Hello everyone, I would like to ask, as a new account needing karma to be able to write comments and so on, do people consider giving karma for new joiners

or in another way, is it easy to get karma?

Yes I'm new to Reddit. Just made my first post and thought I was going crazy when my responses were invisible.😅 Then I realized there's a thing called Karma points. Is that why my responses are not visible, but are showing up in the total count in replies? How come I can respond on some posts and not others? Notice a lot of ppl are one time users logging on to make a comment on my post and down voting me. Are they trying to shut me up? Lol

Basically every sub I even try to even reply to I get a stupid mod staying I don't have enough karma points to post. First how the hell am I supposed to get karma points when I only was able to get two the months I was on here. Second how am I even able to ask or post questions in common subs when right away mods block me and not right away or if I actually post it's removed and it does not even count.

All the months here I been a lurker with only 1 post because mods removed my post or I did not have enough karma. This is from TikTok sub and other tech and support mental forums I can't even post or reply in.

I've tried to post on so many subs just to ask a simple question and they all keep deleting my posts. What am I supposed to do?

I’ve been on Reddit for 16 days. I’ve been posting and commenting. People have commented on and upvoted my posts. What’s going on?

I am a new user. I just had to make another account because I got shadowbanned for commenting a lot in attempt to earn karma. I understand that it's a spam risk, but it was less than 10 posts and they were all unique! I submitted an appeal and am just waiting for it to come back. How long do appeals take to go through, and how long can a shadowban last? I really don't understand what I even did wrong. And I guess it's just patience in spacing my comments, but I feel new users shouldn't have to wait 4-5 hours between commenting to avoid being shadowbanned off the bat.
