How do I add flair to my post?

It seems like every time I dig through the recommended furniture stores, I end up finding places that have six thousand items listed online and yet sorting by "in store" reduces it down to literally one or two items. I didn't think our needs for our next piece of furniture were that outrageous, but I'm having a hard time finding a good local selection. Does anyplace fit the bill? And yes, skipping leather in favor of fabric is a must for us because we know that leather wouldn't mix well with our cat.
New to Greece and looking for some recommendations! It's hard out here when ya don't know anyone!
Thanks!
I'm a new artist to the area and looking for a way to get my art out there.
I've looked at their website and read their bylaws and it's really hard to tell the culture of the group past it seems to be mostly watercolors painted by older people? But that could just be due to them having a very bare bones website.
I'm in my 30s and very visibly queer, and while I do also paint some watercolors, a lot of my other work deals with queer ideas and mental health topics. I'd be fine with being the odd man out in a group as far as art style goes, I'm pretty used to that even, but I'm trying to gauge if this group would be welcoming to me as a person before I attempt to join.
Does anyone have any experience with them?
I’m not sure how many people here are still into dance games like dance dance revolution, but in the 2000s Rochester had a really good scene with the latest games in arcades and a community with lots of friendly people. The games all mostly went away or are no longer updated so it’s been dead for the last decade. Once in awhile people here post asking about machines and it’s always just an old DDR at Strong or old PIU at Dave and busters.
In the past month we now have two brand new machines! Strong museum now has a new Stepmaniax machine in their renovated arcade, which is kind of an alternate version of DDR. The new fun spot arcade at Eastview mall also has the latest 2024 version of Pump It Up.
No matter what style of dance game you prefer, you can now play the latest! It’d be nice to see a new community to be built here around the games, so if you’re a fan of them, make sure to visit and put money into the machines and help the scene grow! They’re also fun games and are a great way to get exercise, so if you’re interested in them but never played before, the newer games are very beginner friendly.
I recently saw an article in the Democrat and Chronicle detailing the alleged financial scandal impacting Katherine Mott and how that may impact her businesses at Monroe's Restaurant and Divinity Estate - including that they may be sold at a future date.
I have a wedding planned at Divinity Estate next year but although I have tried to call multiple times since Monday to get more clarification, I have only received voicemail and have not been called back. I am starting to get nervous about holding a wedding here and how a sale might impact my wedding and whether the contract will still be enforced and the quality of service if the alleged is true.
I recognize that this may be of limited help to most people here but does anyone happen to have any more info on what is going on here? Or of who I could even contact since my calls have gone unanswered?

Potentially promising, but given this company's history, I'd take this with a grain of salt.
Heyo! I just moved from NJ and one of the biggest things I’m on the hunt for is rice cakes. I loveeee sweet rice cakes like Songpyeon, Injeolmi, etc. I’m struggling to find a place that might have these kinds of things, so any advice is REALLY appreciated lol. It’s a major comfort food for me and I need it really bad 😂
Me and my family are trying to figure out where this place was that we went to every year. Circa 20 years ago somewhere near monroe county had a pumpkin farm they would decorate the wooded area with halloween stuff, they had a giant fire pit, a teepee kids could play in, a big hay maze, and a headless horseman guy on a horse would ride through the farm. Anyone got any ideas?
This is a antique hand-me down from partners family. It broke during our last move and although we could just glue it back together I was hoping there was someone or somewhere around here that has the skill to make this look new again
A good business owner imo = Fair prices, treats employees with respect, pays a living wage, takes pride in their business and product or service quality, not weird or creepy towards customers or employees, treats their reps well, feel free to add on.
I feel like we hear a lot about the horror stories of certain owners in Rochester and surrounding towns but we haven't celebrated the great ones as much.
Perfect day for trick or treating in the ROC!
I’m a masc lesbian who has had a hard time finding a haircut that suits my face shape and I’m looking for a cut that feels like me. Any recs?
What shop would yall recommend i take my old truck to for some basic front end work & maintenance, I’d very much so prefer someone with experience with these older vehicles. It’s a Texas truck with no rust, very clean want it treated right.
Hi All,
I'm sure this has been discussed before, but I did a search and didn't find very extensive info. I'm not super familiar with the Charlotte area, outside of just driving down the main roads. I'm looking for input on the good areas and the not as good areas.
I'm in the market for a house but am open to possibly branch out to some areas that might have some less expensive listing prices that I'm not as familiar with. This would likely be a starter home - school system isn't super important to me. I do know the area around Boxart Street, right below Turning Point Park. Seems like a nice little neighborhood. Are there any other areas of Charlotte that people would recommend?
Currently, I've mostly just been finding options in the North Winton Village, but even some just okay houses in okay areas there are stretching my budget.
Thank you!
Has anyone ever gotten their hair lowlighted or colored in any way at the Continental School of Beauty and if so how did it turn out?
They were an awesome rock band who split and never returned, then Ben Burton ( guitar and vocals) continued with his own band "It's A Thrill...". They have also stopped playing and releasing music with no warning. The only proof of existence I have is a broken MySpace page and a YouTube video from 6 yrs ago. Here's some track names if that helps

Got a bunch of dead disposable vapes sitting in a bag that I've collected from the street/friends/other places. I sometimes pick them up along with other trash when I'm out on walks. I know I'm not supposed to just throw them in the trash but I want to get rid of them. I've seen suggestions online that say to drop them in those "battery recycling" boxes that stores sometimes have, but I feel like that's not the best idea due to it being a vape and not a cellphone battery.
Is there anywhere here that will take them?
Ryan Homes on Lehigh Ridge - Good or bad?
Hey all, I've been eyeing the new construction homes by Ryan Homes off of Lehigh Station Road. Wanted to see reviews about them from experience. Are they quality builds? Do they stand behind their warranty? How are they compared to older builds? TIA!
I'm looking to rent a smallish dumpster for a weekend to empty out a pretty full garage and basement of junk.
Does anyone have any good experiences with local companies? Or any to absolutely avoid?
Anything going on tomorrow night? Thinking about going to jacks extra fancy, but I'm looking for other suggestions. Literally anything. (Don't feel like drinking in my house alone again.)
Besides the obvious ones like halal n out. I’m looking for unique finds and please include your favorite dish there
I'm in 14621 but I would walk somewhere away from here just to see a big nice fancy neighborhood with cool decorations.. so let the recommendations be for some place that's walking distance from the intersection of Hudson Ave and east ridge Rd.
The driver was a black male- 17 to 20 and the passenger was light skin or Hispanic same age range. Two or three people in the backseat too. Cops were called & given the license plate number.
