Do posts get removed because of just low post karma? If so, then it's pretty unfair. I think that it makes sense to delete posts from people who never commented or posted anything (since they could be bots or something, idk). However, it would make sense to let people with high comment karma post.
I came back to reddit after a long absence. Made a new account to start fresh (and for privacy reasons). I've tried posting, and most of my posts have gotten no comments, upvotes or downvotes. I'm not sure what to make of that. Is there some kind of shadow ban on new redditors? Maybe an anti spam thing? I remember reddit being a lot more vibrant before, every post I did got some sort of response
Is this real? What can I do about it?
They were on the sub topic
I've been in communities for a while to see some things and I just want to compensate by making a post but when I want to, they ask me for a lot of karma, is that normal? I know it's to avoid spam, but is it normal for them to ask for so much?
Have just created a new account, but my posts keep being removed. Is it because I dont have enough karma or just write very long messeges?
New to Reddit and need some help in learning the basics would be so appreciated if you could pm and I can ask questions. Thank you
So in some reddit subs, it is stated that the account age must be 48 hours or so. In this case, does karma matter?
I want to create a community for redditors from my country, but how could i make them know about it?
Title + What's up with that?
I’ve restarted my account because it seems like my account stalls out at some point and I don’t see any way to keep growing karma.
Dosto, mujhe Reddit ke baare me zyada knowledge nahi hai, lekin maine suna hai ki yahan "Karma" ek important cheez hoti hai. Aap log mujhe samjha sakte ho ki ye karma hota kya hai, kaise milta hai, aur iska use kya hai?
Main apni baat clear karne ke liye kuch specific sawaal pooch raha hoon:
Main naye users ke liye helpful tips bhi lena chahunga. Agar kisi ke paas aisi koi tricks ya advice ho jisme zyada karma earn kiya ja sake, to please share karein.
Mujhe lagta hai ki Reddit ek unique platform hai, lekin beginners ke liye thoda confusing bhi ho sakta hai. Isliye, agar aap experienced Reddit users hain, to apne experiences share karke help karein.
Shukriya Advance me! Apke Answers ka Intezar Rahega.
I wanna stay true to myself and be honest and kind as always.
I’ve been new here for quite some time now and I see multiple job hunting users here and I just want to ask this to those who are not so new here. Is this good app to use for that purpose?
I've read some subreddit rules and I am a bit confused.
There's information I want to find or I want to ask for tips on something, where the tips/advices could be anything and I did think of asking one subreddit, til I read the rules, did some overthinking, backed out.
It says the post was automatically deleted due to lack of karma, but if you look at the View statistics, there are about 20 Views, what happened?
My account is 20 days old. Yesterday, I got 3 requests to ch a t. Today I got another.
One of those requests was from an account created yesterday. It's kinda creepy. Is this normal? It doesn't feel normal.
Today's request is from a community member I have never interacted with and the other person doesn't appear to have been active on this site for 2 months.
It's so hard to reach it, and a lot of subreddits require 100 just to post.
I often wonder how can I get started here if most subreddits require your account to have at least 30 days old, and many of them require you to have a certain amount of Karma in order to post or even comment. How will I acquire Karma if I can't actually do anything?
I'm new to reddit and I just want to interact/post in subreddits that interest me. All of them have a Karma requirement. It seems to take a lot of effort just to get the karma needed for joining subreddits. Why do subreddits have a karma restriction?
With Karma, how do I determine how much Karma I need to be able to post on certain subreddits. Is there a way for me to see this without messaging people?
I try to engage with people posts and leave positive comments but sometime I feel like the site punishes you for actually using it. I want to enjoy the site but it a little discouraging.
What does it mean to have a "Established Reputation" on Reddit? Why does some sub-reddit's require it?
Hope you are having a better time than me friends times can are ruff around here. ^^
I have been reddit for a while but still can’t figure out
