in my head for a long time, and I finally want to talk about it.
I like how she’s more than her gender identity, she’s cool, badass, and just overall a fun character. I liked her coming out like too, it helped me realize my own identity.
Hey everyone,
I am currently assembling ideas and design for tattoos of shows and games that influenced me and made me who I am today.
So far I have:
So, I don't want to make it too obvious, but RWBY really got to me last year.
!Ruby's realisation that she was enough hit me at a very low point in my life, because I, too, am torn with selfdoubt and made many mistakes and let many opportunities pass because of it. The ending of Volume 9 left me a sobbing mess, because I so related to Ruby in that moment. !<
Has anyone an idea what to get as a small tattoo that is not too obvious, yet still recognizable for fans?
Thanks in advance
Regards
Raine
I'm well aware that remnant's moon is shattered, I just wanted to share this Headcanon and see what you guys think.
Ok, with the title I probably will start a Holy grail war. But please hear my opinion. I LOVE jaune as charecter, he with Weiss are by FAR my favorites, but Jaune shouldn't be as strong as team RWBY. And here is why. I personally think Jaune is more a support/defence that is there to help and protrct, not to be a agressive swordsman that is always leading the charge, Jaune is not that. He tried to be that in the Mistral arc, and we know how that ended, with Weiss almost dying. He been more agressive and vengeful create more problem that what he help resolve and endangered his friends more that helping them. Now take the Atlas arc, were Jaune is more support/deffence that his core fighting style was using more his shield than the Mega Sword form. And even one of the modifications on Crocea Mors depended to put the sword back to the shield to make the shield even more bigger and stronger, that modification is Jaune chosing to defdnd more rather than attack. And that makes sense, the last time he tried to be more of agressive fighter he almost get kill of his friends, that modification is Jaune trying not to make that mistake again, trying not to endanger his friends again for his action. And I LOVE IT. Now problaly I driftedfrom the main, a little bit. But I just wanted to put my opionion, so if you are here, well thanks for hearing my opinion!
