Remnant has a mysterious dragon-shaped continent to the northwest of Sanus. It's never talked about in the show, and we know nothing about it. It's common, however, to have lore about that place, and it's often treated as Salem's hideout.

In my AU, the continent is called "Draconis." Salem dwells there, and there are also several human and faunus kingdoms there. Most of them worship Salem, but there is an oppressed religious and political minority that worships the Brothers instead. One of the events leading up to the final showdown with Salem is getting the good people of Draconis to rebel.

So I’m in the process of making another character whose allusion is to Daniel from the Bible. I have some things figured out like his name (Daniel Löwenhertz), the fact that he’s a Lion Faunus with lion ears(Daniel and the Lion’s Den), his weapon being a shield called Maccabeus (think Mash from Fate/ Grand Order) and that his personality would be that of someone whose kinda a nerd, but can be quite stubborn, but I’m having trouble with figuring out what I want his Semblance to be. Daniel in the Bible had the ability to interpret dreams and visions, so I’m wondering how to incorporate that into his character or maybe utilize something else entirely. What do you guys think?

Perhaps diving into philosophy is a bit too much to ask for a sub-reddit, dedicated to making cool guys and gals who can kick ass but what the hell.

Picture this... your oc is on the Balcony of Maloria's citadel, in front of them in a beaten Maloria, she is bleeding and soon no longer for this world to endure, at last peace... and yet she laughs, then she speaks: did you really think this would change anything? Youve all brought your armies... into my home, into my claws and expected peace? Look at them, all fighting one another like it was before. They forgot what they were and at last... they remember now. Tell me, what did you think would happen?... no, better yet, what will you do now?"

You breathe in and ready your answer to her question, what does your OC say? An insult? A threat? A statement? Or do they remain silent upon witnessing that all those years of fighting against maloria and still, she won in the end.

I really like seeing how a person takes an allusion and makes a character out of it, its so cool. So who are your OC's allusions

Spruce- Spruce alludes to the real life person Pancho Villa, a Mexican revolutionary. Spruce also takes some cowboy elements, mostly in his fighting style as being a gunslinger

Cole- Also a real person. He alludes to Itzcoatl, the founder of the Aztec empire. Itzcoatl was called the obsidian serpent which is why Cole himself is a snake Faunus.

Dawn- the third real person, this time we have Marie Antionette, Dawns weapon is called "morceau de gâteau" in reference to the famous line often attributed to Marie, "let them eat cake"

Rowan- the fourth real, nah I'm joking. Rowan stands out in that her allusion is Tarzan. Her leopard, Razor, is reference to Sabor from the Tarzan Disney movie. Rowans Semblance war cry is the same yell that Tarzan is famous for.

So we all know that there's two main sides in RWBY, The Ozluminati and Salem's inner circle. But there can be any number of other factions also involved in this conflict in one way or another like the White Fang is.

Probably the most important independant faction is the Pikes.

• "Pike" is a term used to describe people who are fighting in the Pike sector west of Mantle.
• "Pike" is also sometimes used by people who have managed to escape that fight.
• Pikes are slave soldiers fighting for the Pike Company. Which is overseen by Franz Silver.
• Pikes are almost always "voluntary" but that term only means they're the ones selling themselves into slavery so their loved ones have a chance to survive.
• Signing the contract to become a Pike is signing your own death warrant 99.99% of the time.
• While in combat, "Players" are put in control of the Pikes.
• These Players are the children of Atlas' elite who believe they are playing a super-advanced videogame.
• To keep Pikes in line, they are required to wear exo-skeletons in combat. These exoskeletons have several killswitches that range from stopping them from crossing a border to straight up executing them on the spot.
• Barely anyone knows what is actually happening.
• Any Pikes that escape will sometimes still refer to themselves as "Pikes" out of convenience.

Pikes that survive have a pretty high likelyhood of ending up at the town of Servo, where they are taken in as refugees. Some that still wish to fight become known as ex-Pikes.

The Bridgers are a Mantlean militia secretly sponsored by the fairly influential Molybdenum household.

• Revolutionarie group dedicated to bridging the gap between Atlas and Mantle.
• They are the Molybdenums' secret weapon.
• They are prepared to stage their insurrection as soon as any of the Molybdenum brothers gives the symbol.
• Currently they are seen as a gang in conflict with the Citizens of Power movement.

• Their most powerful asset is the Royal Menagerian Navy. Which is the largest sea-born navy on Remnant by tonnage.

• Their military headquarters (Called The "Shield Of Rights") is located on a heavily defended, small island off the north coast of Menagerie called The Lion's Fang Island.

In the world of RWBY, Religion is basically the overarching story basis. Everything that is ongoing is due to the whims and actions of the Gods.

So on the topic of ours OCs, are they religious in any form or fashion? If they are, what is the core ideals or beliefs they follow?

Here is Team PBRN (Pomegranate), a team that forms and attends beacon at the same time as Team SRTQ.

The leader is Phthalo Mauve, the middle child in a family of huntsmen and huntresses who is considered a prodigy.

Būruberi Vermillion, a warrior who keeps to himself without revealing much of his past.

Ringo Pyrite, the vice president of the student council, who is always looking to prove herself, often to the point of exhaustion.

And the final member, Nero Bulak, the son of the Hero of Verden. He also seems to be in a bad mood all the time with a foul mouth.

Considering that the Vytal festival has entrance songs, and other tournaments too, what would be the songs that your OC would use (think of the WWE entrances)

Me: Krisom would probably use Shiro Saigo's version of Number One, or Kingdom, Cody Rhodes' entrance music

For example, Cunan is called ‘Wolfie’ by Ruby, ‘Mutt’ by Weiss, ‘Stupid dog’ by Blake (they have a bit of a rivalry), and ‘Puppy’ by Yang (a nickname that he absolutely hates, which makes Yang use it more and more).

He then calls Ruby “Red”, Weiss “Rich Girl”, Blake “Stupid Cat”, and Yang “Goldie”. He also calls Jaune “Jaune-boy” and, after the Fall of Beacon and her killing Ozpin and burning one of his eyes off, he calls Cinder a “gluttonous little pig”.

Something funny about their routine, or someone they prefer to avoid, or even someone they go out of their way to find.

It can be anything that makes them feel a little more alive and real.

like the title states. What is there go too comfort food, what do they really like.

Spruce- he has two, the first is Tamales, specifically his mothers. She taught him how to make them and they are his go to since. The second is mint chip ice cream, when he is feeling bad this almost never fails to cheer him up

Cole- Cole's favorite is grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup, he has gotten very good at making them and has perfected his recipe for them

Dawn- Dawn likes cake, specifically layer cake with buttercream.

Rowan- Rowan likes pizza rolls, her pizza rolls and Spruce's ice cream take up half of the freezer that's in Team SCDR'S dorm

The reigning, undefeated, openweight champion of the Jianghu Trials, Mistral's most prominent unarmed combat organization. Huntsmen, civilians, and even outlaws alike have all exchanged fists within the bounds of the Trials' sand-coated circle. It is a favored venue of profit for organized crime, and match-fixing remains a rampant issue despite reformation efforts. The organization has fifteen "measured" weight classes, with no division between sexes. The lightest class is atomweight and the heaviest is super heavyweight.

Above all of these, openweight existed as a chaotic no man's land, with all manner of brutes and freakshows abusing its lack of weight limit to pack as much muscle as possible. The division's crown changed hands over thirty times before Malai's rise to the championship.

In spite of her lanky middleweight frame, Malai is acclaimed for her knockout victories over a murderer's row of fighters, among them former heavyweight and super heavyweight champions. The Faunus athlete has come a long way from her childhood as a slum orphan, raking in millions of Lien with every match. Even non-fans of the Trials will recognize her name, a testament to her giant-killing prowess.

Malai's greatest weapon is her Faunus trait. Born with the arm muscles and joints of a mantis shrimp, Malai can strike like a cannon shot even before putting any weight into her hits. What separates her from other hard-hitters is that she does not sacrifice volume or speed for power, able to throw a volley of crippling blows near-instantaneously. The champion is far from a one trick pony, however, and opponents banking on outclassing her with technique are shocked to find she can keep up with even the most nimble foe, swaying and weaving through their offense before answering with her own dreaded punch.

With her gift, Malai holds the record for the longest reign of any openweight champion at three years and counting. While some are irked at the end of the nail-biting pandemonium that flavored the championship, many others continue to buy choice seats for her bouts, even if only to see if today's challenger could be the one to finally defeat Malai.

Allusions and Color Theme: I didn't have a specific allusion in mind for Malai, but her first name is a Thai term for a floral garland, while her last name means "thunder" in Hawaiian. Fitting for a champion known for her knockout prowess.
